It all feels very valuable to me because it is the foundation of our faith, and I believe the Jews preserved their language all these years so they can teach us as accurately as possible. My opinion that could be wrong but we are entering Aquarius. It's depicted as a man pouring water from a jug from the heavens. "One like a son of man coming in the clouds." Daniel saw the future of the Age we are now entering when knowledge like refreshing water would be poured onto the nations by Hashem's Servant. It's an open time that can certainly close as the powers that be are resolved to control what we are allowed to know. So learn now.

Isaiah 53:10. The seed, the descendants. This is literal. Every specie reproduces after its kind. The human specie reproduces from male sperm. Are you okay believing J reproduced physical children from his sperm? From there discussion diverges. Suffice it to say that Isaiah 53 is not J. The Hebrew word for seed is ZERA and it includes male sperm because that is the source of life regardless of the ovum. All life is via the male progenitor fertilizing the female. True in trees. Everything.

Like many of us human beings, we're complicated. King Solomon got off to a great start, only asking for wisdom rather than riches. But, things began to fall apart in his later years. Having hundreds of wives is problematic. Then again, Israel never met so many years of peace and tranquility, as under the reign of Solomon. ( because those wives were princesses of kings and the marriage was a form of good diplomacy)

31 And when Enoch had heard these words, he bowed himself to the earth, before the Lord, and spake before the Lord, saying: Why is it that I have found favor in thy sight, and am but a lad, and all the people hate me; for I am slow of speech; wherefore am I thy servant?
32 And the Lord said unto Enoch: Go forth and do as I have commanded thee, and no man shall pierce thee. Open thy mouth, and it shall be filled, and I will give thee utterance, for all flesh is in my hands, and I will do as seemeth me good.
33 Say unto this people: Choose ye this day, to serve the Lord God who made you.
34 Behold my Spirit is upon you, wherefore all thy words will I justify; and the mountains shall flee before you, and the rivers shall turn from their course; and thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me.
35 And the Lord spake unto Enoch, and said unto him: Anoint thine eyes with clay, and wash them, and thou shalt see. And he did so.
36 And he beheld the spirits that God had created; and he beheld also things which were not visible to the natural eye; and from thenceforth came the saying abroad in the land: A seer hath the Lord raised up unto his people.
37 And it came to pass that Enoch went forth in the land, among the people, standing upon the hills and the high places, and cried with a loud voice, testifying against their works; and all men were offended because of him.
38 And they came forth to hear him, upon the high places, saying unto the tent-keepers: Tarry ye here and keep the tents, while we go yonder to behold the seer, for he prophesieth, and there is a strange thing in the land; a wild man hath come among us.
39 And it came to pass when they heard him, no man laid hands on him; for fear came on all them that heard him; for he walked with God.
40 And there came a man unto him, whose name was Mahijah, and said unto him: Tell us plainly who thou art, and from whence thou comest?
41 And he said unto them: I came out from the land of Cainan, the land of my fathers, a land of righteousness unto this day. And my father taught me in all the ways of God.
42 And it came to pass, as I journeyed from the land of Cainan, by the sea east, I beheld a vision; and lo, the heavens I saw, and the Lord spake with me, and gave me commandment; wherefore, for this cause, to keep the commandment, I speak forth these words.
43 And Enoch continued his speech, saying: The Lord which spake with me, the same is the God of heaven, and he is my God, and your God, and ye are my brethren, and why counsel ye yourselves, and deny the God of heaven?
44 The heavens he made; the earth is his footstool; and the foundation thereof is his. Behold, he laid it, an host of men hath he brought in upon the face thereof.
45 And death hath come upon our fathers; nevertheless we know them, and cannot deny, and even the first of all we know, even Adam.
46 For a book of remembrance we have written among us, according to the pattern given by the finger of God; and it is given in our own language.
47 And as Enoch spake forth the words of God, the people trembled, and could not stand in his presence.
48 And he said unto them: Because that Adam fell, we are; and by his fall came death; and we are made partakers of misery and woe.
49 Behold Satan hath come among the children of men, and tempteth them to worship him; and men have become carnal, sensual, and devilish, and are shut out from the presence of God.
50 But God hath made known unto our fathers that all men must repent.
51 And he called upon our father Adam by his own voice, saying: I am God; I made the world, and men before they were in the flesh.
52 And he also said unto him: If thou wilt turn unto me, and hearken unto my voice, and believe, and repent of all thy transgressions, and be baptized, even in water, in the name of mine Only Begotten Son, who is full of grace and truth, which is Jesus Christ, the only name which shall be given under heaven, whereby salvation shall come unto the children of men, ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, asking all things in his name, and whatsoever ye shall ask, it shall be given you.
53 And our father Adam spake unto the Lord, and said: Why is it that men must repent and be baptized in water? And the Lord said unto Adam: Behold I have forgiven thee thy transgression in the Garden of Eden.
54 Hence came the saying abroad among the people, that the Son of God hath atoned for original guilt, wherein the sins of the parents cannot be answered upon the heads of the children, for they are whole from the foundation of the world.
55 And the Lord spake unto Adam, saying: Inasmuch as thy children are conceived in sin, even so when they begin to grow up, sin conceiveth in their hearts, and they taste the bitter, that they may know to prize the good.
56 And it is given unto them to know good from evil; wherefore they are agents unto themselves, and I have given unto you another law and commandment.
57 Wherefore teach it unto your children, that all men, everywhere, must repent, or they can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God, for no unclean thing can dwell there, or dwell in his presence; for, in the language of Adam, Man of Holiness is his name, and the name of his Only Begotten is the Son of Man, even Jesus Christ, a righteous Judge, who shall come in the meridian of time.
58 Therefore I give unto you a commandment, to teach these things freely unto your children, saying:
    59 That by reason of transgression cometh the fall, which fall bringeth death, and inasmuch as ye were born into the world by water, and blood, and the spirit, which I have made, and so became of dust a living soul, even so ye must be born again into the kingdom of heaven, of water, and of the Spirit, and be cleansed by blood, even the blood of mine Only Begotten; that ye might be sanctified from all sin, and enjoy the words of eternal life in this world, and eternal life in the world to come, even immortal glory;
    60 For by the water ye keep the commandment; by the Spirit ye are justified, and by the blood ye are sanctified;
61 Therefore it is given to abide in you; the record of heaven; the Comforter; the peaceable things of immortal glory; the truth of all things; that which quickeneth all things, which maketh alive all things; that which knoweth all things, and hath all power according to wisdom, mercy, truth, justice, and judgment.
62 And now, behold, I say unto you: This is the plan of salvation unto all men, through the blood of mine Only Begotten, who shall come in the meridian of time.
63 And behold, all things have their likeness, and all things are created and made to bear record of me, both things which are temporal, and things which are spiritual; things which are in the heavens above, and things which are on the earth, and things which are in the earth, and things which are under the earth, both above and beneath: all things bear record of me.
64 And it came to pass, when the Lord had spoken with Adam, our father, that Adam cried unto the Lord, and he was caught away by the Spirit of the Lord, and was carried down into the water, and was laid under the water, and was brought forth out of the water.
65 And thus he was baptized, and the Spirit of God descended upon him, and thus he was born of the Spirit, and became quickened in the inner man.
    66 And he heard a voice out of heaven, saying: Thou art baptized with fire, and with the Holy Ghost. This is the record of the Father, and the Son, from henceforth and forever;
67 And thou art after the order of him who was without beginning of days or end of years, from all eternity to all eternity.
68 Behold, thou art one in me, a son of God; and thus may all become my sons. Amen.

