Supporting local farmers, keeps the money in the area. You dont want all the profits going to one group or one human.
Stupid is selling your land to a heartless multi-national mega corporation so they can install a government subsidized solar or wind farm only to abandon it in a decade. THAT is what is stupid! Dream on- economics, common sense, and history tell us that massive projects like this are a losing proposition ever single time in the long run. Production land lost is hardly ever regained. This is super interesting. I grew up on a farm 11 miles from St Francis. Calicrate must be about my age. Remember when they got several investors to start the feed lot. We butchered our own beef & hog every year, canned & grew a large garden. 11 milk cows with raw milk. Our hogs got 30 gallons of warm raw milk on top of cracked corn daily. Good life & didn’t take over from dad. Big mistake.
After that comment, I'm sure the U.S Justice Department will spend millions in tax dollars investigating you for saying it and finding out the names and addresses of everyone who watched this video and posted in the comment section here
Take back the power .The old system doesn't work . Referendums are the way to go or something similar whereby we ,the people can make decisions based on local community needs . Referendums means people power .

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Im sharing this TH-cam channel with all of my LOCAL Rural Leaders as well as our LOCAL Rural Businesses... Its up them to watch the videos but hopefully a seed or two will be planted.
Watching this reminds me a bit of a time I was in a small espresso store in Woodland Park. At the time the local retail stores were trying to block Walmart from coming in. The retail guys asked the espresso owner to join them in their efforts. He was like yep I will join and you guys can meet at my store. They were like oh Starbucks has already offered us a place lol.
This was truly the most prolific and informative classroom, business wise, and historical wise, that I've had the esteemed pleasure of being invited into .
Such a great topic! Plus when the corporations pay low wages and are allowed to hire part time workers they don’t have to pay benefits and can pay low wages which have to be subsidized with federal snap benefits. Horrible horrible system.
Years ago, when I graduated (1999) with a degree in agriculture in Oklahoma, I wanted to start a restaurant/farmers market so people could eat local beef and buy local produce, but I didn’t have the money to start it. I also believed, and still do, that restaurant employees and the producers could buy into the business so it would become a co-op, owned and operated by the employees and producers (ranchers and farmers).
This tells the hard facts story. The monopolies are killing this country. So one CEO CAN PUT 500, 000, 000.00 in HIS SAVINGS ACCOUNT over simplified but still true. Nut.....
So, the man has a what we use to call a co-op set up along with his business. That's awesome. I hope a lot of people see this video so they understand why they need to buy from the stores run by "small business owners" Yes, we may pay a bit more. But in the long run, we are supporting the people & businesses we are going to need to save our soils and food . We all need to stand up together to these big comp. Who wants to control the food market ect . The FDA is not doing their job by not requiring every chemical put into our food. We need to know because it also affects our unborn children. Some of these chemicals actually effect our DNA. Thank you for the informative video. It's so hard now to find people who aren't afraid to tell the truth. I would think the banding could be used on male pups also. Instead of the big Vet. Bill to neuter. We had a small farm I had goats. We banded the baby bucks. I appreciate the time and care you put into making your videos. 💜🕊
Thing is, most don’t go off of quality. The difference of a steak from Ranch Food Direct and from a local grocery is night and day. When/if you find a steak of the same quality, you will pay as much, if not more, and still won’t be supporting local small business. Far too many people go direct to price, and don’t consider quality when determining the value. Have worked directly with Callicrate Manufacturing, and knowing everyone involved, and with Ranch Food Direct, you can’t support a better group of people.
Very interesting story, I've used one of those banders we really liked it especially on bigger calves. I agree with you. We all need to buy local and try to stop making the GLOBALISTS richer.
We need less Government. These Rancher and Farmer are smart folks. BLM ? Look at our Forest are really being managed? Smart Men and speaking the TRUTH 😊 Love you Folks and Family 😊
@@gypsyHAASy So you're saying the BLM and Forrest service need to immediately cancel all land leases for livestock and make them pay market rates. Correct.
The call for less government is exactly how we've gotten where we are. The problem isn't how much government, or what government does, what matters is who's controlling the government. You see, "we need less government" is the Battle cry of Wall Street, as the government is the only one with the concentrated power to stand up to the corporations. Because the people in the world who actually work and build and move the products, have been convinced the government is our enemy, we have taken our hands off the wheel and let corrupt billionaires run the show, while soulless lobbyists write the legislation that makes it easier to for monopolies to expand, consolidate and destroy the fabric of our nation. So no, government is not the problem, the fact that people like you and I stopped viewing the government as by and for us, has done nothing but make us weaker and more fractured. I want ranchers in charge of the BLM, I want pig and chicken farmers in charge of the farm bureau, I want local independent grocers and nutritionists to be in charge of the FDA. If we had that, your legitimate grievances would become a thing of the past.
I no longer go to supermarkets as soon as they put in facial recognition that was a step too far .Now I'm circulating my money cinclocal shops and getting to know the local vibe .Farmers markets are also thriving here in NZ
I used to work for The Salvation Army as a cook. We got food delivered by Sysco. I will never forget inspecting the soup in plastic sealed bags, the bottom inch of the bag was nothing but roaches. Absolutely disgusting! Be careful what you eat.
Love what he is saying. One kink in his system. So many people in other markets are not receiving fare wages. So, they too get stuck in the corporate model bc they can't afford the increased cost for better food. It's sad that our own government has stacked the cards against all of us.
Kudos for this gentleman business practice. The root of the problem can be identified in the expression. It's not personal, it's business. It's a sociopathic expression.
Facts. Most Americans I understand are financially pinched. But if you want small businesses to be IN BUSINESS. You gotta be willing to pay a little more

