This couple is so genuine, you can feel their genuineness all away over the screen. They are also so respectful of the Malaysian audience, not overly loving, promoting excessive public display of affection but yet this couple are the most beautiful loving couple on TH-cam. Couple goals ❤️

I'm from Sabah, I was first posted in Teluk Intan, Perak for my first job as a healthcare personnel back in 2015, I never have Masalodeh before, the first time I tasted it, it instantly became personal for me 🤣, almost everyday I go to mamak restaurant Infront of the hospital for my meal and I never missed buying Masalodeh, that's my Dragon Ball ❤️🐉⚽

Yes, do visit Quallys. Kak Ayu is really passionate and cook from the heart. She is also very lovely person, very friendly and nice to chat with as well. I only tried her food once and thoroughly enjoyed it. Most of her dishes is on the spicy side though and after covid my tolerance for spicy food is low so I have not patron her place since but looking forward to returning there again in the near future.

I personally know Kak Ayu previously when we worked together in F&B industry. Her passion for good food is genuine. My wife is the food purchaser for her restaurant that time and she only insist on particular supplier only, her reasoning is - fresh and high quality. And because of that, She always in quarrel with the top management because of these issues haha

As a born pahang kid, i always wanted u guys to come to Temerloh to taste Patin Tempoyak. There are so many kedai makan in the villages that serve authentic and delicious Patin Tempoyak, fresh from its river near the kedai makan. Most of Patin Tempoyak nowadays they add sugar to stimulate its sweetness and add asam keping to stimulate its sourness. But the really authentic patin tempoyak sweetness and sourness come from its tempoyak (adding old fermented tempoyak and new fermented tempoyak) plus freshness from the patin itself.

My 'dragon ball' is cendol pulut durian from Cendol Bakar, Kuala Selangor. I happened to attend a wedding in the area and on the way out, saw that shop/drive-through. It was my first time trying all 3 together and it totally shut me up. Cannot talk, only eat, until it was all finished. The palm sugar and santan were especially fragrant; the durian used was also a rich bittersweet taste that complemented everything. It was also de-seeded first, which I totally appreciate. Plus, I had it in a big takeaway cup and had no problems slurping everything down in the car. By the way, I am a Penangite, and I've found nothing even close to that level and standard on my little island. They have really spoiled me because if anyone tells me it's available here, I ask in reply "Is the durian de-seeded?"

My Dragon Ball is when I ate ikan puyu goreng in Kedah, freshly caught by the local at their bendang during my university course activity. It looks so simple, yet the taste is so sweet that when I took a bite I was stunned for a few seconds. Maybe I was too tired and hungry with the activity that time so it tasted extra special? Probably. But man, the sweetness, I wish I can taste it again.

So I just follow her teaching to cook the Sambal for my dad but after that I never want to taste it. But then my dad ask to taste because he said it was a little bit salty. So i taste it and "yummy" . From western food's lover suddenly i fall for rice + fried fish with that sambal ketuk and cucumber. Now i can eat that food everyday

I love the feeling everytime I watch your videos, heartwarming and entertaining. We can't wait to have you back in Malaysia!
I bet each Malaysian has their own "dragonball" place, and at this moment I can think of 3 places (of many many) that I could recommend. 1. There is a malay nasi campur place in Bagan Dalam, Penang (mainland side) called Warung Kelat where they serve an excellent array of lauk, including really nice fish curry and sup tulang. I see mostly locals working around the area there, almost no sign of tourists. Although next door there is a nice famous bawal goreng place too. 2. For your kuih fix in KL I highly recommend Bawang Merah in Subang. Their seri muka is the best and it finishes really quickly. Its not a viral place but you know the place is good when you see a lot of aunties and uncles buying the kuihs. 3. Lastly satay at Satay Yunus in Melawati. There are probably other good satay places too but this place is extra special to me because its handled by a nice elderly couple and they only open Fri thru Sun only. Its not famous but the beef satay is very flavourful and juicy, they cook it to medium well maybe? And the char is just nice 👌🏼

I went to Kedah recently and visited the Laksa Teluk Kechai just for the sambal pulut. We waited abt 20 min for the pulut to arrive since it is quite early. The pulut is very good, I bought few more to take home, keep it in fridge and still good after 1 week.

When both of you come to Penang again, you can try Laksa Campur Kampung Petani, in mainland Penang. Its the rice version of the laksa and mixed with cucur udang, sambal tauhu goreng, egg and sambal sotong. And of course you can put extra sambal in the laksa and the otak udang. Another thing, you should watch a comedic movie titled "Lagi Lagi Senario". Its a fun movie about roti canai stall. Very nice movie. Welcome back to Malaysia.