Hello Ephraim! I would like to thank you very much for this video, because I finally found someone else who approached Pardês' story in this way. I will need to write some considerations below and if you don't mind, I would be grateful for your observations.
As I had already considered before and seen with another rabbi, Elisha's problem would not be in her vision itself but in possible misinterpretations. However, we do not have texts from Elisha himself with his own considerations about his experience, leaving us only with the image that the Talmud gives us of his person.
There is a passage that you also used that says that Elisha apparently had knowledge and reading of foreign works, which I will assume are Greek due to the fact that he also hums songs from there. We know that at this time there was a resurgence of both Pythagoreanism and Platonism (which would become 'neo-Platonism'). We will even have Philo of Alexandria as one of his exponents, doing a great job and a great reading of the Torah based on Greek metaphysical understanding. Not only that, we know that both Jewish mysticism and Christian and Islamic mysticism were influenced by Neoplatonic thought.
My point is that in Platonic/Aristotelian metaphysics we have the conception of the 'One' and that necessarily all multiplicity comes from the One ("from the one comes the multiplicity"). However, before the emergence of multiplicity in fact, the need for a 'second One' is reported because as the One already encompasses everything and cannot have any contrary, therefore the first thing to emerge would necessarily be a reflection of itself, therefore a ' second One' before we finally arrive at multiplicity.
From this perspective it doesn't seem so different why Metat has a title like the 'Lesser Tetagram', because as presented by you, God has no form at all - no one can see his face.
What I found interesting is that you yourself correlate this case with Christian ideas, already taking with you the Talmudic excerpt about why we should not get confused to the point of worshiping Metat (for having the very name of God) instead of the unique God himself. This leads me to the following honest question: given this scenario, I believe that the biggest problem with Christianity is not even the content of its gospels, but rather the theology constructed and developed over time. In other words, most Christians worship and worship the figure of Christ rather than just 'God the Father'. But let's suppose that there is a group of Christians who, understanding this entire discussion, worship only God - and not Christ - but conceive that Christ was Metat incarnate, bearing the name of God, having been generated before creation. Please understand that I am not trying to suggest that this is the case, it is hypothetical. But if that were the case, would it be much less problematic for traditional Judaism? If a Christian considers that 'ok, Christ should not be praised because God is unique, and let's even consider that there is nothing like justification for his sacrifice as is traditionally conceived, but we think it makes sense that he is the Minor Tetagram himself incarnate ", would that be more palatable?
I'm asking this because I've often seen rabbis assert that Islam is much more in line with Judaism than Christianity. The problem for me is that despite theological differences, Christianity still maintains the Torah - albeit with different interpretations - while Islam practically claims there is no need to read the Torah to the detriment of the Quran received by Muhammed. Furthermore, the figure of Christ is also present in the Quran. Of course, there are no ideas like 'trinity' or that God is incarnate, being just a prophet. But considering a scenario where a Christian has the Torah with him and believes that Metat incarnated as a human being (instead of Enoch becoming angelic), leaving theological dogmas such as trinity and divine incarnation aside, it would be no less problematic than the claim that a new revealed text was given to a new prophet so that it surpasses the Torah making it 'outdated'? (Since Muslims claim that the Torah has been corrupted and that the Quran came to restore the 'truth' and history of the Abrahamic tradition).
I understand that it is a very sensitive and problematic topic. I have dedicated myself to studying the three Abrahamic traditions and have sought to work on the similarities rather than focusing on the differences, which only lead to more fights. Just last week I gave a copy of 'The Guide for the Perplexed' to a Muslim friend as a gift because in the same way that I am reading the Koran and studying its Arab theologians and philosophers, I would like him to be able to understand the Torah from the perspective of the Jewish tradition, and He was very happy with the gift.
I apologize if the text was a little confusing - I'm on a work schedule right now but I couldn't help myself. So these would be my points and questions:
    1. Can we agree that the idea of Metat as the Lesser Tetagram corresponds to the (neo)Platonic idea that a Second One is necessary between the One and the entire multiplicity of reality?
    2. If Christians hypothetically did not require that Christ was 'God himself incarnate' and did not accept ideas such as the trinity or even salvation through the sacrifice of their messiah, but had the idea that Christ was Metat incarnate and that part of their discussions with rabbis in the gospels were due to the fact that they had unconventional interpretations for the tradition of the time (which seems to me to be the case with several Kabbalists with their allegorical interpretations), would this be more acceptable to Judaism as a whole? Not as if Judaism had to accept this for itself, but in relation to understanding these other traditions that emerged from Judaism itself.
    3. Judaism is not a proselytizer seeking to convert people as other religions do. However, it is difficult to conceive what the world would be like in the absence of other Abrahamic traditions (Christianity and especially Islam today), as the large number of people who consider themselves monotheists is partly due to the expansion of the latter. The understanding I had from another rabbi is that Elisha, having had such an experience, would not be able to return to the experience of her tradition/religion as she lived until then. Despite the problematic theological issues, couldn't we and should we try to see that perhaps these other Abrahamic traditions sought to take the core of the Abrahamic message to the Gentiles who were not part of the people of Israel? In Malachi it is stated that the various peoples of distant lands also fear and praise the name of the one God. Could it be that, even if we remain in accordance with Jewish tradition, there will be no benefit to other peoples from this?
Thank you in advance for your patience and your classes. May the only God, the God of Abraham, continue to bless you, your family and everyone here!

