Cheers Stass, that looked smashable for sure clear as a bell, tropical + coconut sounds like an island holiday drink to me... without even leaving home ha! Cheers Man thanks for sharing, Mike.
Brilliant G2G! Looks the full package with that clarity and nice creamy head. Backed up with some yummy sounding flavours! Well done. Wish I could try yours, but I do have a bottle of Karl's version to enjoy. Cheers!
Cracking job stass! Really pleased your enjoying it. I know what you mean about the coconut. I find it gives almost a creamy feel. Love it! Cheers buddy! :)
Cracking vidya Stass! I think you might be able to do a shyPA "love-in" this week.....hint hint...everyone that's tried Tom's recipe has gone wow....and asked if I was brewing it again!?
+Floor Sweepers Union love a good love in! Can't wait!! Haven't given my shyPA to anyone except Byron. The Mrs likes it though! Hope to get a bottle to yah soon
Oh yeh. Nah it's been all good. Only ever had an issue when the filter came off (black forest cake imperial stout brew day). That was once in about 50 brews. If you whirlpool and let it sit you should be all good.
Nice video, I like the whole grain to glass concept! My own grown Cascade hops are about ready to be harvested but I'm a bit unsure about the grassy green smell they give off right of the vines... Did they changed for you when they dried or when used in a brew, and is it similar to purchased Cascade?
+J B nice one. To be honest, I've never done a side by side comparison with my cascade vs commercial T90 pellets. I can say however that the flavours are similar. The vegital aroma doesn't come through into the finished beer. However, I haven't used them for dry hopping as I wanna make sure they get sanitised.
Good to hear. It all comes down to the first sip of the brew, regardless if homegrown or not. How did the Karmeliet turned out? You kegged that batch right? Belgians takes some time to mature.
+J B Tripel Karmeliet was good. Keg blew ages ago though I still have 1 bottle in the fridge waiting to see how it ages (almost a year old now). Cheers
+Ben Fuller hmm, the only thing I added was 10g calcium sulfate to bring out the hops a little. I used just tap water in Melbourne which is soft. Hope this helps. I haven't made the dive into water chemistry yet. Good luck!
Stass Brewing sounds good, I’d be looking at a light n hoppy style anyway. I’m in Melbourne too and we’re pretty fortunate with water here although I’ve found IPAs really benefit from some pseudo scientific tinkering😜

Great video stass, looking forward to trying this recipe out, friggin rights, cheers ;-)
+Homebrew Drew nottingham yeh it's definitely worth doing.
I would of thought the coconut would have caused a blockage. This brew looks absolutely amazing
Never underestimate the power of a cold crash! ;-)
Stass Brewing I mean in the grainfather , I'm hearing mixed things about using a bag or going commando. You look like you went fine though

Did you change recipe much to bump up the abv? 🍻
Ron Wales pretty sure I just scaled it all up. I subbed Tom's malts for Gladfield equivelents.
Stass Brewing I'm brewing this beer now put about 50gms of extra coconut and doubled the mosaic. Can't wait till she's ready 😊
Nice! Keep me posted!
Stass Brewing what was the ibu's on this recipe? Cheers

Mate I’ll be trying that soon, do you adjust you brewing liquor perchance? Via BruNWater? If so; what profile did you use?
