Thanks for taking the time to help us (Me) TH-cam bone-heads how too navigate this useful part of the program. Thank you so much for the kind words and support! 👍 Unfortunately, I can’t answer your question as I have never tried to save a playlist to a library and wouldn’t know where to look either!
So serious question I want to use a song I found for a game I am making(more specific a steam trailer) went to the main creators youtube video of the song to check the license but it just says its under the TH-cam Audio Library so Im confused if I can use it or not. I mean of course the trailer will be on youtube but its also gonna be on steam and probably other places. It doesn't really state if you can use the music to market something like a game and it doesn't state if it can be used in a game or not.
Regarding the sound effects, is there no way to just add them to my youtube video from within youtube studio? The only option I see is to download them to my pc, and there doesn't appear to be a way to upload them via youtube studio. Plus, there's no way to "star" the sound effects, so you can't access them from the starred menu either. If you don't use premiere or other editing programs, and just want to add a quick sound effect to a vid, it seems you're just out of luck - unless I'm missing something here. I find it strange that they'll let you easily add music, but not sound effects in the studio.
To be honest I have never used youtube studio to edit as I have been using Premiere Pro for over 20 years now...that being said I believe you can access the youtube audio library on your phone in the studio...if you scroll down a couple of comments on here someone asked how to do it 3 weeks ago (it's not letting me copy and paste it on my phone right now) and it's alot of instructions to get there. Let me know if you're able to access the sound effects that way.
Thank you for the video. Really nice feature inside the youtube studio. I have a question. Is it allowed to remix music tracks from youtube audio library? For example, if the track is 2 min long, but I need it to be 3 min. Can I repeat a part of the music track somewhere in the middle?
Yes, but they don't make it very easy! You have to open the TH-cam app, click on your profile pic, then go to help and feedback, then search audio library, click on the first option that says use audio library, and then there's a link about halfway down the page that directs you to the audio library, it will then ask you to try out the TH-cam Studio app...ignore this and hit the option below that says "continue to studio" and then you're in and can start using the audio library.
@@ScooterMediaVideos Thank you. They should make the audio library accessible through the TH-cam studio app itself for convenience. The same can be said for other features like multiple social site linking, changing the featured video on channel, etc…

When I make my shorts, I use Instagram to make them because I post on both yt and ig. I edit on ig, and then uploaded it to yt, but use yt sounds. Most aren't copyrighted, but two. I recently uploaded a yt short using a video I recorded myself, and didn't use no other social media to make or edit the video. I uploaded it with a yt audio library, and I'm getting copyrighted... I do have 2 TH-cam channels, and uploaded the same video and sound to both accounts, but it's still not identical. I have 2 because I like to post 2 different types of content, one being normal, random stuff, and this one is about astrology lol. Can you please tell me why I'm having this issue?
I'm not really sure, as I don’t know all of the rules surrounding the TH-cam Audio Library but it could be that some of the songs being used require you to attribute the artist in the video description and if you don't you get a copyright notification.
Do you know if these songs can be used for other projects other than videos on youtube? We're making a video game in school, can we credit and use the songs or is it exclusively for youtube?
Hello, I'm not sure what your question is...the audio library is full of songs that you don't need a license for and the only one's that you need to give credit for are the ones that say "attribution required" and it explains what you have to do for those one's.
Thanks, great vid, but I've tried that and I get the dreaded "sharing revenue" even when using music from youtube's "free" music library. Is there a way to grab a license for these from youtube? I seem to be prompted to do that, when uploading the video. Thanks!
You’re welcome! I have used music from the TH-cam Audio Library a zillion times and have never experienced what you’ve explained. The only thing I can think of is that you may have used music that required attribution and then didn’t provide that attribution. If you use the ones that say no attribution required, then you are totally fine to use them and still be monetized (unless something has changed that I am unaware of). There are no licenses for these because they are already royalty free.
I don't see why you shouldn't be allowed to, but I don't know all of the rules surrounding it. As far as I know the music is copyright free and as long as you're using it on TH-cam you can do what you want with it.
i have been using youtube audio library music only then why in my some videos description music section is added by youtube. will it create any problem in my monetization of channel or to my videos? . please help
If you are using music from the TH-cam audio library in TH-cam videos then it will not create any issues with monetization. Some of the songs require you to add the artist information in the description and if you don’t, maybe TH-cam does it for you…I only choose songs that don’t require this step.
My understanding is that as long as you are using the songs on TH-cam and you aren't cutting the songs up to make your own music out of them, then yes you can use them for just about anything.
It states i can nor remix them how about cuting them into peces and making some parts louder so the becground makes sense to whats heppening in the video (the main audiotrack is my voice anyway talking)
lets say I download a song (with the TH-cam icon so I don't have to shout anyone out) and I apply it to my video, I saw somewhere that I have to use the full song and I can't cut the song up and what not, how does all of that work exactly?
You do not need to use the full song, and you are allowed to cut the song up. You are not allowed to cut the song up and remix the audio parts to make your own song out of them. I have used parts of multiple songs in the same video.
@@ScooterMediaVideos that clears up the question, thank you bro! All I do is download it, use it in my vlog or video and do I credit it? Or does TH-cam automatically know it’s their song free for use?