      1. I think that, yes, it is similar to some Greek ideas and particularly to Gnosticism, which argued that there is a second, "lesser god" or demiurge.
      2. While it is true that rejecting Jesus as a "god" and seeing him only as "christ" or "messiah" would be less idolatrous, it is still not okay and does not solve the main problem: Jesus did not fulfil any of the requirements of the messiah, including ingathering all of the Jewish exiles to the Holy Land, rebuilding the final and permanent Jerusalem Temple, ending all war on Earth (as per Isaiah 2), establishing an era of global prosperity and unity, with unanimous recognition worldwide of one God (as per Zechariah 14), and many others. It is beyond evident that Jesus was not the messiah, and cannot be the "christ".
      3. I spoke more about "Judaism vs. Christianity" here: th-cam.com/video/Jgf7hBGqzJM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vOdMZV_gAiL0hFLV In this video, I also addressed your third question, which is that yes Christianity and Islam did play an important role in spreading monotheism and basic Torah ideas around the world. Also spoke in depth about "Judaism vs. Islam" here: th-cam.com/video/yBh_F5JzW1s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Gy1VGDG_rrqrRaXi and as I said here, I do believe that overall Judaism shares more commonalities with Christianity than with Islam, and the term "Judeo-Christian" is indeed appropriate, though we have some irreconcilable differences.
By the way, Elisha is a "him", not a "her".

