There is another good mower saved. It's too bad the other one cratered but when you run er low on oil that's what happens. Once again, without spare parts it would be too expensive to repair. Good save. Thanks Dave. Stevo

Thanks stevo. People get lazy with oil checking. And then always wonder why it blew up but they keep me in business LOL

I had an old Husky before I bought the zero turn. You couldn't kill the thing. The Kawasaki was a great engine, but the deck was getting bad, and all the pulleys and belts needed replacing. It just wasn't worth it to fix a machine that old. But it was the nicest driving lawn tractor I ever drove. It turned really short and was really comfortable to operate. Not so sure about the new stuff though. Great job on the repower, the tractor is in great shape. Take care

Thanks John. Everything used to be made better. They just don't care about product anymore, just money. Husqvarna used to be a good mower. Just like my cub cadets I get a lot of flack for. The years I use were made decent but not any more

I call it “Frankensteining” when you use zip ties to repair cracked plastic. I also cover zip ties with epoxy on both the inside and out side for even more strength/holding power.

@@davessmallenginerevival2847 I’m glad it was worth your time. Somebody got a good mower with a solid Briggs in it.

That thing started right up like it was new. Runs like new. A husqvarna would not be my first choice though. lol

Thanks Bob. Not mine either but I shouldn't talk, I get a lot of flack for liking cub cadet. I only like before 2010. They got pretty cheap after that. People seem to really like these Husqvarnas I must say

Great job on the repower, that looks and sounds like a good engine. Have you taken the old engine apart to see what the problem was?

Thank you Joseph. Oh it's always the same old story, they run it out of oil until the connecting rod starts seizing to the crankshaft , then breaks into pieces
