sadly, I agree. I have been watching the X Games since it's inception and it seems like FMX has peaked in its progression. there really is only so much you can do with a motorbike and a ramp, especially when these guys basically do everything first try.
Seeing rob and jacko throw front flip variations at ventura was insane? Whips get more cranked every year. Quarter pipes next level (If you dont appreciate how crazy it is you can't ride quarters, plus the risk involved going that high only to come straight down. Axells backflip wheelies. You guys are spoiled stop whinging

Bring back WinterX FMX, cold cutters in the knobbies and 75 foot snow to snow aka ice to ice gaps why not? 💪🏻😂
Taka getting a bronze medal with a 2012 trick. Like nothing new has been done for the past 12 years. Vanstippen and Villegas invited for no reason like no one in the world could do better. A shame Bink crashed in practice, maybe he had something up his sleeve. Atleast Jacko landed a new trick which saved the event. Fmx really misses the X Fighters, it made the riders bring so many new tricks
How many of these guys would even think about doing any of this on a dirt landing? ZERO.. air mattress is good for learning but not comp, just my 2 cents
Wow ...FMX is just going downhill.. Xgames did a bad job advertising this event. They had what .5-6 riders? Only 2 riders really compeating...small crowd. FMX in Xgames was huge back in 2000s. Packed stadiums. Televised event. Now its Just horrible.
I don't think it matters, man. Rider safety is paramount, or else you don't get a show anymore. They're gonna throw down no matter what the landing looks like.

Now warm ups done when does the comp start ? Or are we looking at an electric bike and bag landing for 2025 ? Rather watch bmx and the boys at darkfest hitting bigger jumps doing better tricks on a mtb….
Riders like Taka and doubleflippers are killing this wonderfull sport. ZERO progression for years. Why they are competing in best trick contests? I don't know. This is embarrassing... I miss Pastrana, Pages or Rinaldo. They were FMX artists. Taka and doubleflippers are just riders.