This is a really good report. And I like the fact that it's making money and putting it back into the community. What you're talking about is. People that are on certain incomes that can't afford the prices that are being put on things that are made and produced in America. That's why they go to these stores. That have lower prices. Something has to be done about what is being priced. Soviet. The consumer cannot touch it because of the high price. The quality is there and it's good, but the price is too high. What time?
Corporate America is a monopoly. They are not selling you what you think you are sold. Example as the man said, they don't specify "pink slime" on the package because people like yourself going cheap won't even buy it.
I agree with your statement that business owners needs to be willing to grow wealth in a community (local markets) but politicians are making it very difficult.

Very eye opening and inspiring to want to create the same sort of model in my industry. I spent 20 years hauling livestock. I started out with speedway out of Holdrege Nebraska. Many different types of industry could benefit with this sort of mindset. Cradle to grave with local producers of inventory and workers.
What you both are saying is not only true but it's great to support our local farmers and companies. The problem is the prices are so HIGH us on a fixed income cannot always afford to. And to me that is the saddest thing!!!
The idea of 15 minute cities are circulating and im sure one day soon to be implemented. I belive food should come fresh and locally not from other countries
Yes please! Bring American made back! I would very much rather give my hard earned money to a local business than keep sending money to other countries. So tired of buying things made anywhere else but America. I love, and look for small family owned businesses to support. They're hard to find. Bring them back! I live in Colorado, I have some items delivered by a local farm. I love it! And looking for others to buy from, I would love to be able to buy everything I can from local small businesses. Including restaurants, etc.
I feel guilty when I have to shop at Walmart!! It's a shame that Americans and ranchers and farmers are steam rolled. If DC had term limits and not a place for them to get rich we American Patriots would have a better life and food products!
Blown away by this interview. Thank you for bringing up pink slime that destroys the gut in humans. Sad what is happening to our food supply for the average person shopping at grocery stores.

I think the farmers need to build power plants and operate indoor farms during the off seasons. The power plants can produce water, CO2 and fertilizers for the farms as well as other by products to supplement the business.

That's stupid. Make money on wind and sun and spend it in your community.

It is VITAL that we always vote in our LOCAL ELECTIONS. We have got to start rebuilding our local governments from the very lowest levels first and then we can work our way up to the higher levels from there. Collaborate with your family, friends, and neighbors and vote as a block in order to put good freedom loving American Patriots who share YOUR values into your local government.
In addition to this we must buy from local sources as much as we can. Our local mom and pop businesses need our support more now than ever. We need to come together as a unified body of RURAL PEOPLE who are committed to one another and are willing to stand together.

We need to take OUR country back!!
Take our country back from where.
Huge amount of information here. Our government needs to serve its citizens!
Take back the power .The old system doesn't work . Referendums are the way to go or something similar whereby we ,the people can make decisions based on local community needs . Referendums means people power .
The two men that started this are both in elderly generation, and we need young men to replicate what he has done. Mentoring instead of college was the way our generation kept the youth growing.
Citizens need to know who is the enemy and build accordingly. And sometimes they look like us.
We need to make govermment do its job. Write. Call. Force a change.
And lobbying for anything that isnt in our best interests must be stopped.
Lobbyists make all kinds of money too. This needs to stop.

Such a great topic! Plus when the corporations pay low wages and are allowed to hire part time workers they don’t have to pay benefits and can pay low wages which have to be subsidized with federal snap benefits. Horrible horrible system.

Love American companies doing the right thing.
You mean isreali companies 😂😂😂
Years ago, when I graduated (1999) with a degree in agriculture in Oklahoma, I wanted to start a restaurant/farmers market so people could eat local beef and buy local produce, but I didn’t have the money to start it. I also believed, and still do, that restaurant employees and the producers could buy into the business so it would become a co-op, owned and operated by the employees and producers (ranchers and farmers).
We struggle with the same thing up here in Canada. I do what I can to support my local farmer/ranchers and small business entrepreneurs.
I know you do! A lot of the same companies that have consolidated down here have moved up there.

we all need to think like this. We won't sell anything to a corporation. Not our house, not a car, nothing.
This tells the hard facts story. The monopolies are killing this country. So one CEO CAN PUT 500, 000, 000.00 in HIS SAVINGS ACCOUNT over simplified but still true. Nut.....
Not being a farmer or rancher it's hard yo grasp. Prayers for all of you.
So, the man has a what we use to call a co-op set up along with his business.
That's awesome.
I hope a lot of people see this video so they understand why they need to buy from the stores run by "small business owners"
Yes, we may pay a bit more.

Thank you so much for talking about this. This is so important to our country’s future and our children. God bless you man.

I’ve had that food and people who have never needed it don’t know why some would choose to go hungry than eat that. It’s not ingratitude. 👍
