I heart when okc wins the championship we are going to fly out from CALI to the parade. I'm going to go to evey game they play here in LA with my thunder gear. 2 games at staples and t games at the clippers new arena.
Lol you better take I Hart off the free agency ticker you got at the bottom there. Thunder up! Glad we explored the klay option. We almost had a Harden for klay deal way back when, so presti always been an admirer. But I think I Hart was the better choice in the end. Hope that proves correct.
I couldn't be happier as a Warriors fan the last few years to see the back of Klank. All of the bad stuff about him is definitely true and the biggest issue for him and the team was his inability to accept that he wasn't the same player. He kept throwing tantrums but because of the history no one on the team was willing or able to hold him accountable. Eventually Kerr benched him but it was consistent and the team was still constructed like he was a viable no 2 option. Despite all the problems he does still have incredible value as a shooting threat and is guarded like few other players in the league. If he were finally able to humble himself and accept a smaller role and stick to spot up shooting then that would be perfect for the Mavs. But it would seem like it wasn't the money that swayed him nor even the years on the deal but the lure of going to a contending team and being given a prominent starting role. I know the mavs really lacked shooting in the finals but this move is going to make their terrible perimeter defence even worse. I genuinely hope it goes well for them but i suspect at some point Kidd is going to be looking to bench Klay as well because his abysmal defence makes it hard to justify his streaky shooting. I hope for their sake that they show him footage of the nice 2 man game he developed with TJD and just tel him to do more of that with Lively and Gafford.
Caruso and Hartenstein (and getting rid of Giddey) are the best choices for the Thunder hands down. So excited for next season. Not a fan of klay at all.

@@ThunderDigestYT - I thought you said SP looked into kt FIRST, got rebuffed, and THEN checked in on I-Hart. At any rate, after the gordon hayward debacle, and other missteps, I still think it's best--even tho SP is a proven winner--to not adopt the Sam-as- god outlook so many want to play it, as if they completely forgot about how we could have one or two banners already hanging in the arena.
Yeah he did, but we also know he was targeting Hartenstein. I think the plan was to try and bring both in, but realized he could not. So he had to pick one and went with Hartenstein

You’re looking at it wrong. Gives us either a true catch and shoot guy in the starting 5 or bench. It was only going to be done if we could get both Hartenstein and Klay, but we had to unload the bag on Ihart. Also the Gordon Hayward thing you mentioned. Do you not realize we would have no money to spend this free agency if we kept everyone we had? So no matter what the trade brought value. I will give you the whole HOF thing with our original trio. But you have to remember he was super young then. He had no clue what to do yet. He has learned. The Presti disrespect is insane when legit everything has worked out for us. We’ve had more success as a franchise in 18years of existence than some teams have ever had. This only happens because of our GM.
