Death's accent in this movie is supposed to be Swedish. He is based on the character from the Swedish film, "The Seventh Seal," in which Death plays chess with the protagonist of the movie.
Wedgies are for the back/crack area, Melvins are for the front.

Top 3 OSW time machine nitpicks!
1. Terminator bubble can only go back in time. They made a huge deal about this in T1
2. Superman was going backwards in time not the Earth itself. We are seeing time move backwards from his perspective, the Earth isn't actually spinning backwards in reality.
3. You didn't mention the time machine in Napoleon Dynamite, clearly the best designed of them all!

Be excellent to each other! Nobody nailed the simplest rule of being a person as perfectly as Bill and Ted.
I always found Bogus Journey to be rather...off. Maybe because it was considerably darker than the first one. Excellent Journey was a lighthearted parody of sci-fi time travel tropes, but Bogus Journey kill off Bill and Ted, literally send them to Hell, and have them trying to beat the Grim Reaper in order to come back to life. Though they manage to inject some humor into things ("Best of 3? Best of 5? Best of 7?" "Damn right!"), it still feels very weird tonally. That being said, I am looking forward to Face The Music. Guessing from its trailer, they may be tackling a "Bill & Ted Multiverse" that sees them visiting alternate timelines and encountering alternate versions of themselves.
i mean the Delorean is hella awesome, but the tardis goes anywhere in time and space so that should really be #1, but the DeLorean is badass
Man, I watched this movie so much as a kid. One of the tapes in regular rotation in my VCR.
The sad thing is that if they have a 2 year record deal, then 2 years later it's 1993, metal is dead, and they have to do a desperate grunge-metal album that would flop.
And so 2020 in the Bill & Ted timeline looks like the real 2020.

When I was younger I had the novelization of this. I remember there was a demonic Easter bunny. Honestly don’t remember too much else.
Kiss is the greatest band ever. My 11 year old self marked the fuck out when I saw this in theaters. I hadn't heard the track, as it hadn't been released yet, but I KNEW the voices singing it. I get fuzzy feelings ever time I see the movie on TV.

Whopper review. It's been a while since I've seen either Bill and Ted movie but Death as a character will always be a standout from the series to me.
Mad props to Jay for remembering the fatality inputs of Mortal Kombat 2. That's the sign of a seasoned arcade veteran.
Ive watched this movie almost as many times as Dumb and Dumber which is over 50 times. Yea, I'm that guy. Loved this movie so much. Death is the show stealer. This was just a fun awesome time.

Jay is right V1. Battle of the Bands was definitely not a high school thing. Bill and Ted are at least 21, seeing as how they're drinking beer in the presence of Ted's super strict police officer dad at the princesses' 521st birthday party. They've also got their own apartment and jobs at Pretzels & Cheese. I think they were suppose to be high school seniors in the first film.
Also, Bogus Journey's plot is definitely a predestination paradox. Everyone in the future is saying "station" even before Bill and Ted bring Station back from heaven with them. Something they never could have done if they'd never been killed in the first place. De Nomolos' plan was always destined to fail.

2:10 I learned today that they changed the voice actors in the cartoon to the actors from the live action TV show during the second season so both tv shows had consistent casting because they were supposed to be on the air at the same time. But the live action movie got pushed back so far the cartoon was off the air by the time it debuted.

Apparently the director and the writers wanted to use every filming technique available at the time. CGI, stop motion, super imposing etc. The whole thing looks like everyone got to play around for 2 months
