Daaaaamn, nice~ Yeah, that double Scavenger's Talent was great and even one Talent in most games was really really good. I didn't realize how good it was :)
"I don't mind drafting otters" Actively avoids drafting a great otter deck. Haha, I think Numot got that rare green card tunnel a little hard here. It happens a lot in bloomburrow due to the bulk of strong green rares in the format. (Haven't watched the full video yet. Watch me eat my words as he goes 7-0)
@@ThisIsToXiN haha, I can say with some degree of confidence that otters are actually pretty strong. I've trophied pretty highly, percentage-wise, with otters.
I thought scavenger's talent was a way to self mill to turbo power forage abilities... this deck was really wacky with two of them targeting an opponent though!
Artist's Talent isn't bad if you have pingers like Coruscation Mage or the 1/3 Lizard Otter. UR otters can really play like a combo burn deck and Artist's Talent fits that plan well.
I guess I miscounted. Yea he would survive at 1. I wonder if he just wanted his next game cause this one was basically over or didn’t notice he could pop a food

Notably, Scavenger's talent CAN be sacrificed to it's own third ability, and it WILL see itself be sacrificed. Meaning, if your opponent has 6 cards in library and you have 2 other nonland perms and a fully leveled talent, you can sac all 3 to the ability and mill for 6.
@@Jerupitus He's probably talking about 1:06:00, where there were 2 talents on board and one of them could be sacrificed to the other's ability, but both would still trigger mills.
@@Aradalf They wrote "Talent can be sacrificed to its own third ability." This is not true. They also wrote "...you have two other nonland perms and a fully leveled talent you can sac all three to the ability and mill for 6." This does not lead me to believe they are talking about a situation where there are two talents on the board. They are simply incorrect.
This was a wild draft, I learned alot. Honestly watching your videos helps so much. Especially at my local brick and mortar mtg store.

Loving the bloomburrow drafties. Always excited when a new vid drops. Thank you Numot and family

He did a whole stream of forcing otters. I think he's suffered enough. 😂
By "great otter deck" do you mean a 2-3 otter deck? Because you will only go that far with an otter deck lol

@@ThisIsToXiN #1 mythic player trophies with otters hard. One of his preferred decks. Gotta play it as a tempo deck with a lot of cantrips.
@@andreidikranvasilescu6182 Who is that? I wouldn't mind checking out some good otter decks
in that final game i cant believe your opponent didnt blow up the talent, my god.

It's just so much of a mana investment - more fun than good imo
20:20 you didnt pass but hit, thats why you a daddy!
Final game is why you dont play scared 😅
39:51 Couldn't you have sacced a food rather than savor here to survive with 1?
Either way opponent just drew a glidedive from the cache grab
@TheTaego yes, even including that 2 damage from duo kenji survives with 1.

i had otter decks with 3 mythics and all the best instants and several of the lead otter uncommons and i ended 3-3 at best ... most often 2-3 xD
besa is so broken its by far teh best elemental xD
How many packs does he have saved up?
Slow to play but fast to concede. My least favorite kind of opponent
NEVER mill yourself when youre being screwed by draws. You will mill precisely what you need to draw and then go back to being screwed xD
