Pro tip: start wrapping from the back/bottom. that way the loops are facing down/rear and wont catch dirt that will then hold moisture and will rust you pipes.
The final product looks GREAT!!! But it does look very time consuming. Keep adding new parts until the Miata is close to perfect. The build is coming along AWESOME!!!
Dang dude you wrapped that thing like a pro, I could never get clothes hangers to wrap like that! Funny thing is that I thought back to the wrap vid for the xb right after this one started before you mentioned it because I saw it last week since I plan on wrapping some headers for my second gen xb as soon as they arrive. Cool stuff man man, looking forward to next week as always!
I'm excited to finished with the Miata in the next couple of weeks. This should go a long way in cutting down excess heat. I can't wait to get the new motor mounts and stop all of the excess movement under the hood. Thanks for always watching!
rad brotha it looks good to me , and i think imma have to get some the spray for my wrap as well.. cuz that is a really good idea and i did not do it , but i will deff do so now ... peace and love brotha keep it rad stay safe and build on ... l8z
If you look at the end of your header you can see a pretty big exhaust leak getting through the gasket.. Most likely where your heat is coming from. Us some of that high temp exhaust gasket sealer in the gold tube on each side of the gaskets and you'll be set.
I did a video on the install a while back. You'll have to check out our other videos to hear the exhaust. I don't have a dedicated video to the exhaust sound.
