With no leaks you may need to adjust the wastegate/tcv. What was essentially a boost leak is now directed through the turbine generating better flow of hot exhaust gas. Will spool faster and potentially more.
Volvo used slotted holes on the bottom row of manifold. So you can thread the bottom bolts and gasket in place then slide the manifold on. And put the top ones in. Much easier then trying to hold a gasket or gaskets in place. And for exhaust manifold there all studs with individual gaskets. Lot of guys use the one piece instead.

I started watching your channel back when you first built the EG turbo as well. After the video where you broke down the cost, I decided to go NA. Ever since then, I swear it was the best decision I ever made. 😂 glad to see the EG whooping ass, though. I just could never afford this life. All that being said, I hate drag-racing so I like the track content better but it’s hard to balance a lot of track content because it can get monotonous, fast. Drag-racing is fast and keeps the ADD people happy.
Would love to see that built engine on the EG put out the power it’s capable with your setup. But after the EG is finally putting out some power I would love to see you learn to drive track on the EK and progress your skill and the car
I like the eg more but I’m into road course racing more. So anything really, and I think time lapses are good depends on the situation, but they definitely work for your content
Content wise, do both I’m excited to see the ek track build and the in-depth stuff done with the built ls vtec and the other eg stuff civic things and maybe shop updates is what we need. In my opinion
Ive got a built cammed D16 on methanol and 93, what do you think would cause it to start running rich all the sudden? AFR around 12-13 idle and pulls 1000cc injectors

If you're talking about the EG currently it is just a stock GSR motor with a ported intake manifold he did have a fully built b18 but it started taking / knocking so he pulled it out and just put the stock GSR motor in for now

try using copper spray on the metal gasket.. works great and prevents any exhaust leaks
Use studs instead bolts and use a Mr. Gasket copper gasket for the manifold 👍

Good idea to run torque mounts with inserts if struggling with axle pop out these Control engine side to side movement and are huge benefit

Hey man just found your channel. If your bolt keeps backing out or you end up loosing more thread I'd recommend getting a helicoil kit for your hole.