@@EfraimPalvanovhey friend, i would like to add to OPs inquiry because i do agree with his sentiments and understanding.
My orthodox kabbalistic Rabbi once said that the only way Yeshu would qualify to be Metatron would be if he was a reincarnation of Enoch, and that since christians do not believe in reincarnation it is a moot point. I however l, have been convinced of reincarnation. Yeshu even said John the Immerser was Eliyahu ha navi.
Furthermore, if you take the gematria of Enoch son of Jared and compare it to Yeshu the Messiah, you would find that the gematria matches. The particular form of gematria reuqires counting the letters from 1-22, where each letter is assigned that value. And as we know, there are many different gematria systems for calculation.
The rabbis developed the Messiah ben Joseph and Messiah ben David tradtions for a reason. Because they had to reconcile the idea of a suffering Messiah and a triumphant Messiah. So, a 2nd coming is not at all at odds with this concept. If anything, the followers of Yeshu understood this concept before the Rabbis did despite their claim that the followers of Yeshu had to concoct this idea because of supposed failed ideas that he is supposed to accomplish.
Some of us that acknowledges Yeshu as the Messiah are not guilty of avoda zara and neither should we be lumped in under the same title and banner of those that do. We may be small but those of that DO know the truth know how to live Judaism and also acknowledge Yeshu as the Messiah. No where is this forbidden in Rabbinical law or Halacha.
And when i say those of us are small, im not talking about Messianics! I personally do not abscribe to some title. Within the last year, i have devoured Jewish ideas and teachings and i resonate with them all, including yours. Neither do i condemn any of you for not accepting Yeshu. It doesnt matter at this point. The only thing that matters is that we practice Torah and live in truth! And know and understand that all that i have said will continue to grow even larger, you will see more of us as we adapt to truth and align with our Jewish comrades!

I find it strange that many Jews scoff at the christian concept of Jesus being divine, while they may subscribe to the concept of Metatron. Jesus never asked anyone to pray to him. When his diciples asked him how they should pray, Jesus didn't say "Our Father, who is standing right before you, hallowed be his name". No, he taught them to pray upwards. Perhaps Metatron and Jesus are like God's avatars.

I am a 62 year old mental health support worker who went through a terrible terrible spiritual warfare attack after my husband said he was leaving
, my mom had stage 4 cancer, my son was in trouble with the law, my sister was deathly ill in hospital etc etc.. I began to have a breakdown. As well I was studying for exams at my new job.. it was a terrible time in my life
. All of a sudden I was going through a full on attack. The demons kept telling me to get a gun and shoot myself. Over and over. I could even see it written in the sky. ‘ get a gun shoot yourusel or the word die. Etc all sorts of terrible things. As well as I saw one eye perfectly in the sky, a 3 headed owl, 3 evil men the middle man had a huge scar across his face. I saw ancient coins with an ancient man’s face with long white beard in middle of coin. I saw a burning dragon and evil evil beings. I know it sounds insane , but being a Christian I was going through an attack and the demons knew that I was thinking of taking my life. They were pushing me so bad. Eventually I couldn’t take anymore and bought at gun and bullets. I planned to kill myself that day. I couldn’t go through anymore. Oh , I saw giants as well huge men as tall as cedar trees. Anyhow I was in the fight of my life I was putting the loaded gun in and out of my mouth screaming out to God
. Then I saw 3 orbs and out of those orbs 3 angels appeared. The middle age was a beautiful female holding out a book to me . I have no idea what it was, possibly a bible. I decided that day I wanted to live and give my heart to God. The last thing was I was doing a commentary before I was going to mill myself,so I was recording my last video and when I went to hear iTunes back a very very deep man’s voice said”Enoch” so deep and CNN loud and the sound of Avery long sword sliding across a stone. I had never ever heard the word Enoch before could have been a vegetable for all I know. It terrified me. I now know who he is. Do u think he is evil or good was he there to fight the demons or was hea demo . They almost had my would. But I fought back and was baptized and have never take one pillj, never been in hospital, and am totally normal . And have a beautiful life today. I know how crazy this sounds. I really do. But it really did happen and these were t dreams these were real wide awake visions. Perfect example is one day I came home from church before being baptized and just put my purse on counter and looked over my glass patio door and there was a huge burning and thrashing dragon. I saw every detail. I dropped to the floor and was crying out to God I was terrified. It wasn’t my imagination. Spiritual warfare is a real thing I swear to God. And I won!
    😮

