I watched you get the sidearm in BFV the Peacekeeper, that was cool. It makes me wonder sometimes how people suss these little easter eggs out, I mean how on earth is someone gonna suss that out without actually knowing it's there or without having a clue previously? It really amazes me. There's another one on BF1 where you have to press the lights in a certain order (or is that also bf5?) like morse code but I can't remember fully why you can do it or what's the actual benefit of doing so. Tbh I just haven't got the patience to do that type of stuff I really can't be bothered most days but I think it is so cool still when I see others do it, big respect to you all who've done so, that's dedication right there. I gotta admit too the Peacekeeper sidearm is one hell of a cool looking sidearm and the animations are sweet as F. Hey what's the damage and the rpm on that gun? I imagine it to have a good damage profile for the sidearm that it is and I also imagine that it will fire quicker than most or all revolvers in the game but I could be wrong. I'm usually too busy trying to keep myself and team m8s alive than go looking for things like that lol......or waiting to spawn back in lol.
The fact that this is damn near impossible without renting your own server makes it all the more curious how 15 people have this camo on a single server whenever I play bf4
eh :/ back when i did it, there were community servers hosted just to help people get it. the admins and community members were posted up all around the map ready to get any of the buttons. never had to do any of the lamp puzzles, the guy even translated the final unlock code for me. sooooo. thanks to the community, actually quite easy to get. (though i spent like 3h trying to do it on my own before, rather unsuccessfully ^^')
There are community servers that have admins that help you do it, at least on PC. I got it with the help of an admin on the AE51 DICE LA Easter Egg Server.

Combine the total No-Shower Power of the Oldschool Runescape, Destiny, Battlefield, COD Zombies, And GTA V communities, and you could crack solve any riddle or puzzle in existence.
The tree switch is the most evil of all of them, because there are trees all over the map, you have to blow it up, and then it's really hard to see even when it's exposed.
Always amazes me how people figured these easter eggs out. I know there is a whole community and some probably exploited programs but, the more code, aligned with audio and code cracking the alphabet. Props.

Hello! I managed to get this camo back then on PS4. It was fun. It took some time but I eventually did it. I still wish I got the BF1 gun. I got up to the lights and just couldn’t do it.
There's an excel spreadsheet that you can use that makes it massively easier. I used it about a week ago and got the gun on Wednesday. Search The Disposalist on TH-cam.
Ah you mean with the checkerboard pattern and the sandbags? That was the hardest for me at least, took me 2 days, but once you really try to figure it out, it got pretty simple.
My whole clan actually has this unlocked. Parts of your weapon will still be visible sometimes however, and all veteran players know about the dice camo and will just take a millisecond longer to spot/shoot you. It does make a little difference tho and finally unlocking it after all the hassle definitely is cool. What about the rest of the phantom objectives?
Phantom bullshit is pointless when they released that dlc map that just gives you the weapon. I always thought that was lame. I guess the camos and dogtags are cool though.
yeah but when you had it years ago and only maybe 1 or 2 people per server had it it was pretty cool :P. All it really did though is change tankers from always running thermal to toggling every now and again to see explosives etc.
Did this with my friends a year ago or so since we got tired of tanks seeing us through everything and it was a good thing that there were servers specifically to do this on.

On PC pretty much as soon as I started an admin came and helped me. I messed up so he restarted the server and did it for me. That was great (it was the AE51 servers I think; they have many Easter Egg Unlock Servers).
I submitted a ticket for missing content and got that camo along with the dev dog tags and beta tester gear. Around the time the night map was added. Never even knew it had a quirk
Btw i did on pc a while back it was well worth it to hear neebs gaming saying promoted in the end of the quest while puting in the final code and unlocking the dice la camo a really cool easter egg by the dice la team

The other unforgettable unlock that i made with a friend of mine was the phantom bow, before the legacy maps existed. Using the last dlc expansion, i still have the video on my facebook to remember it.
I truly no longer believe people just stumbled across things like this, and then were able to put it all together by themselves. The Devs tell a small group of people who then make videos about it and it slowly gets out IMO.

WESTIE joined for a bit to see how we were getting on. there was some other youtubers joined for a bit too. the last one to be found was, not surprising, the one hidden in the tree. I can remember someone in an attack heli who had cleared the entire map of all the trees, im not even kidding. but once we found it, and got the light with morse code came on , we were all pumped. i dont know how figured out the sequence for the buttons. it seemed like it took a liftime hahah. we did this without any app or software for it. it was a an epic experience. and the reward for doing it was so worth it. the most op thing in BF history for sure

I loved this easter egg so much. Helped over 100 people get it because the lights were so much fun.
Theres free public servers with built in walkthroughs to do this. Took like 40 mins at best. Most regular players these days have it, in Aus anyway.
If you think that camo will save you from tank tryhards youre dead wrong, you're gonna blasted by them regardless of your soldier skin.
