Hello ! After pushing 2 touch for reset, i think it was eq + volume down , a menu show 00:00. I left this menu , "written" was show and now i lost all source in ap + secondary hdmi , exept wifi + hdmi Arc . I can force BT on soundbar, but i need the secondary hdmi. How can i hard reset pls ? LG S80qy I dont want to look with my shop, bad customer service. Thank's !
sounds like you're in a bit of a pickle after trying that reset. For the LG S80QY, if EQ + volume down didn't do the trick and you're missing some sources now, you might wanna try a different reset method. Usually, holding down the power button on the soundbar for a bit can force a more general reset. If that doesn't bring back your secondary HDMI, you might need to dive into the manual or check LG's support website for a specific reset procedure for your model. It's a bummer about the shop's customer service, but hopefully, this gets your soundbar back to normal without needing them.
you can usually reset it using the remote. Just look for a reset option in the settings menu or hold down the power (or a specific combo of buttons) on the remote for a few seconds. If that doesn't do the trick, peeping into the manual or a quick online search for your soundbar model + reset should help out.
Power and Bluetooth button method worked on the SP7R version for me when I lost volume over Bluetooth to my phone. Went from having a whisper of volume at 100 to way too loud for the room at 9. The best that LG could recommend on their website was use the remote to turn up the volume. Predicating of course that you know how to connect a phone to it over Bluetooth, and use the internet to troubleshoot something, but not how a remote control or the volume buttons work...
None of your methods helped me 😞 My issue is that for some reason every time I turn tv on. The input switches to hdmi 1. I have to use the remote to change it to E-Arc (this is the imput I have the soundbar connected to). But it keeps changing back. Trying to reset it or delete it from the app and begin from 0 but even that, I can’t do. 😢
It's weird that it keeps switching to HDMI 1. Maybe the TV settings are overriding it? Have you checked the TV's input settings? Sometimes they auto-switch based on what they think is active. If resetting the soundbar isn't working, it could be more about the TV than the soundbar. Also, try unplugging the soundbar for a bit, then plug it back. It's like a manual reset. Hope it gets sorted out soon!
Thanks for your replay. I was thinking the same about it being the tv itself. (Lg g3). I got around to resetting the soundbar but after all that, it didn’t help so I guess u might be the tv. I’ll reset it. Just hate having to lose all my tv settings in the process 😢
We tried everything on our LAS464B and there's still no sound. The red light keeps blinking and as far as we remember it shouldn't be when it's connected in a device via Bluetooth or wire. Can anyone help?
First thing, have you tried unplugging it for a minute or so? Sometimes electronics just need a quick break to sort themselves out. If that doesn't do the trick, check if all the connections are snug and nothing's loose. If it's still being stubborn and not showing any display even after trying to reset, there might be an issue with the display itself or something internal that's not quite right. In that case, it might be best to reach out to LG support or take it to a professional to have a look. They can give you the lowdown on what's going on and how to fix it.
@@hifiaudios8101tbh non of the method worked but lil did i know all i had to do is unplug and disconnect for 2 mins and re pair the subwoofer and now it works fine.
, you usually just need to press and hold the 'Volume Down' and 'Sound Effect' buttons on the soundbar for a few seconds. The lights should blink and then the soundbar will restart, back to its factory settings. Just make sure to check your specific model's manual in case the steps are slightly different. Hope this helps get your soundbar reset and running smoothly!
Ah, that's a bummer! Sometimes these tech things can be a real headache. If none of the reset methods worked, it might be something more serious with the soundbar. Maybe try reaching out to LG support or the place you bought it from. They might have more ideas or a fix for it.
@@hifiaudios8101 Thanks! i just started pressing every combo of buttons I could find. One of them made a loud popping noise (scary) and now it works fine. I have no idea which one it was after trying may 12-15 different combos.
Whatever Sony soundbar/woofer setup I bought over 10 years ago not only sounds better but has had less bugs/issues than my thinq one from a few years ago, could be on me and dumb luck with the model but for the price I expected more
Sorry to hear you didn't find the video helpful. Maybe I missed something? What specific part were you struggling with? I'll try to explain it better here
@hifiaudios8101 Trying to help a friend. His sound bar (SN6Y) only has four buttons, vol +/-, power, and function (F). No combination does anything, F alone toggles on the Demo mode only. The remote seems to have no combinations of buttons which work either. There are several toggles on single press and hold buttons, but no combinations seem to do anything. The subwoofer is stuck in pairing mode, constant flashing green, no red, no steady green except momentarily, sometimes. Unplugging it and holding the pairing button for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in has no effect, blinking greeen, nothing else. When I press the pairing button the light goes off or turns steady for a moment, then starts blinking again. Unplugging both, then powering on the sub and then the soundbar, also has no effect. The soundbar wants to pair, and accidently paired it with a neighbor's iPad (which we moved far out of range afterward). The sub looks like it wants to pair, bit never responds to anything. My last hope was to reset the soundbar, which is how I got here, but that's seeming a dead end, too. Help?
Hey there! Sounds like you've tried quite a bit already. It's a bit of a pickle when the standard reset options don't seem to work. Just to double-check, have you tried holding down the power button on the soundbar for about 10 seconds to see if that triggers a reset? Also, it might be worth reaching out to LG's customer support if you haven't already. They might have some more specific steps for your model. Good luck, and I hope you get it sorted out soon!
@@hifiaudios8101 Yeah, actually I commented on a similar video put out recently by LG, hoping to get a direct response like this. I tried the power button, but once I start getting frustrated sometimes I let things slip and mess up procedural timings. So I'll try it again. Thanks.

Nb5540 that does not want to connect with phone, how do i solve that problem?
Which button is the sound effect button?
Hi there, the sound effect button should be the one with a music note or says 'sound effect' on it. It's usually on the remote or the soundbar itself.

Try the reset steps in the video, should help get it off demo mode.
It’s connected but doesn’t let me turn up/down the volume.
Maybe try disconnecting and reconnecting it? If that doesn't work, a full reset might do the trick. These tech things can be finicky sometimes.

Which is the sound effects button?
My subwoofer keeps disconnecting tried the reset on the sibwoofer and nothing happens just keeps blinking red
After reset, if it's still blinkin red, might be a pairing issue. Try re-pairing it with the soundbar.
My subwoofer won’t power on at all
