Producing the same car many times can also get boring and repetitive, especially with one person to do everything. But we'd love exclusive editions anyway.
Oh, wow, what a beautiful piece of work, buddy! And the paint job is stunning, too! I love following your work process, and I am so much looking forward to start doing this myself, hopefully this winter I can get started... It is awesome, I think I will watch the video again, in full screen!
This is awesome work, you're seriously talented! Besides the body itself looking literally spot on original, I'm especially impressed with the paintjob, stickerwork and attention to detail. I love it! How did you get so good at modelling the bodies with wood, just learning by doing? I'm guessing you use profiles too to help with the proportions?
Mostly just 3-view prints and a lot of pictures of the original car, if available also a 1:43 or 1:24 scale model car. For the 499p I had indeed only pictures and rough rendering from the side and top-down
Wow, great job with the whole process ... That turned out pretty much spot on ! What did u use for material , sounded like PTEG when u were removing the drivers cockpit .. Anyway congrats on a sweet piece
Thanks! I'm using both PETG and Makrolon. For a new mold the first time often PETG before I move on to Makrolon because it is more easy to use and it is showing if I made a mistake with the mold. In this case, there was an undercut at the end of the air inlet which I realized when I wanted to take the cockpit out. Next one will be Makrolon, which is more durable in my experience.
Thanks for the reply , that makes total sense. Ive never heard of Makrolon ? Basically same thing as lexan ? I gotta ask.... Would u or do u sell any bodies ? Would love to acquire one of these ... Thanks again for ur time
Makrolon is a brand name of Polycarbonate - actually Lexan is also the same. But in Germany, it is easier to get Makrolon. Don't even know any source where to buy Lexan brand. Makrolon I'm using 0.8mm sheets, if stronger I need a higher vacuum.
I wasn't sure if it would look good on these Hypercar bodies. So I made the body first without it and maybe I will use a pen liner to draw doors, hoods etc. I haben't done so yet but I'm still thinking to do it...
SO if I can't buy a body of these cars can you make me a mold and sell it to me trying every way to get one I have seen in the last few days someone is putting this body into production but it looks like crap next to yours.
I prefer the good old craftmanship. It makes more fun to work with my own hands. And for a relaxing hobby, I don't want to be in front of a screen... But that's only my personal preference 🤘
I watched a lot of your process videos and your results just kept getting better and better!. Thanks for sharing.
you should produce and sell those. id love to buy one!
This is only hobby, I'm not a commercial seller...
But think of the possibilities @@scalercmodels9261

Highly impressive work. many people would definitely buy that if passed produced.
Any plans for a 9X8 shell?
Not for the moment...
Il problema è per vendere la scocca devi avere licenza Ferrari, sennò si rischia sul copyright
Oh im envious for sure

Great build… AGAIN! Would love to see you making a DAF 55 coupe rally version.
Impressive work
Thanks!
Espectacular como las hago yo te felicito dada más que en 1.32 para slot
Was there any reason not to scribe in the window and door lines into this mold? Does the lines make it harder to vacuum form?

If there is any way to get this 499P Body or the Porsche 963 please let me know or sell me the mold LOL Kind Regards. Love them!
This is amazing. Can you do an F1 car 👀
very impressive, i would buy some if you were to sell. Id like to make my own too

Wow just amazing. I’ve been looking for this body. Please let me know where I can purchase it,

I'm sorry, this is only hobby, I'm not a commercial seller...

Good job friend ! Do you think i can do it one lightning McQueen the wood model ?

Nice job but it would have been a lot faster/easier to CAD and 3D print the tool. If you don't have a printer, send the file to someone that does.
