AMMO NYC hey man let them hate me personally I’m thankful that thanks to you I have kept my car paint in good condition and I always learn something new every time I watch your videos
Larry, I have a 99 Avalon and have never cleaned it, I have it for over 2 years. I’ve binge watched your channel for the last 72 hours as I’m so anxious to clean my car. I have a couple questions and will try to formulate them so as not to take too much of your time. I love the work you do!
Little over 20 yrs in this game and you still can always learn something new. (What actually etched paint from bugs) never to old to learn.... Thats why I love your videos man. Tks
Good thing i came across this channel two years ago when i bought my first car. Thank you for sharing your detailing skills. I’m fan of your channel from the Philippines btw..
Thank you for your awesome videos. Finally got the chance to do a full wash on my new truck with the ammo regimen. Absolutely the best wash I've ever had on a vehicle. I keep walking out into the garage to admire how good it looks :)
Hey Larry, detailer here and a photography/Cinematographer enthusiast! I just wanted to say to combat the auto-focusing issue, your best bet is to record those parts in manual focus. Also I I feel a polarize filter would help as well with the reflections fighting the auto-focusing. There are ND/PL filters that are hybrids that can help with the sun exposure, sun glare, and deep reflections. Other than that, I've been watching your videos since almost the beginning!
Larry you worry about the comments too much. Keep doing your thing, learn so much from you watching these vids, your knowledge and experience is invaluable! Just do you and post what you want to post, ignore the minutia that people pick up on, we get ya 👍 Thanks for all the great content 👏👍
do the same but on a freshly polished car without any damage, swirls etc and show under light to see if either did any real world damage to the paint/clear. Love the vids Larry thanks for all your dedication and hard work.
I just wanted to take a second to say thank you for all the helpful info. You are a true professional at what you do and how you handle yourself. You Tube has thousands of half ass auto detailing videos that I don’t trust at all. Your videos are a huge step above anything else I have seen. I feel confident in what you are saying, and I can really trust the info and procedures that you are teaching us. Once again you are a true professional and I really appreciate all the time you have put into your videos. I can’t put a price on all the good and trustful information I have learned from you. I hope to try out some of your products in the future. Best wishes to you and your family!!! Thanks again!!!
Frothe and the aerator, the dynamic duo! I will be taking them with me when I head down to the Tail of the Dragon in 6 weeks, along with a gallon of Frothe pre-mixed in a gallon jug and many, many towels. It's not a carshow down there but I like to clean as I go and this system is unbeatable!
I can't imagine any hate toward you and your products. I believe your projects are the best. They are expensive but the best. And you are so humble. Thank you for being part of the detailing community.
G'day Larry, always enjoy your videos, not just for the way you show how you should do a particular thing, but your total explanation on why you do it that way. I'm one of those people who wants to know why you do something a particular way when introduced to something new. Just saying this is the way you do it and not explaining why is a big miss in my book. Ozz from Sydney, Aust.
Since I have been living in an apartment for the past 2 years, I have been trying tons of ways to keep my car clean. Always been afraid to create more swirls and scratches to the paint. But I need to keep things easy to carry bucket and tools to the parking lot and also keep the place clean and not messy. Love your videos Larry, wish I can have those aerator and products here in Indonesia.
Excellent video thank you for explaining everything in detail. If I used any of these methods I'd be spending the next week trying to remove water spots. You can't dry a black truck fast enough to prevent them period.
Fantastic video!!! I have a VW Golf, black, very hard to keep clean, but I can. Where the keeper, under ecological shingles, sometimes happens to release a substance, that when coming into contact with the painting of the car causes the dreaded "Crow's feet". Unfortunately my car has some spots like this, and I already researched it and I know that it is only possible to fix these defects by repainting the piece. So when I use the vehicle, about 2 times a week, I have to clean it when I get home and cover it. This video is perfect for me, because I leave with the car clean and when it arrives it is only slightly dirty and does not need a wash with water. I will use the products I have available here in Brazil, dry cleaning, to clean the car the way you demonstrated, it is very fast! One day I still buy your products, especially the spray bottle. Hug.
