    Awesome man! I love the R33! I’m on my second R33 build here in the states! First one was a GTS and now I have a GTR! Love the content bro! Keep it up!

      Good call! The greddy gracer ones are not as aggressive. The top secret ones look good 👍🏼

    I can appreciate the want to either heavily modify like your 32 or do an OEM + type restoration. Either way keen too see what you decide to do!

    my vote for the R33 build is just OEM+, really minor tasteful mods. would be a shame to really cut up such a nice example.

    Do the HKS 2.8/V-cam and twin upgraded turbos, big brakes ,coilovers and make a 400R replica. Perfect drivers car. Maybe R34 6 speed. Ultimate driver at 600 plus hp. Dream car.

    Im sure someone will confirm, but i dont think being a V-spec has anything to do with the old logo Nismo cluster and gauges. They would've been fitted aftermarket at some stage. The only difference to a Vspec cluster is the A-LSD light. Lovely car, beautiful example👌

    • @norrifactory
      @norrifactory  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey yes your correct. Later checking up I found the nismo dash and cluster was an add on

  • @silver33vspec

    Would loooove me some Nismo gauges… 33 looks great as a starting point. What about working with Herman at PRP for one of the first long blocks from them 🤷🏻‍♂️? Would be a monster.
    If you keep the HKS filters, I’d vapour hone (water blast) them and the cast turbo tubes. They’d pop massively when you open the hood until you decide what to start on.

    Valve covers look absolutely mint! Texture is perfect! But what made you move away from the gold?

    • @norrifactory
      @norrifactory  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man. I just wanted a less bling more oem look that was easier to look after can always go back to the gold whenever!

    pretty sure the rear spats are part of the v-spec package but the white nismo gauges and carbon wing logos are not

    • @silver33vspec
      @silver33vspec ปีที่แล้ว

      They are but they aren’t that aggressive. The Greddy ones like in the video would look better with the Nismo skirts.

    • @norrifactory
      @norrifactory  ปีที่แล้ว

      These are definitely greddy spats not nismo. The nismo ones aren’t no way near as aggressive. That’s interesting about the nismo dashes as the importer said it come form factory like that.

    • @silver33vspec
      @silver33vspec ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@norrifactory I could be mistaken but I’m sure even the VSPEC came with the regular gauges… the Nismo is an upgrade. It may have been added at the dealership but definitely an upgrade. Yeah, those spats you have are definitely Greddy… my VSPEC ones look okay but the aggressive Greddy ones would better suit the Nismo skirts I have.

    Is this a billet block thing having to check bearings etc? Or did you find magical glitter? I've only just started watching the channel so I may have missed a previous video why you did it.

    • @norrifactory
      @norrifactory  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey man. We had a power steer belt come off and take out the oil pump belt and we briefly very briefly lost oil pressure. So it was just a check. Nothing to do with the billet block.

    • @b3nny90
      @b3nny90 ปีที่แล้ว

      @norrifactory ah makes sense now. Big money if you aren't careful. Playing it safe is key. Keen to see what you do with the r33 as they are one of my jdm dream cars, everyone goes for the 32s and 34 and the 33 has always been the ugly duckling but I personally prefer them over the others.
