In the last 20 years I bought 30 plus kayaks starting with a pa14 didn’t like the drive so I bought a old town 132 PDL Drive second trip sitting down and the kayak rolled in slow motion sold it and bought Bonafide P127 it takes a football field to turn so now I bought 136 AP and love it
@TheOutdoorConquest they are top notch on the bigwater..... Hence the name "Bigwater" I've been on some crazy rough waters on Erie, Lake St Clair and Saginaw Bay
@@ScottHillOutdoors thanks buddy! I’m heading to Colorado at the end of September for 8 days and will be slipping back into fishing until the lakes freeze up more than likely. Tough for me to deer hunt much during the week because I work afternoons and the mornings aren’t great hunting for me until November
Well like before welcome to the OT family 💯🍻! I'm enjoying seeing that you are so happy with your new OT kayak! Well deserved I'm sure Lucas. I'm looking forward to all the bad ass content you get in that monster of a yak 💯😁.
Hey man I just rewatched your muskie video where you fished right up the road from where I live. It inspired me to go an blow a little to much money on an actual muskie setup. I hope to see you at that spot on Jefferson this season!
Appreciate it bro! Muskie season on the spillway will be happening SOON! I’m hoping to go up stream further with the yak also and see what’s lurking up there! Hope to see ya out the top man!
I set my kayak up with foot steering about 2 years ago and will never go back to lever steering, best decision I’ve made. That’s my ultimate want as far as kayaking goes but I’m still not sold on the length of time the battery gets W/O a PWM. If I could figure out how to keep spotlock/autopilot and run it on a PMW that would be great 😂
TX Kayak Trailers on Instagram makes them. I’m sure if you do some digging you’ll find someone that does them. A guy here in MI used to but he stopped. I like my setup which is a Facebook marketplace special jet ski trailer I fabbed up to work
If you’re looking for a pedal drive the big fish series and dorado are great options. Very stable kayaks. If you’re not interested in pedal drives which is where I’m currently at for tournament fishing the Old town autopilot series is the king of kayaks. Such an awesome yak!
thx for reply. I'm debating btw big fish vs dorado. which do you think is more durable/leaks less? old fish rudder mount seems flimsy. @@TheOutdoorConquest
@@lighto999 the dorado will take on water over the bow. The BF108 will stay dry. You can also load the BF108 in a pickup truck bed VS the dorado where it’s sketchy in the truck without a tailgate extension so you’ll be looking at the trailer. The dorado has more bells and whistles but IMO I would prefer the BF108 over the dorado as and all around better fishing kayak. Again it’s not as tricked out as the dorado but the simplicity of it matches with the stability is unmatched.
Looks good ! First thing I noticed was the upgraded handle for the graph. Also give a call about the jog feature puck. I got one and it’s sitting in a box. Not using it .

Amen brother! I’ve gone through my share of yaks as well but definitely loving this OT AP 136
Welcome to the club buddy! Glad you got such a wild deal!
Thanks my guy!
Thanks! Excellent review with thoughtful comments. I’m going from a 520 to a kayak and was considering pedals. This is a far better solution.
Thanks a lot for watching! I’m going to do a 1 year review video for this yak but YES this is worth buying!
I got an oldtown 120 PDL earlier this yr and love it but got a great deal on a barely used autopilot 120 and it’s one of the best.
@@nelhead4807 it’s tough to beat the Autopilot for sure! Thanks for watching
Fish Texas trailers does custom trailers. Just got mine and it’s awesome.
I follow them on instagram I see they make nice trailers! Thanks for watching!
Those things are awesome. Get the gps puck. Spot lock jog is a game changer
Thanks for watching! I’m definitely going to get the puck also.
What is the GPS pick?

Love my 136 pdl..... Old Town is hard to beat
I’ve only been on mine for a total of 2 trips and 4.5 hours but I’m instantly loving it. Out to LSC in the morning. Haven’t been there in 2 months!

@TheOutdoorConquest that's what I hear.... I'm in hunting mode now and haven't been in the kayak in a bit. Tight lines 💥😎

I run a 100ah and get all day power and spot locking power. Thanks for watching. I absolutely love the foot steering!
I have a 156 ohmmu. And it will run for days.
Hi, have the Sportsman Auto Pilot 120. The trailer I have isn’t ideal. Do you know any companies or individuals who custom make trailers?

Lifetime warranty you say….. Go when you do the full review can you add what that covers? Nice looking tub. Room for days!
Yes lifetime! I will definitely cover more on it soon!

I’m 6’8. Would it be to compact for a guy my height? It looks so much fun.
Man I’m 6’2” and I have a LOT of leg room.
Are you still happy with it? I have the chance to get one dirt cheap. It’s only been in the water once.
Buy it. It’s the best yak I’ve ever fished from. Love mine
