- Reviewing the Acer Nitro 5 with a intel i5-12500H processor and a RTX 3050 Ti GPU. Its performance is on the top but there's a few things could have been done better too. Let me give you the full review of this budget laptop, and see if this is the best budget gaming laptop at this price range!

Nice review! exactly what i was looking to seeing for this laptop, i should be getting this soon as my first gaming device other than my playstation. Overall, it looks worth it and the fps on the games is something i had been wishing other channels reviewed, keep up the good work!

I was looking at this and the MSI GF63 thin, but I almost chose the MSI then I decided to go with the Acer Nitro 5 RTX 3050 10300H because I had an Acer laptop before, which I was impressed with it. It will be my very first gaming laptop to own; I'm looking forward to it.

4K no. but normal OBS yes.
Is the hinge durable on the new Acer Nitro? My son have a 2 year old acer gaming laptop but the hinge have started to worn-out causing display issue. Going for the Asus this time. Looking to purchase the ASUS Strix G17 Ryzen 7/RTX3060. Thanks for the detail review.
Asus has pretty solid machines too.
all it takes is a bit of care when handling the laptop and hinges would last quite long
Hi! What was the room temperature during game test and did you use any kind of cooling pad?
no cooling pad, and it was around 75F.
I have this machine. Got it for cheap, $679 on black friday. I get to video edit and game occasionally too. Funny that a $2500 MacBook Pro can't really game, but a cheap gaming laptop can. The screen is way better on the MacBook Pro though.

Most of them have 57whr battery.
You shouldn't play games on battery anyway...always keep it connected..

I have the same version, i5-12500h,rtx3050ti,16gb ram,144 hz display 2022 model acer nitro 5 but mine has red colour only, can i change the keyboard manually?
You can change it color within their software.

those software will be little bit too much for this laptop.
Well i bought already and right now i am on premier pro it is Look working well for now, i dont know for biggest projects :)

it doesn't have it. but, You don't necessarily need the MUX switch to get the most out of your laptop's GPU.
Mux switch only on 3060 and above variants..oh but legion has mux on every variant

No, when your external monitor is larger and higher resolution, you will get least FPS.

Good review enjoyed the information , after trying to buy a dell direct and had delays after delays i gave up trying to purchase from them so i ended up with the Acer AN515 - 58 - intel i7 - 16gb upgradable to 32gb and 502 memory again upgradable with a 2.5 ssd in the spair slot , Had it for two weeks the colours a big improvement over the Dell although screen is a little dark, hate windows 11 might downgrade to win 10 overal they have an all black case now 2022 the red bits have gone battery life is not the best but its used at home only so no problems so far, This is an impressive machine and future prooved for a few years so im a happy bunny , one finger salute to Dell direct they lost a sale customer service they dont no the meaning of the word.

@@RyanYu NVIDIA 60 series RTX, plus it has its own internal gpu when the RTX is not required , not sure what Acer fits though, proformance wise its very impressive but still trying things , not heard the fans yet so I must try harder Lol. Please note I am not very tech savvy at 76 years old its my 4th pc starting with a celeron then i3 , i5 , now i7, I doubt if i will ever be able to afford a i9 This laptop was on offer at E-BUYER UK @£930gbp and acer direct was priced at £1250.
