Thanks for the Wednesday tip on correctly aligning the tailstock on the lathe John. - I did mine today and its running true now. Until I watched your video I'd never seen anybody explain how to do that adjustment. - I'm going to check the lathe in work on monday... I'm sure that works machine has been out of true for years... haha Top man.
To anyone sitting on the fence in regards to supporting John on patreon, Ive been happily supporting him since he started his patreon page. The quality and the amount of content he makes available cant be beaten. Id highly recommend doing it because you really are getting value for money, especially compared to other larger youtubers. Also hit the subscribe button its costs nothing.
As I said in the video before this one, you put the stud in to stay. A few years ago "Recruit, work that Brasso until that brass shines do much you can see your reflection."
Nice job on the "Fast" stud fit, looks like previous female thread was truncated? Nickel based anti-seize is excellent, expensive though. Good luck on attaining 100K

Top man.
I relate most to John dropping something and saying "bastard."
Oh ! That EUREKA moment when a stud gives up to a good talking to. Never gets old for me👍👍👍
Don't forget the added bonus of the owner not making a mess of things by trying to remove the studs himself.
Split dies are a wonderful luxury. Not as many in the toolbox as I’d like (yet). The Anchor Lube is working well enough; no regrets on its purchase.
Excellent videos John, keep them coming 👍🏻👍🏻
What a wonderfully uninhibited photo of you and Deborah at the end. That shot could win prizes.

Impressive work John!
Good to see you in person at the NEC. Good to have a chat about lathes👍
Good fix John.
hi John, just an observation, the shortest end (length) of a standard stud should be 1.25 x the diameter of the stud when in a blind hole.
Thanks I will look into my huge drawer of dies and see if there are any split dies amongst them.
I absolutely love the picture of your charming wife at the end. Her unbrideled joy is contagious.

Great video John, keep'um coming.
Thanks John
great job lad as always keep up the great work
Very nice work mister
Did anyone else say "bastard" with him, when he dropped the tap handle?
Yes, every time 😂
I came here to say that...

a job well dun
0:10 surely the studs are 'seized' although I guess they must be a size too!
Piss, wobbly, slack good name for a race horse or a plumbing company.
You should just work on the floor given all your tools and parts end up there :-)
