Just played this game for the first time in person, absolutely loved it! BGA implementation is good, but in person is so much better. Spinning the board and placing your cheese :) Can my favorite cheese be Fondue? I love a good fondue. Otherwise it's probably Brie (I eat the rind too).
Looks like an interesting take on the minigames euro style. How does it compare to games like Gugong or Trajan, I wonder? My favourite cheese is Halloumi. :)
Oh my favourite cheese is Swiss Le Gruyére. Description of the cheese in not my words: sweet and savoury Swiss Le Gruyère is distinctly nutty with a hint of caramel. This hard cheese melts very well, making it a classic choice for fondues, quiches and gratins.
French people do not eat the cheese rind of Camembert or so. But sure you can eat it. For many hard cheeses you take it away except of the ones with special rubs like flowers or so. Then you eat it too. Looking forward to playing fromage. Just ordered it.
The rinds of most cheeses are kind of bitter, so I don't eat them. But thank you for this explanation! I've been playing this on BGA and the Ville kept confusing the heck out of me. I never caught that it had something to do with the "customers" listed for each section. Hopefully I won't completely lose my next game now!
How did you get 14 points in Festival? It's 8 adjacent tents so 20 points, no? PS The fruit part threw me a bit because we get strawberry pieces and the 1st cost is a cut strawberry but we can move any fruit piece to either strawberry or jam equally(?) PS Quand recevons-nous les instructions en français ? ;)
12 points for the six red together and another 2 for the two on top! Whatever the cost is for fruit is where you move them. We don’t speak French sorry :(
MISTAKE: YOU DO INDEED GET TO FULFILL ORDERS FROM BONUS CHEESE FROM LIVESTOCK! I misread the rulebook my apologies!
Most excellent, just had my delivery notification for this, perfect timing!
Yesss! Let us know what you think when you play!
@@kovray will do, it's getting wrapped up as a Christmas present for my daughter, she's a cheese fiend!

So glad you’ve enjoyed the game! It’s such a good one :)
Fondue cheese is definitely superior!
Wisconsin is also famous for squeaky cheese curds.
Oooo very cool!

We sadly haven’t played either, but both are on our curiosity list :)
@@kovray Trajan is quite awesome. :)
Have this one waiting for me to pick up at home. Thanks for the quick how to play 😉
Hope you have the best time! Glad I finally got to meet you this weekend!
@kovray ditto! Have a great trip home

Glad we could help clear it up! The Ville is certainly an interesting mechanic!

@kovray aha pas de problème !
Merci 🙏
The rules clearly says you CAN use the bonus chees to complete orders. You must be wrong here.
You’re absolutely right! I’ll make a pinned comment when we’re back from the holidays. I completely read the now as you cannot, sorry about that!
Kinda Cheesey
