First time when i went to ikea and eat their curry puff. I fell in love. Since i am from terengganu, and there is no ikea here so i bought 15-20 pieces to my hometown just to let my family taste this ! And my family said why buy so little 😂😂😂
An example of only in Malaysia way of saying.. "the food is sooooo goooddd".. by saying.. so little.... or why the portion is so small.. Lol..

For me, Ikea's curry puffs are the best in Malaysia. Even kampung curry puffs couldn't hold a candle next to them and this comes from a 39 y.o. Malay guy who grew up with Malay kampung kuihs in his belly day in day out 😂
This is something new. We goes to IKEA for the Swedish meatballs (well...Karipap as well). You guys went there for Ondeh2, rendang, percik, gula melaka and karipap.
The went to Ikea cafe. The Ikea restaurant is inside the actual store.

I like the Meatballs with that strawberry jam, the chicken wings, the pie, the karipap, the free flow refill coffee and the old soft serve vanilla ice cream (already replaced by soy ice cream). Most of the things I stated are available at Ikea Restaurant instead of the Ikea Cafe
Even me as a Malaysian doesn't know these dishes even existed😅 Great thing to know. I will surely try it if I have the chance to go there😋

Karipap definitely the best. I think maybe because of the "inti" (filling) taste more authentic compared to local vendor plus the outer shell (kulit karipap) that is more of like a pastry. So its fusion food - a balanced mix of modern and traditional aspect to it.
Ikea Curry puff is my favourite... so after all the good food you guys can stay at Malaysia forever, don't go back HK or Japan. we are welcome you.

Actually, I haven't tried all the food in IKEA as well.....and yet both IChang & Jimmy are killing it....I usually either go for the Fried Chicken Wing and the Hot Dog....

You have to make a trip to IKEA for maybe lunch or dinner Mr David. Surprisingly the price is also way cheaper than going to McD etc. Can also dabao the karipap for tea time at home because even my mum loves the karipap there so much. The fried dumplings is also nice

Hey Ichang & Jimmy. You should try out Malis Corner at Taman Bunga Raya, KL! Their Nasi Lemak Ayam and Char Kuey Teow are the best! Preferably come at 8pm onwards

I work not far from IKEA and i'll buy the curry puff at least once a week. Also if i'm going back to my hometown to Terengganu, i'll buy a dozen and half to bring back. They last long too! They're just so good!

Hi Ichang and Jimmy, just FYI - there is a MRT station just underneath MyTown shopping mall (the mall connected to IKEA). The station is called "Cochrane". Im assuming you used Grab or something because I saw you guys walking from outside to enter Ikea. I saw alot of TH-camrs went Ikea w Grab which is very expensive now (because they dun know about the MRT station).
I imagine it is pretty confusing as a foreigner to board the MRT given that as a Malaysian myself (haven’t personally used MRT before, I am equally as clueless when it comes to it)
based on the video when they came back to malaysia I noticed they stayed at KL sentral....only few minutes to MRT Merdeka so I hope they are using the MRT.

Are you guys planning to travel all over Malaysia? Because so far you're just going around KL. There's a lot of great cuisine outside of KL to be honest, especially in Penang, Ipoh and Melaka.

Surprisingly it’s even cheaper than McDonald’s or KFC. And if you go with your family, you just need to buy one drink because it is refillable with all the flavours too

Hope you try other popular Chinese KL food like Dai Lok Meen, Curry chee cheong fun, Pork noodles (sam kan chong), the popular longan drink and bean curd in Chinatown...Indian rojak, curry fish head etc...