I have got to try the FROTHe on my Subaru Crosstrek. I haven't had time in the last 4 months since my daughter was born to get outside and do a full 3 bucket wash more than once. It looks like a life saver for someone who is really busy but still wants their car to look amazing. Love your videos and how much you explain everything!
Lately I’ve washed my ST by using the Hydrate method, BUT I also foam cannon the car & then rinse it. Power washing helps blast off any bugs, cannon soap helps break down & release the dirt, then I Hydrate for drying.
I've been watching your videos for a few years now (since the one where you clayed that dirty clk :) ) and it has motivated me to spend more time cleaning and maintaining my car. I want to thank you for that plus your videos are just way ahead everyone else that i've watched. Keep it up :)
Voice of the customer response video. Nice work and thanks always. Let’s get some in car track videos soon, I won’t bust your chops if you miss to many apex’s. Cheers 🍸

@@TheBaz568 I can't find any for the GT350R yet, otherwise I would In a heartbeat. Thanks for the recommendation! I'll check to see if they have them yet.
I really appreciate your videos and I've been following your channel for nearly a year and learned so much. I live in the UK so getting the products shipped here is just not a viable option for me. Seeing how you use Frothe gave me the idea to try a similar foam maker pump with my local Waterless wash product (Prokleen) and it really makes cleaning the car quicker and seems safer than just spraying the solution. Keep up with the fantastic work Larry. God bless.
Interesting comparison.👍🏼 I think the no water method is better for me since the well water supply is so hard here, we get stubborn water spots all over the car in 2 minutes from our water.
If the dirt/contamination is at this level or less, then a good detailer spray and microfiber towels are generally, all that’s necessary. The job would not only be done faster, but there’s no water, soap, or the extra towels used. 👍🏻 So you can save time, money (cost of extra products), hassle, product, water; but also product exposure to your body, and to the environment. I fold a clean or new microfiber towel in half or quarters, coat the towel surface thoroughly with detailer, the body surface also, then just wipe clean. Done. A separate towel for the wheels. This is what detailing sprays are made for, and they work quite well.
Don’t give the haters any of your time or energy. I highly doubt there are many people anywhere, let alone dopey TH-cam commenters, that are qualified to criticize your game. BTW, I think you sold me on that aerator. That’s just what I’m looking for.
Good vid, the water requirement difference is negligible, because you'll still need to clean all the towels, which is actually even harder if you do it by hand ;)
Just discovered this from ecdetails video. Looks amazing looking forward to trying! Just wish in video u would slow down that roll with towel down the panel.
Another amazing video, Larry! Hope to purchase some of your products when my next paycheck arrives :) Keep up the great work! Greetings from a huge fan from Norway :D
Ammo needs to get in the retail stores. Saw some chemical guys stuff the other day. Skipped them bought Megs. Would spend money on ammo if it was readily available.
I have a question, when will your product be available in the local Advance Auto or Walmart? Or is it already available there? Thank you for sharing. Your videos are great to watch and learn from.
I have the aerator and frothe love the stuff my question is is it safe enough to use on anodized rims dont get me wrong plum is absolutely amazing but for a quick wash can I use frothe on the rims. Your product is the only that touches my car love your stuff
Thank you Larry! My thought is that, I use Frothe and go through the waterless car wash for winter times and when I don't have time to towel it off but I have to get my car clean. Would that work ok?
Never ever use flex fuel on that vehicle. I have a 2015 Ford Focus Titanium. I used it twice and it gummed up the injectors. I was told after the service too never use e85 or e15 ever!!. Anyway love your videos.
Looks great! When spraying the car with Spray Frothe, is it ok to get the product on ceramic composite brake rotors when spraying the wheels? Does the product have silicone or oils in it?
Great video's as always, but i was wondering if you have a recommendation on removing very sticky tree sap droppings from paint surface or if you advise any certain products to use for removing tree sap?
I love your analogies. Here’s mine: likening soaking the dried bugs on the front the car to reconstituting dried porcini mushrooms in hot water before making a risotto. Does that make sense?
Hey Larry, I was wondering when Ammo Reflex will be back in stock. I know it's been out of stock for a while and I've had to use alternatives for customers cars but they aren't nearly as easy to apply as Reflex. Could you possibly be working on a new formula? Thanks!