What a deeply wonderful, terrifying, powerful, intense and transformational journey for you. The fact you remember every detail so vividly speaks volumes about the intensity and how present you were to each moment. Bless you that you didnt take your life and that God sent his angels to you instead to tell you how much you were loved and needed. Life does indeed work in mysterious ways. I have also been going through a very dark few years, I will spare the details, but now I am finally coming out the other side and can feel God whisper to me, this time was needed tomake me strong for the time(s) to come. So now if I get furstrated or angry with things, I am reminded that it is and has all been fr my highest good, to mke my strong, so I may step up and answer my calling in the days to come, I beleive we have some tough times ahead and we are needed in all out strength and glory. There are more than one Enoch in the Bible. God found favor in one, the others I don't know much about. I know of no Christians who study Enoch as Gods word or anything about this Metatron or whatever. We mainly study the teachings of the apostles and Jesus. The Old Testament is history and mainly for the
Jews although it is profitable for learning Gods ways. Jesus fulfilled God's promise to Israel on the cross. He was the last and perfect lamb sacrificed for all mankind. We no longer need priest or sacrifices. We are cleansed by the blood of the lamb, Jesus Christ, who sits on the throne at the right hand of God. We now have direct access to God. He hears and answers the prayers of the believers. I've experienced many strange things and every time I call on God, he takes care it. If I rebuke a spirit in Jesus name, it flees. Jesus is real, he came, he died and he ascended with the Saints after he took the keys of death/Hades when he was there for 3 days. Jesus changed the world like no one or anything ever has, besides God. There are so many writings and archeological findings all over the world that prove that he is real. He is more than this metatron Angel. He is literally God's only begotten son whom God foretold through the prophets of old. He performed miracles, raised the dead, healed the sick, and spoke the words of God in him. Yet, they called him a demon, a heretic, brutally tortured him and hung him naked like a criminal for all to mock. And, Jesus went through this and God allowed it so that we
could be cleansed, saved and allowed to return to our Father in Heaven. It's so sad that his own people reject him and still do, because they were looking for a worldly king like David and Solomon.

I also went through a treacherous time in my life recently. I won't go through all the details, but my daughter almost killed herself as well. She was tormented by demons. She had shadows coming into her room at night and messing with her thoughts. Mental health and the prescriptions did nothing but make her worse. I told her to throw out the pills, continue praying to God and rebuke the evil spirits in Jesus name and they finally left her alone. There is power in the blood and in the Holy Spirit which we receive when we believe, repent and are baptized! Amen!! I'm so glad you made it through! God can make everything right when we turn to him and stop looking for worldly solutions. Unfortunately, it sometimes takes disasters for us to finally realize that we just need to give all our troubles over to him and let him lead the way. God bless you and your family.

@@leivajoe80 Well, I don't think this is Judaism. The book of Enoch is not considered to be from God but more like someone writing a story much like the Iliad from the Romans. The Jews only consider the Pentateuch or first 5 books to be the 'words of God'. This includes Deuteronomy 4:2 which you mention. The bigger question for the Jews, in my opinion, is why do they follow all the Talmud when Deuteronomy specifically says not to? But to answer their question, one must say that modern Judaism is entirely based upon the Talmud. And they have placed the Pentateuch under that. Of course, there is nothing wrong with reading the Talmud or following it however they neglect the Pentateuch for Man's Doctrine of the Talmud. This is Religion. As Christians, we understand that Jesus came to denounce Religion. Because God is not Religion. That was why all the teachings about the Pharisees and Sadducees. And the Scribes who were so trained in Religion but neglected the "weightier" matters of the Law. But to keep it short, they do not follow the writings of the books of Enoch, or really anything that may resemble a reference to Jesus in the ancient writings. In the 4th century, the Judaism Religion took a hard turn away from Jesus by updating their religion and the Talmud so that it doesn't sound so much like Jesus was the messiah. So basically, the Talmud was 'modified' so that they don't believe in Jesus. That is a basic history of this topic.

01:04:02 I see some strange issues in that text.
"I saw Mashiach ben Yosef and his generation...and I saw Mashiach ben David and his generation..." - This would mean, that the generations of the 2 Mashiachs are different ? I heard, that Mashiach ben David very shortly (about 40 days) after the death of Mashiach ben Yosef enters the "fight". The generations (at least at the beginning of the actions of Mashiach ben David) should be the same. This texts contradicts this.
"Gog and Magog will fight" - if this text is correct, than this means, that there will be 2 persons, God and Magog. This contradicts what I learned about this. I got told, that "Gog U Magog" means "Gog of/from Magog", like Gog is the name of the ruler and Magog is his country.
Any explanations for this contradictions ?

This probably means that at the time the book was written there was an understanding that Ben Yosef would appear in a different generation to Ben David. Later generations of Rabbis (not all) changed their interpretations to suggest they will come within days of each other. This interpretation might have come about because they haven’t identified Ben Yosef and time is running out.

It's two "comings" of the messiah. The first coming is the "suffering servant". The second coming is the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Jesus came the first time and the Jews were looking for the Lion of the tribe of Judah, so they got the timing wrong and can't see the fulfillment of the suffering servant messiah advent. Jesus is coming again and then the Jews will mourn for the lack of understanding and the persecution they heaped upon Jesus of Nazareth , the only savior of mankind.

