Yes, Christopher Lee was a trained singer. And there even was a performance on a German TV show where they performed that song in German language.
He also voiced King Haggard of the Last Unicorn in english and german. Just a nuts guy

Christopher Lee didnt have the money to train Opera when he was asked by a Swedish (In Think) Opera singer just after the war after he sang for fun in the company of others, so he became an actor after having done stuff in the secret sevice WO II, Oh he a Bad Ass y'all.

What blows my mind about Fabio is that he's a heavy smoker still to this day and his voice don't seem to suffer from it.

try listening to Heroes of Waterfall Kingdoms, the last song of rhapsody of fire that featured the trio Lione (singer) - Turilli (guitar) - Staropoli (piano) before thesplit in the band, its astounding. And Yes, that note in the end is Fabio himself = D his Lamento Eroico live performances are incredible

There's a third voice in this mix. This comes from the first version of The Magic of the Wizard's Dream, where Fabio did both voices.

This is so cool! But the video is soooo weird! I have actually never seen that version, I've seen one where they are only in that concert hall or whatever for the entire video.
They had Christopher Lee as narrator on their albums from 2004 to 2011. The albums are all fantasy, concept albums which tell a story you can actually follow all the way through the albums.
After 2011 Rhapsody of Fire split in two halves, one still carries the same name and the other half became Luca Turilli Rhapsody, I think you already reacted to "Prometheus" by them. Both Alessandro Contio and Fabio Lione are such excellent vocalists, and in my mind, Luca Turilli is just pure compositional genius.

@@kookoo9235 ahahah, he Is Always around the world but i met him a couple of time in the park here in out little town (near Pisa) and he was very friendly and we talked for about an hour about Rhapsody and music