I was watching another pro detailer and he talked about the water source at his house being conditioned with a softner, RO and Filtration because he does a lot of cars at his house. Do you think that conditioning or filtering the water you use is important? I know it's a trade off but I'd like to hear your take on its importance in your opinion.
Ammo NYC this frothy device can be used for winter cleans? Where I live we get cold winters and have to turn off the exterior water. So I was wondering if you recommend this for those months? Or if you have another way to do it? I’m just like you in having my car perfectly clean year round. I don’t want to cause any swirls. :/ or at least any major scratches from being improper. EDIT: if it helps it rains a lot here too.
Keep up the great work Larry! Your videos have taught me a lot. I have a set SSR EX-C wheels from the 80s. And the inner side of the barrel is horridly caked on break dust. Any suggestions?
I don't have an airator (spelling) and power washer. For a thorough (non-quick) wash, would you suggest I stick with what I've been doing? Spray down a section, gently go over that section with a towel that's dripping a sudsy soap, let it sit for a couple minutes, spray it down, go back over that section with the soapy towel with more force this time, then spray down again? Thanks.
I do not have a power washer and all I replay use is microfiber cloths, my hose, and 1 bucket full of soap. If I scrub everything with the soap after spraying it down should i use a microfiber with the soap still on or should I spray it down then use the microfiber. Thanks
What does it mean to ‘Hydrate the left over Frothé’? Did you add it to the aerator or did you do a normal Hydrate on the microfibre cloth and wipe it down?
I live in a municipality that completely prohibits washing cars with anything other than JUST WATER in driveways. Other than spending 10-20 dollars at a car wash, what would you suggest?
Hi, Mr. Larry in one of your video, you said you are experimenting using microfiber towel instead of wash mitt to wash a car. Did you find any difference between them? i was waiting for explaining video on those.
I have a question about my Ford 350 cab on my RV. I care for this with car products and not RV products. I use chrome cleaner/wax on bumper, but what should I use on the grill which feels like plastic?
Larry, I have to say that every since I had started to watch your videos, they were always for the purpose of the future protection of my dream Audi TT mk1. Well, I have to say that after years of saving I managed to get one... unfortunately in silver, so the effect of detailing is never the same as on darker coloured cars... BUT thanks to your knowledge, it's 18 year old paint looks a million times better than any other newer silver paint on the streets. I must admit that a meticulous detail is never as satisfying as I would hope so, as the various particularities of the car (struts, wheel wells, rims, exterior plastics) are just worn out to such a degree that no detailing accomplishes perfection. Nevertheless, thanks for all your videos and always keep your work and cheerful attitude up!
Hey curious 🤔 so I seen you coat the vehicle with foam but didnt rinse after, you used the soap as a cleaning agent of course so I'm assuming you dont always have to rinse after for a maintenance wash?
ok but how do you clean the towels? do you carry 50 or 100 packs of towels? do you wash it with viniger or special soap can you walk us through that process? do you use your home washer and dryer do you have something else instead?
Hey larry. Could you explain how long you usually take to polish a car. For example the time it takes to do a 1 step or a 2 step etc etc. And could you also make a video on how to be as efficient with time as possible? I did my first whole car correction yesterday and it took me 10 hours to do a whole car with just a finishing polish doing 3 section passes a section. This seems like a heck of a whole lot of time compared to what read online about how some people can do it in 3-4 hrs. Could you give some tips. Thanks !
Larry, can we do something about a scratched plastic chromes? It seems that polishing it is just not enough. It's is difficult to removed the scratch. I don't think there is a way. Hope you can help. Thanks. - Rudolph
I have been washing my cars with your techniques for years...since the original black Audi R8 video days. One quick question: Can I add a layer of reflex on top of skin if I am already multiple layers deep with good stuff? Larry, the Tesla Model X is looking amazing but still would love to see one in an episode sometime soon. Any Tesla actually! Good day.

Hey Larry.. Ever detail any Harleys? Thats my specialty ,and would love to see your take on doin one, thanks!
🇨🇦 LOVES YOU!
Good day.
Reflex doesnt play well on top of SKIN. Need to remove the SKIN, then add more Reflex. Or just add more SKIN at this point
NIcely done and thorough....thanks !!