“In the Old Testament the New Testament is concealed; in the New Testament the Old Testament is revealed.”
Psalm 40:7 is speaking about the Lord when it says, “…in the volume of the book it is written of me” (Hebrews 10:5-10).
Messiah as the King: Genesis 49:10
Messiah as the Prophet: Deuteronomy 18:15-19
Messiah as David’s Lord: Psalm 110:1-2
Messiah as the Eternal Priest: Psalm 110:4; Genesis 14:18-20
Messiah as Melchizedek Offering Bread and Wine and Receiving Tithes: Genesis 14:18-20
Messiah as Counselor, Father, God, Prince of Peace and Kingly Heir of David: Isaiah 9:6-7
    The Just Judge: Isaiah 11:1-5
    The Servant Ruler: Isaiah 42:1-5
    The Righteous Judge: Jeremiah 23:5
The LORD our Righteousness: Jeremiah 23:6
The Son of David: Ruth, chapters 1-4, we see Jesus in Boaz’s role as our Kinsman Redeemer. Psalm 18:43 tells us that foreigners (like us) will serve Him.
In Isaiah 8:13-14, he is described as a Sanctuary.
In Isaiah 59:20 he is called the Redeemer.
Isaiah 11:5 describes him as the Stem of Jesse (the father of King David).
In Zechariah 3:8 and again in 6:12, he’s the Branch.
The Old Testament consistently refers to the Messiah as a descendant of David and the rightful heir to David’s throne (1 Kings 2:45, Isaiah 9:7, Psalm 132:11, Jeremiah 33:15-17).
We also see this interesting allusion to the keys of the House of David in Isaiah 22:21-25.
Micah 5:2 tells us that he “whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting” will be born in Bethlehem, the City of David (1 Samuel 17:15, 20:6).
Finally, we offer one last Scriptural example that identifies Jesus as the Messiah as presented in the Old Testament:
Matthew 21, Mark 11, Luke 19 and John 12 all describe the monumental day Jesus presented Himself, riding into Jerusalem on the donkey’s colt in fulfillment of Zechariah 9:9
Jesus purposely fulfilled this prophecy, telling His disciples to bring Him a donkey from the nearby village of Bethphage as they traveled from Bethany to Jerusalem four days before the Passover. Jesus rode the donkey down the Mount of Olives with multitudes shouting “Hosanna!” and laying down their clothes in front of Him (Matthew 21:7-9), and
HE DID SO ON THE VERY DAY PROPHESIED BY THE ANGEL GABRIEL IN DANIEL 9:24-25. He entered through the eastern gate, called the Beautiful Gate in ancient times, and that week He celebrated a last Passover meal with His disciples before His crucifixion. Ezekiel 44:1-3 gives us a remarkable prophecy regarding that particular gate:
In Luke 4:18-19 Jesus stands up in the synagogue and reads aloud from Isaiah 61, literally introducing Himself as the Messiah:
Isaiah 61:1-2a: He stops there and closes the book. He does not complete the sentence. The passage in Isaiah continues from there.
Isaiah 61:2b-3: Jesus reads, “To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,” but refrains from reading, “and the day of vengeance of our God…”
In Jesus’ first appearance on the earth, He announced Himself as the Messiah who came to set the captives free in the acceptable year. These words of the Lord would have been recognized by the Jews as a reference to the Jubilee, the year when prisoners were released and debts were cancelled. In the synagogue that day, Jesus intentionally chose not to remind them of the coming day of vengeance.
The Jews did not understand the two-part nature of the Messiah’s job on earth. They were expecting Jesus to ride in and free them from the Romans, to take His throne and rule the earth from Jerusalem right then. Even the disciples were carried away by their expectations, not listening to Jesus’ warnings that He would suffer and die, that He had come to lay down His life for His sheep (John 10:15-18, Matthew 12:40). John and James earned the irritation of their fellows when their mother asked Jesus if they could sit on Jesus’ right hand and left hand in His Kingdom (Matthew 20:21-24). They didn’t yet appreciate that Jesus’ first visit would be as the Suffering Servant who came to die according to Isaiah 53, and that He would not come to claim His throne for thousands of years.
Jesus gently rebuked two of His followers on the road to Emmaus on Resurrection morning, because His purpose was there in the Old Testament all along. Both Isaiah and Daniel give hints of this two-fold calling, of both His death and His future glory:
Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Isaiah 53:12: I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
Daniel 7:13-14: And yet…And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Daniel 9:26: The Messiah’s being “cut off” has to predate His everlasting dominion. The Bible makes clear that Jesus is the King, that He will rule on David’s throne and Christ’s Second Coming will be “to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds…” (Jude 1:15).
The Messiah will also return to comfort those who mourn and to clothe His people with garments of praise.
In his First Coming, though, when He came to lay down His life for His sheep, He chose to stop at the comma-a comma that has lasted more than 2000 years.
The Lord has not forgotten. Not one jot nor tittle shall pass from the Law, not the crossing of a “t” nor dotting of an “i” shall be omitted, until all is fulfilled (Matthew 5:18). The Word of God will be completed perfectly to the letter, but God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:7-9).
Are we like the First Century Jews, reading in the Word of God only what we want to see? We need to be careful when reading the Scriptures to read deeply with an awareness that God uses every detail to give His message to a fallen race. One of the most important lessons to take away from this reading is that we pay attention to the fullness of the entire Word of God.

