This video was posted 2 years ago at the time of writing this comment. In the description box there's an important note about how to engage with this video and my communication style at the time. Please take a look :)

Easy one. Got 3 of 3 for Thinker, didn't even have to 'think' about any of the the questions. Nice concert t-shirt, btw...

You are right. I am an ENFP and am balanced on "T" and "F," with a slight tendency toward being a feeler. On a version of the test that used colors, I came out as a blue/green, which is on the cusp of NT and NF.

I'm 100% a feeler. One of the functions I've always been most confident in.

3:28 i could be persuaded by a mountain of many people's personal experience because it becomes empirical evidence. So, the comparison is less emotional vs logical and more objective vs subjective.

I’m a Thinker who prioritizes other’s feelings because I logically believe people matter. And that’s a fact.

No you didn’t everyone has both. Let me explain.
There are 8 functions We all use all 8 functions. 4 of them are actively in our conscious mind that were aware of and rely on the most. One is dominant, another is secondary. Those are our strongest. Third is tertiary which we can use but isn’t as strong as the first two and we can’t use it quite as well as people who have that as their dominant function. The last is one we use but is like a weakness and often comes out in stressful situations or can make us stressed to have to use it, but it can be developed over time.
4 functions into two categories, judging (related to decisions) and perceiving (related to information). Each function is extroverted (focusing outward) or introverted (focusing inward). We all have 2 extroverted and 2 introverted functions, but our primary function will typically say whether we tend to be or prefer to be more extroverted or introverted.
The judging functions are extroverted thinking, introverted thinking, which are both logical. Extroverted thinking involves organizing the outer world and people and uses logic. Introverted thinking tends to focus on self, organizing your inner thoughts and making sure you follow sound logic and reasoning.
F means you rely on values and feeling. I means u focus/value more what you personally value and feel, e means you focus on what others value and feel.
Perceiving: sensing and intuition are described in the video. Again briefly U narrow down the facts (introverted sensing or si) v expanding facts (extroverted sensing or Si), and narrow down ideas and concepts (introverted intuition Ni) vs expanding ideas and concepts (extroverted intuition Ne)
if is before t you are INFP. What that means is primary function is introverted, perceiving function is extroverted. So your first function is introverted judging, in this case since feeling is first, introverted feeling. Second since N is first the next and it comes after your introverted function, it will be extroverted intuition ir Ne. But there are two other functions in your main conscious identity, and 4 others in your subconscious. The 2 others in your main “ego” will be your thinking and perceiving functions. In this case the next will come after your second and will be opposite, and the last will be after the first. Opposite of extroverted intuition is introverted sensing, and opposite of introverted feeling is extroverted thinking.
So an INFP will have introverted feeling Fi, Ne, Si, Te. They will have all four its a matter of lrimary function vs demon. If theres one ur strong at and love to use all the time vs one that u can use but makes u feel weak or stressed or u only use in stressful sutuations thats likely dominant vs demon.

With the first one I'm practicing the balance of telling people what is the truth and factual but in a kind and respectful manner. Truth will set you free. Second, I feel happy being with my kids. Third, I do tend to get swayed based off a moral story, what is right and moral. Which is why I have to be careful and ask questions because there are clever people who twist stories for their own benefit and to make the other party look negative.

I’m just a smart feeler. I notice lack of thought and accuracy, and may even call it out sometimes, but I put way more priority on how people should behave and treat one another. When someone fails to behave in line with what I think is acceptable, I can get very upset or disgusted even.

Alexis nice video....well so far ive landed on I & N...I'm clearly a cusp on the 3rd position even after watching several videos on T or F.....For example in a scenario where if I witnessed a hit-n-run accident: I would be dialing 911 for any injured parties while trying to get the runners tag number...i can be blunt one minute and polite the next....My decision really depends on several different factors...Would like to see more realistic scenarios with the viewer choosing A or B....hopefully that will tip the scale for some of us on the cusp

    1. I get very into facts and logic when unhealthy, and it results in stubbornness and arguments. I feel most healthy discussing what people _should_ do.
    2. I feel a little more comfortable talking to people than I do in a work environment, but I still don't really like talking to people for too long.
    3. I resonate more with moral stories. I still love fairytales and fables.
    Yup. I'm a feeler.

