Henry is out of action for some time, meaning that there’s a gab in heavy goods power that Merlin can't fill by himself. Thus, Topham brings on a new goods engine to help out. However, things are off to a rough start, since the new engine has had a past that has a major impact on its work effort

By the way, I've especially wanted to mention that I personally just suddenly learned that Geoffrey was basically built as a specifically certain Consolidation type that seriously served during the war in France along with the official fact that he certainly happens to be an official old chap of Percy the Small Engine as they certainly BOTH mentioned to Edward the Blue Engine! Also, apparently for another fact is basically that Geoffrey happens to be exactly also apparently featured in the famous Stories of Sodor series by Victor Tanzig himself! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ In fact, it's completely obviously clear that they certainly did actually seem to basically manage to mention a certain steam locomotive only known as 87546 that got nicknamed Blue due to his own paint color who basically blew himself up during a certain war over in France!
I've seen many fan interpretations of Geoffrey, but this one is one of the best. Great job!
An interesting episode to say the least, and Percy was the last engine I ever expected, especially one to serve in the Railway Operating Division.
It is always good to have friends and family during and before hard times as they will always be by your side.
I will have to edit this when I have watched this,
but I will start to say, this looks promising, and I think this episode will be fun to watch.

It was based of the war which was a nice touch but also adding 87546 in this was a good touch as well, but I can't imagine what will happen if he was "rebuilt"

I just love how Thomas and Friends is so related to the world of work skills in real life. And same with the social skills to get along with coworkers. This is why I love so much watching it as an adult. With all the helpful social cues and work cues 😊

I love the idea of percy literally being a war veteran and him have to probably haul a massive gun or two back in his day, well done!

Fun fact: in the original audio story book of Edwards day out and Sad story of Henry, had a few added bits that weren’t in the books or in the finished episode
There is a rare leaked audio footage of Edwards day out, we all normally think Gordon told Edward the driver would never pick him but according to the audio, it was actually the red engine, because it said, and I quote
(In a German accent*) Haha, the driver, he won’t choose you again! Said Allad Greedy, a red engine, ah we wants big strong engines, like us he does, hmm hmm haha hmm hmm, and all the engines would laugh at Edward, Edward began to feel sad”
So if Geoffrey is the red engine then it would go against the books

Merlin is a king Arthur class the class had three funnels to protect itself from getting bombed in the war the steam from each funnel covered up the engines top. Geoffrey knows percy???

This was overall very well done in depicting the difficulties of living with PTSD (or shell shock as it was called at that time). However, in an effort to encourage more trauma-informed viewership, I would strongly suggest including a trigger warning of some sort in the description (especially in relation to the war themes and way in which Geoffrey's flashbacks were described). Given that PTSD was highly stigmatized and not well understood back then, I can understand why Geoffrey's flashbacks were referred to as "freakouts". However, as someone with a background in psychology and trained in trauma-informed learning, I can tell you that warning individuals who may find this or future material triggering can go a long way. You do not need to take my suggestion, but I thought I'd throw out my thoughts for you and others who may be producing their own content to consider.
