Watched this movie a few months ago before it was announced you boys would be reviewing it. I watch old wrestling with friends, when some people can’t make it we watch a wrestler movie instead.
We were all floored when Sledge died. We were like “that guy is the main character?! Sledge is the better actor, better body, better fighter… who made this choice!?”

The whole gun in a movie poster thing is absolutely mind boggling to me. I almost exclusively agree with everything OOC says but that's a complete head scratcher. I had to actually pause the video and think of all the movies I love that have guns in the poster. I feel like this could come back to bite ya, like the circus comment from V1 all those years ago 🤣
It’s a Hollywood trope to sell the film, you see a gun you know you’re in for a popcorn action flick!
I remember his Gottschalk appearance... I was so hyped to see american wrestlers on german television and it all went to shits after Warrior showed off his upper body and Gottschalk asked Jake what he can show the audience, so Jake prompted to open his pants...
Dude, I also saw this appearance on Gottschalk, although I totally forgot about it until I saw the footage.
It takes the kind of talent of Jake to leave Gittschalk speechless XD

I had no idea this film existed until it was in the lineup for this arch. WOW, what a movie.
This movie’s decapitation scene has lived in my head for almost 30 years. I never knew the name of the movie and figured no one else had seen it so it has been a goal of mine to find this movie. Now I can thank you fine gents for helping me cross off a bucket list item. The fact that Warrior was the guy who swung the sword makes it a much more satisfying and hilarious reveal 😂

OOC the first movies that came to mind for me when you said you dont watch them if they have a gun in the poster is The Terminator and Terminator 2. A fantastic pair of movies (hopefully you agree). Also, a lot of war movies have a gun in the poster (Black Hawk Down, Saving Private Ryan, Platoon etc.) Full Metal Jacket doesn't have a gun, but it does have bullets in the poster. Ironically, a few of the all time great mob movies dont have guns on the poster is one thing I noticed (The Godfather films, Goodfellas) Scarface and Carlito's way however do have guns. Those are the good ones I could find anyways. Excellent review guys. Cant wait for Halloween Havoc 98 :D

The Fatal Deviation movie poster has literally everyone holding guns on it, despite being a martial arts movie. Which is pretty funny.
Cobra from 1986 is an 80's action classic with Sylvester Stallone and it has Sly on the cover with a gun. And of course there is The Terminator. But I am sure you've already seen that one. Universal Soldier is another gem and the poster has both Van Damme and Lundgren holding guns.
I love OOC's movie VHS/DVD rule, but surely an exception has to be Inglorious Bastards

@@peterohlhornjr It's the quintessential German trash film. A "comedy" with Thomas Gottschalk and Maik Krüger. It came out in 1984 and is completely unfunny and extremly cringey. It's also terribly dated by today's standards which makes it hard to sit through.

Tango & Cash has a gun on the cover, and it's an EXCELLENT schlock '80s action movie. Though the gun is being aimed almost entirely off of the poster and is being held by Kurt Russell, so it has a lot going for it.

With Terry Funk as the main fighting villain, and Ted DiBiase, Haku, and Dick Murdoch making cameos. Sadly, Stallone doesn't wrestle any of them in the movie
