- A music system in Destiny is when a piece of music is edited into dozens of short files and then restructured into various intensities that can be called in the game. These intensities usually include ambient, tension, action, and high action.
This is the music system composed and remixed for the Verity raid encounter in Salvation's Edge.
Chapters:
0:00 - 0_default
2:55 - 1_tension
5:49 - 2_action
9:11 - 3_high_action

Sorry for the reupload. Accidentally used stripped down segments for the "action" intensity at the start that were missing things like pyramid and hive synths. This has been fixed.
-Breshi
Also the high action has one more flute solo (now two in a row) ;)
"This part they're just making some shapes, very basic stuff. Squares, Triangles etc. the music doesn't have to go too hard"
The music:
Should just be called the Insane Asylum White Room Music
The fact it’s white bungie knew what they were doing making this encounter
The screen looking like it came off a projector is the cherry on top
its there, in the corners of my eyes... the true layout of the room! I swear I'm not insane!!! I just need a triangle!!!!!!
@@emera1d470reminds me a greek philosophy dilemma about cave and shadow figures that people see on the wall of the cave

Honestly this is one of my favorite encounters because of just how…unsettling the whole thing is. The fact that this eldritch being is making us play with basic shapes, the creepy darkness of the room being visible on the corners of your screen, having to break the 4th wall in order to dunk Ghosts at the right statues…it’s the most creative encounter we’ve ever had and it more than anything else made me feel like we don’t belong here
Genuinely, the best encounter in a raid of all time. Only the vault comes remotely close
I think it's the best encounter ever as well. Vault second and Death Zamboni third.
10:33
// They understand!
|| Silence! They mustn't interfere!
10:46
[[ Impossible. ]]
|| Yes, it is impossible! Anomalous!
[[ The anomaly must be purged. ]]
11:58
// Yes! Free us! Free us...
|| Not yet! We are so close!
[[ WE ARE SO CLOSE TO PERFECTION ]]
This has some of the most intense buildup of any of the Destiny soundtracks
It really does!!
11:59 this has to be my most favorite destiny main theme in a long time. so so good.
8:35 is my favorite portion of music from this entire raid. Love the heroic strings when you're finally putting everything together and rejoining your team.
11:22 the uncertainty in the strings sound like the witness going "Ah feck they're figuring it out" or "they're getting out"
Where does the square peg go? The square hole
Where does the circle go? The square hole
Where does the triangle go? The square hole.
"Guys I have 3 shapes on my wall what do I do"
Oh…oh god…
Best non-boss raid encounter since Vault in Last Wish. Of course it has the best music since Macrocosm in Root of Nightmares.
They really knew how to put pressure during that 3rd phase ngl
The “first grade arts and crafts” encounter has surprisingly amazing music
Joking aside once mechanics were down it’s a super fun experience, similar to vault and Riven in that regard
Nah it's still pretty hard even with calcs/strat figured out. Issue, compared with the vault, is that it's obvious what you did wrong in the vault. If you died depositing - it means it's the opposite of your eye of riven attunement.
But here there are so many non obvious things like when knights/ogres stop to spawn, wall lagging behind or situation when in the process someone put wrong shape and then having it extremely hard to untangle back what's the problem/the higher than usual penalty for dying in the solo rooms with random player swapping dead one.
Also that you can explicitly assign people for roles in the vault and in the Verity you need to jump hoops to have the outside person doing 3d shapes always being the same/people in the solo rooms are always random. Imagine if vault had 3 people randomly marked after each cycle who can read the vault and if some of them died the vault penumbra/antumbra would change.
@@63Limar mechanically speaking the encounter is complex, but it’s not terribly difficult once you’ve learned em. Conversely it’s really easy to mess up. And unlike in vault where there’s room for some error, pretty much any mistake by anyone is a wipe. So I see your point, I may not find it hard but that’s anecdotal
12:35 the amount of stress making sure we get our ghosts and guardians correct on the last part of the encounter
C'mon which ghost do you have no not there who has the spiky helmet?! nooo don't clump up!
8:00 and 12:00 "The Guardians make their own fate."
One of the coolest pieces of raid music we've gotten ngl
8:36 makes me ❤️❤️😻😻😻😻😻🥺🥺😮😮😮😮🫡😻
omg hugo cameo. hi ceo of thrallway
I dare say one of the greatest video game tracks ever produced
im ngl after really listening to this track i honestly think this is one of bungies best destiny songs even the opening you haven't even started the encounter and its a banger
This IS Bungie’s best work. And I dare say one of the greatest video game tracks ever produced
@@PhotonBread i agree seriously tho like ive tried to show my friends just how amazing this song is and they think its just alright i absolutely love this part in ambient 1:50 and i love how it repeats at the climax of the song at like 11:57 yea like i genuinely think this is one of if not the best song they have made
I love this raid music so much, this entire encounter is amazing.
This Phase is insane my brain cooked
8:29 Best Part
guys its TSC
I'll dissect triangle for left
Send me a circle, who needs a square?
@WraithVessel I do, then ill be alligned
okay we're good, give shapes to the other statues
I’ll dissect middle square
This track got me doing the stanky face it goes so hard
hey Breshi, could you do Ritual Site? the music for the Witness fight in the campaign?
Yes please
Hey, @destiny_music_archive do you by any chance the actual name of the D2 Warmind DLC main menu theme ? I want to get it on spotify.
I am quite certain that it is called "A god on Mars", but feel free to correct me
It is indeed A God On Mars but I believe the Warmind (and also Curse of Osiris) soundtracks are not on Spotify
@@Arcs9160 @antares8826 thanks for that. Sad to know that Bungie never brought those albums on Spotify.
Yeah the year 1 soundtracks are only available if you rip them or buy forsaken’s ost on the bungie store and they come as a bonus.
Do you know the name of the song in the excision cutscene. It gave me chills
You're probably talking about Make Your Own Fate
Edit: wait, cutscene. The ink one? I'm not sure, I'll let you know if I figure it out
@tuoritto ya its the cutscene before they put you in the 12 player cutscene. The one where zavala is doing his speech before the big fight
@@Shawnyblu2 oh, that one. I'm not gonna lie, no fucking clue...
@@Shawnyblu2 Its a mix of a Final Shape track and Inner Light. What that Final Shape track is idk. Could be multiple Final Shape tracks tbh.
SCT
Is this not on the ost on spotify?
Its called Give Yourself To Darkness
Out of my 10 years of being a guardian, this is the only raid encounter I had to skip
Literally not that even hard though
Once ya figure it out you never have to again but yeah I get it
That’s pretty sad. It’s complex yes but if you have to skip it you shouldn’t be raiding. Stick to patrols and strikes
@@TargetSniper365 notice how he said only encounter. He knows how to raid lol stop trying to be an elitist because he doesn’t haven’t on lock yet
You should learn it man, its one of my all time favourites
