Woodturning by Spinfield Turners: German Ring Turning

My first attempt at GERMAN RING TURNING or REIFENDREHEN.
It sort of worked out ok for a first attempt.
More practice needed and better choice of wood methinks.

Well done you Malcolm. But I wonder if there is a far easier method, considering, dual outside profiles, just a thought.

Absolutely. External templates for a simple profile could work- as could doing it by eye as I’m sure the Black Forest production turners do! Give it a go and let me know? Thanks for watching 👍