@ I have the Holy Spirit, so I’m not lacking anything. Those who don’t accept Jesus as Messiah and His gift of salvation will remain blind to the truth. You don’t need Jewish sages…you need Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The veil was torn. You can go directly to the Father through Jesus. The fact that nothing in the temple worked properly after Jesus Christ was crucified, along with the complete lack of ability to perform under the old sacrificial system should clue you into the fact that you missed the final sacrifice. No more are needed and He won’t allow that system which was temporary and merely a foreshadow to continue. All feasts of the Lord are about Jesus. He was crucified on Passover, buried during unleavened bread, rose for first fruits, and the Holy Spirit was given to believers on Pentecost. The rapture, second coming, and millenial reign of Christ will be the fulfillment of the fall feasts. Which will be SOON. We’re at the end of summer. It’s time to wake up sister. Jesus is the Messiah. To deny it is to reject what you were told would happen through countless fulfilled prophecies. I’d read Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22 a few times if i were you. But also realize Jesus is throughout the OT. He is the Alpha and Omega. 🙏

To clarify, Kokhaviel is not actually described as a "baddie" in the Book of Enoch. He was the angel that taught mankind all about the stars and constellations. The real "baddie" was Azazel, and that's why he is singled out in the Torah. In the ancient Heikhalot texts, Kokhaviel is described simply as the angel who oversees the stars in the cosmos. So it's not a problem.

@@EfraimPalvanov to be honest it fills in the gaps if someone is true to the text for me this is especially true coming from predominantly Christian circles but I’ve always dedicated myself to know that Israel will always be first and so much I do not agree with. 144,000 is to me a time period as the solar 2x12x6000 and is a multitude that no man can number. Isaiah 46:10 (KJV) Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times [the things] that are not [yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
      Verse 5708 and 5709 of the Torah are;
Deuteronomy 30:5-6 (KJV) 5 And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. 6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
Revelation 22:2 (KJV) In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations.
The book of Daniel gives us some figures, 1260, 1290, 1335 and 2300, simply added together are 6185, we are told time is cut short lest no man survive.
Jeremiah 31:35-36 (KJV) 35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, [and] the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts [is] his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, [then] the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
I found the ratio between solar and lunar months to be crucial in calculating the year of the return of Israel. Simply dividing by 13 then multiplying by 12 gives the Hebrew year 5709 converted to 1948.
The reference comes by looking at the custom of 2 witnesses required to determine the sighting of the moon cycle. The second part is the reference to 6 days of creation and 2 Peter 3:8 giving rise to a 6000 year search. The solar witnesses for 6000 years or “leaves” 2x12x6000 just so happens to be a 144,000 total which needs no introduction in completing the validation of a system built into the foundations of the universe including cultural references as instructed by inspiration prior.
      Romans 11:4 (KJV)
But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to [the image of] Baal.
The second unique validation comes into reference regarding a 7000 reserve and reverse reference of 144,000 minus 7000 equals 137,000 then removing the original 2x12 by dividing by 24 giving 5708 being 12 months prior to the State declaration.
Isaiah 21:16 (KJV) For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail:
Ezekiel 27:21 refers to "Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar."
Isaiah 43:21 (KJV) This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
Revelation 9:15 (KJV) And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
I decided to look at the time mentioned and calculated this,
      If 364
      In hours then
      364x24=8736
      +28x24=672
      +24
      +1
      9433 hrs
      Days..
      364+28+1

      13 months
      Years...
      1
      1 year
      9433+393+13+1=9840
      12,000 each tribe -9840=2160..?
      2160 years is an age.
      12x9840=118080
      144000-118080=25920.
Genesis 6:3 (KJV) And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also [is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
      2300+1260+1290+1335=6185

As someone who has the most basic understanding of religion, I consider myself a Christian. As I believe that God came down on earth in the form of Jesus, I just don't think that God intended or wanted us to worship Jesus. I feel like it's kind of humans mistakenly worshipping an idol when God really intended to come to earth to live amongst his creation to teach us and show us love and to just worship God solely. I don't know how to explain it. I believe God is real, he came down to earth as a man named Jesus. I believe he went through the process of death to be the ultimate sacrifice and give us comfort. And I don't think he wanted us to worship his human form and pray to Jesus. Does that mean I'm not a Christian??