This is all still new to me. My test said I was a INFJ Mastermind, but learning about the INTJ, I now wonder how Accurate being a INFJ is for me. Because I'm more a thinker, but I'm also a feeler. I try to balance both, by thinking of both before doing a action.
I'll explain a few ways on how I think, and maybe someone can tell me if I'm a INTJ, or INFJ. Because right now, I'm thinking I'm both, but I hear that's not how it works, so I need some help working it out.
I'm very happy alone, I'm very logical, but I also understand feelings in other people. Though I don't get angry like other people. It's like I'm too Rational, or Logical in my Anger. I don't know how to have natural anger. It's like I'm overthinking it. Making me feel fake in someway when I'm angry. Like I don't have a right to it. I just don't understand.
I love reading stories where we see the character thinking and feeling. I love going through those emotions. It's very entertaining for my brain. I can put myself in the shoes of the characters rather easily, and see the world from their pov. I can do that in the real world as well.
Something that are difficult for people to understand, are so very simple for me, but other things that are so simple for others, are harder, because where most people see like one answer, I see many, and I'm unsure what answer is the correct one, and if I ask, I feel like a stupid.
This is a issue for me. I need someone to tell me why they are asking me to do something. That way I can hone in on the correct answer, and most efficient way to do it. So I know how to go about the objective given to me.
Following orders doesn't work with me, because I need to know why. I couldn't be soldier. I guess I'm more a leader, not a follower. I can follow if the person leading makes sense to me, but Irrational people tick me off.
I think I could be a shrink. I act like a Therapist for people around me sometimes. I've been Depressed before, and have issues with Anxiety, and I've spent a great deal of time studying myself on why I feel a certain way. Once I understand, I can usually Deconstruct why I feel that way, and solve the underline reason, which then makes me feel normal again.
Being able to do that for myself, allows me to talk to someone, and see the problems in others, and help them see it in themselves, and help them overcome it.
I can't do small talk. I see it as people lying, and being fake. Too many people are fake, and shallow, and I can't stand being around people like that. It makes it hard for me to start a conversation with someone, because when you don't really know someone, you don't know what serious topic to talk about. I don't know the questions to ask, because I don't care enough to know the answers.
It's much easier for me to understand something by someone showing me, or listening to someone else, being more in the say, 3rd person role, than being the 1st person role. If I'm the one directly doing something, I slow down, I have too many thoughts. Though, once I fully understand what I'm doing, when I know all the variables, I'm very fast, and very efficient. I could easily teach someone else how to do it.
If someone screws with my way of doing something, it stops me. If they are asking me to do something in a less practical way, I get really irritated. I've had many Managers do this to me. They have to come in, and tell me what to do. They don't go into detail, and if you ask them to explain, they get mad, like I was question their authority. If I try to explain why I think what I'm doing is the better way, they don't want to hear it. Which always leaves me in a place I don't like. It just doesn't work with my mental programming.
I had a great manager, who would just give me a list of things to do. He didn't care what I did, as long as by the end of my day, I completed everything on the list. It gave me the freedom to do it my way, and be as Efficient, or not. as I wanted to be. To plan how to reach my goal. I loved that.
Weighing me down with a bunch of illogical rules is not a place I handle well. I need things to make sense, and I need things to be more exact. So there is only one answer. If you want me to do something, you need to be exact, or explain to me why you want me to do something, so I know what the correct answer is. People make things so difficult sometimes. Because I see more than one possible answer, and I'm left trying to figure out what they really wanted me to do. Which makes me stuck, because I don't want to be wrong, and make a mistake.
I think of myself as rather simple, and easy to get along with, as long as I understand. If you have no consideration for me, when I ask questions, there will be a impasse. So take a few minutes to explain when I ask you something. Once I understand all the variables, you'll never have to explain anything to me again. I could teach it. I just start a bit slower, but once I get going, I'm gone!
So people think I'm stupid because of that slow start. I have a problem with that, because it makes me feel stupid as well. Because I don't understand how so many people understand what the correct answer is so quickly.
I guess that's what experience really is. Knowing the correct answer, and not seeing a bunch of possible answers. Never thought of experience that way before.
If I had someone with a ton of experience show me how to do something, I sort of record it. I'm like a mimic. I can copy what someone else does, and a lot of times, even understand why they do it that way, and once I understand something, I can do all kinds of things with it.
Well, hope this helps figure out what Personality type I am.

  • @ashleyching5786

    Feeler:
Kind, authentic, considerate, true to identity
More upset if not more like this
    T:
Truthful, logical, efficient, optimize and be the best you can be, upset if inaccurate and facts that they believe to be true, upset if lack of thought
When do you feel most like yourself?
At work (getting stuff done), hobbies
or in relationships talking to people 1:1
Persuaded by compelling story or mountain of facts? Grounded in personal experience/moral vs deductive reasoning
