I only watch fishing videos cos i suck at fishing 😂 but i enjoyed working out where this spot was based off the clues. Anyways i got to jet, thanks for the vid!
Boom, Boom, very nice start to your challenge. Didn't like seeing that guy cleaning all that rubbish into the creek, grrrrr! Couple more nice catches on the back end, well done Mick!
Cheers mate, I was really happy with this session, especially considering it was the first time trying this place 👍 Ahhh yeah that rubbish made me very angry, why I wasn't too quiet about filming him hahaha Cheers mate 👍
Haha that's so cool mate, nice little Bass session... I go past that body of water quite often on the goods trains and have wondered if there were Bass in there. Thanks for the content.
Cheers mate, definitely some fish in there and apparently some real good ones too... Cheers for watching and leaving a comment mate, much appreciated 👍
Cheers mate, Bass are a sports fish to me, I have eaten them in the past but I prefer to see them swim off... On my Next video, I do a catch and cook with a trout 👍 Cheers for watching and leaving a comment mate
Good work mick! Heard anything else about that oil leak? There’s an outbreak up here in the ocean of oil…. A pipe has started leaking It’s bloody disgusting… anyway, awesome fishing as always! Keep up the great work! Tight lines bro! 🎣🎣
Cheers mate, yeah it was great session first time trying a new location. As for the oil situation! on that video there is a subscriber leaving comments about it, he went kayaking down river a few ks and found all the oil/chemical trail, still moving down river... Not good to hear about the oil spilling into the ocean up there... Appreciate it, tight lines mate 🎣
Think I may of looked at that pond previously, just can't be sure, still haven't got to Penrith yet, definitely need a bass session soon bro p.s awesome content as always buddy
It's definitely possible mate, I have scoped it out for some time and always wanted to try it, then I was told by a mate there was definitely Bass in there. I had work around the corner and finished early enough to give it a crack, glad I finally gave it a go. I would still give it a few weeks mate, the water temps are still a little low, if it's a hot day though the afternoon should still fish well at the moment 👍
@@bushfishncook2128 I will solidify. Maybe hit Damo up and see if he wants to tag along. Dunno if he has ever caught bass before. He would have a ball on them, I reckon.
I had scoped it out for a long time and it was great to finally give it a go 👍 Never pass up fishing any water in my opinion, I have found fish in the strangest places... Cheers mate
Cheers mate, good to see you posting again, I've been flat out with work but keen to catch up 👍 It's always nice to explore a new spot and get a few fish.
Damn ur good!! thats a great start for the season. Also I noticed u always use surface lures for bass, do u think they work better or u justt prefer it more.
Cheers mate much appreciated 👍 So I usually always start with surface and the reason for that is, even if you don't get a topwater hit, it fires the fish up, so once you get end up swapping to something like a beetlespin, they are usually there waiting to smash it... But I definitely love that topwater bite 👍 Cheers for the awesome comment as always legend
It really depends mate, everyone has their favourite, I'm using a Daiwa kicker curly frog in the bigger size with a 4/0 weedless hook... I have also done really well on the smaller kicker curly with the 1/0 hook, I lost a few trophy size fish on that hook last year though, when fishing structure or weed beds I'm on 16lb, with a locked drag so the 4/0 is best in that situation. If I fish a lake that doesn't have a heap of weeds, I usually just fish light with the smaller frog or a jig spinner size 2, on a 1/8oz jig head and a grub or paddle tail as the trailer. Hope that gets you onto a few mate, the jig spinner aka beetlespin is a great place to start, just cast out and retrieve at a slow to medium pace 👍
Sorry mate, if I don't share the location in the title or in the video, then it's not a spot I'm willing to share, I have a few videos that name spots 👍 Cheers for watching mate

Ha, I knew it!! Great vid, have fished no luck tho, its a sewerage over flow, thats why it smells like shit 😂
I knew there was a sewage system there somewhere...
Absolutely stinks but was definitely worth the fish 👍
Cheers for watching mate
Always great to get a couple of good fish on the board early in the season to instil some confidence.
Hopefully they are firing hard when you make your way up mate 👍
@@bushfishncook2128 Maybe the weekend after next, I hope. Gotta pay for rego on the car this week, so next pay, probably.

Nice Bass straight up, Mick 👍🏼. I can’t picture where you are looking this time? That second and third fourth ones were rippers as well, mate.
Sydney city hahaha best I can do, it's pretty easy to find using google maps...
I'm glad I decided to switch to the Beetlespin 💪
Awesome I'm always looking for spots to fish clise to hone in Western Sydney is that part of the Georges River next to the M5
As a rule on the channel, I don't name locations unless it's in the title of the video, you are close though, I will give you that much 👍
All good buddy@bushfishncook2128
Nah it’s a lot further east
That was some nice fish you caught that session