@vasttrance877 yeah but what does that mean exactly? I am no expert or scholar on the Bible or Christianity but I have read all of the New Testament and most of the Old. I have taken "classes" and been "taught" by college professors, established and long tenured pastors, and have done my fair share of study/research. And I've done all of that under multiple different denominations. From church of christ, to Baptist, to Pentacostal. What I'm saying is I've heard it all. And after everything I've read and heard I just can't help but feel like "coming to God through Christ" just means that you have to follow Jesus teachings because that is the true way to get to heaven. I also think that Christians make the holy trinity way more confusing and complicated than it really is. I believe that there is one true god. I believe that he walked this earth as Jesus and Jesus is not separate for God. And I believe the holy spirit lives inside of whoever let's him in and that it is also God himself and not something completely separate. I believe that we are not supposed to worship anything other than just God and his intentions were not for us to worship his human form but to just learn from and appreciate Jesus. Most of the Bible talks about people and nations wrongfully worshipping idols instead of God himself and I just can't help but feel like us worshipping the man Jesus instead of God himself is just another instance of people wrongfully worshipping an idol.

This is especially true of the "permanent" higher angels, like the Seraphim. Yes yes!
In the Book of Revelation at Revelation 1:1, Jesus sends his angel to the apostle John to inform him of the things that will happen in the last days. The angel speaks both for Jesus and for God throughout the book of Revelation at different intervals. At the end of the book of John in chapter 22, John bows down and worships this angel! The angel corrects John and tells him that he is only a servant that John is to worship God only!
Now most Christians when reading Revelation think that this angel is Jesus! Except of course here at chapter 22 when the angel tells John not to worship him!
No it's very possible that this angel is an avatar of Jesus/Metat 54:54 ron/ Enoch but the scripture does not explain that.
God gave humans and image of himself in Jesus so that humans could see what God looks like without dying. Since no man can see God and live, no man could look at God but they could look at an imitation or a reflection of God. Jesus is a reflection of God! Enoch is a reflection of God!

Its important to note The First Book of Enoch was the only text found among the dead sea scrolls. You used a photo of the scrolls but your title is talking about Enoch 3 (Metatron). Enoch 3 is a much later addition and was not found in the dead sea scrolls at Qumran. Enoch 3 is said to be authored by Rabbi Ishmael of the 2nd Century CE, (but yet uses terminologies that place its composition to the fifth century). That being said, it is important to be transparent when it comes to ancient texts vs. later additions. I hope it was your intention to deceive, but its very important that people know only 1 Enoch was found in Qumran. Sequels tend to muddy the waters.

Shalom. Seeing that the third book of Enoch was written hundreds of years after the so-called "Christian story," wouldn't that mean that 3rd Enoch is a knock off of the Brithadasha. It seems reversed than what the argument is being presented. The NT speaks nothing of making Mashiach the Elohim, in fact, he prays to Him and many times says he has an Elohim and denies worship.

I ran outside to talk to him, I had to follow him because he was walking away but I caught up to him. He looked like a man but his eyes were intense and he had alpha and omega tattooed on his face. He told me he was told to tell me I got everything I prayed for. He said he prayed for a long time and he tells everyone "you got everything you prayed for".

50:56 would you say that Christianity also hinges on the notion that the angels sons of God came down, raped women, and had hybrid children; as a result, you now have a faulty/more full bloodline that is now in capable of doing right. Thus the need for a savior to cleanse your bad blood.

You are like Joseph's brothers who came before him to ask for bread during the famine, as he sat on Pharaoh's throne. You don't recognize him because he looks like a Gentile.
Benjamin was the first one to recognize Joseph. Only after Joseph tested the rest of his brothers to see if they were sorry for selling him into slavery, did he finally reveal himself to them. It's a shame you cannot see it in the story of Enoch.

Doesn't God warn us not to mess with witchcraft, divination and the calling up of spirits? Deuteronomy 18:10-14 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,
11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.
12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD; because of these same detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you.
13 You must be blameless before the LORD your God.
14 The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so.
There is no such thing as white magic or good magic. You are seeking another power, relying on yourself or an entity, instead of God when you do such things. It is a form of idolatry. Many of these esoteric or mystic teachings were a part of ancient pagan religions in which many Isrealites participated and were condemned. Is this not why God allowed the Israelites to wonder in the desert, the world to be flooded, Satan to be cast down, Kings and Priest to fall and Isreal brought into Babylonian captivity? We can not combine the teachings of God with the teachings of the pagans, men or the world. God doesn't work that way. If you want knowledge, seek it from God alone. What he wants us to know has been written. We are not to construe it, add to it or take away from it. No one knows the mind of God or can harness his power or manipulate him. His yes is yes and his No is no. He is not a God of chaos or confusion. God never changes and neither does his word.
