Hey Moga, I've been a Ningguang main for a solid 8 months now. I noticed a few things, 1. Firstly you want to use your skill, pass through the jade screen (to get the geo damage bonus) if it doesn't immediately break; use your ultimate to reset your jade screen cooldown, then press the skill again. In summary, E>Q>E. 2. Secondly, you want to be doing charge attacks with Ningguang, a majority of her damage lies in those. 3. Lastly, hold the w key while charged attacking to animation cancel, or hold the joystick in the forward direction on mobile. Enjoy!
Also, another thing he messed up: on bosses, like with other geo constructs, you don't place it on the boss's location, but rather off to the side. That way, you get both the damage and you get to keep the wall for passing through/burst-boosting.
Also, to add something, right after Placing Jade screen, passing through it, then using Burst to reset Jade screen, I think you need to wait for a couple of seconds to use it again so that it can produce particles when it hit an enemy. I think a 6 second gap from the use of Burst. (Correct me if I'm wrong but you can try it)
You know how you dislike the Oceanid fight? I highly recommend attempting it with ningguang. Eternal hydro crystallize shields plus she can hit the birds
To whom may interest, my history with ningguang: She was my first 4 star character in this game. Got her from the permanent banner during the 1.0 release. It has taken me months to build her as I have her now. She is triple crowned, has +15% geo bonus + 18% Attck bonus. 55% crit rate and 178% crit damage. With Bennet, her E does 50K damage, and her Q does around 17K per Gem. I got her C6. She has carried me through the Abyss since 1.4 She has carried me all the way through world bosses, she laughs at dvalins face, childe just panics, wolf say: Wuuuuhh! I fact, she was so OP (since 1.5) that I actually had to remove her from fighting bosses since fights were so short that wasn't even fun Lol That's ningguang. A 5 star character in disguise. However, for the love of God, put her a shield, indeed she is very easy to interrupt. You breath next to her and she stops casting her charged attack. Thanks for reading this ❤️ I love my ningguang.

I love Nukeguang. She's been my main nuker since the beginning. I underestimated her jadescreen at first but now it's so op and fun to yeet enemies. Best waifu
as a ningguang main, i just drop the jade screen slightly away from the enemy, close enough to do damage but far enough so that it doesnt shatter immediately, then i walk thru it for the geo dmg bonus. its insane how mihoyo downgraded her to 4 star but not complaining haha, easier to get her to c6

Ningguang is one of the best 4*s, and probably the best 4* DPS there is. I've been considering raising her as well, but I'm low on resources and not a whale. *looks at your fragiles*
She is the best four star DPS, overall, yeah, though her kit is rather heavily frontloaded, meaning she can really tear down enemies on the lower end of the hp spectrum (what exactly qualifies as low depending how well you've geared her), but if the enemy can survive that first combo of E->Q->E->Charged attack, her DPS while be lower for a bit until she's ready to bring the pain again. That said, if you want to use her, do keep in mind you're going to want a second geo to use with her, for the resonance. Zhongli is best, since he provides a further geo resist debuff, and a strong shield (needed for geo resonance to kick in), but Albedo, Geo Traveler, and Noelle all work.
@@pr0ntab i agree on everything expect the selfish dps part, selfish dps means they take the field 80% of the time (ex razor, xiao, etc.) and ningguang does well with quick swap teams due to her low burst cost and c2 E reset.
some tips for playing her more efficiently: hold forward while you do her normal attacks, they go much faster when you have three rocks around you, try to do a charged attack as soon as possible. they'll all shoot out and track the nearest enemy immediately after you put her jade screen on the ground, try to dash right through it for the geo bonus try to have the jade screen out whenever you use her ult, it adds more rocks to it
Tips with ningguang (if you didn’t know) -her charged attack has charges, you can get up to three charges by normal attacking which fire extra shots along with her charges -walking through her Jade screen when lvl 70+ gives 15% geo damage bonus -only use her ult when Jade screen is up -if her Jade screen breaks on impact she instantly gains the charge back Also raise lost prayers it’s insanely good, plus it gives these sigil things every 4s that they’re on the battlefield, they can stack up to 4 and give up to 32% elemental bonus for EVERY element, it’s very much worth raising especially for geo characters that can’t get such boosts from people like Kazuha Hope this helped anyone who wants to use ningguang :D
@@interialisms Skyward is a great catalyst, the thing is it is harder to build up crit with it. But if u have good crit substats on artifacts, then it's not a problem at all. It is gonna give you the higher dps than any 4* option.

she's pretty versatile like most catalysts users and even tho i have zhongli shield im not really used to it :'). im not good at using catalysts either but im still going to raise her one day
I got her early in the game and almost didn't raise her for the same reason, and I'm a Noelle main. But I listened to the community, persevered, and glad I did - because she carried me from AR20 to 50.

One of the hardest things with Ning is positioning her Jade screen. There is a certain distance where you can still hit the boss but the jade screen is intact. So you can go through Q then E CA for big burst.
Yay, I am so happy to see Ning getting some love - She is so underrated! I run her with Zhong and she is literally unstoppable. Plus, you never have to worry about fighting enemies who are immune to your elemental DMG... she just shreds everyone so easily.

When using Ninguang with Zhongli you have to remember to face away from Zhongli’s pillar when placing her Jade Screen (so that the jade screen doesn’t get destroyed). Also it’s preferred if you use your burst when your jade screen is up because it gives you more damage 😼✨
For those interested in Ningguang: when using regular attack, do 1-2 and then charge attack; when using the Skill, do your best for it to not collide with something that would destroy it (her Skill thankfully doesn't auto-aim), her Jade Screen is very important for her damage and Burst; when possible, always have the Skill up before using the Burst as it will give you extra damage, more so if you can pass through the screen right before.
Wow, loved seeing your Ningguang come out to play. Also I've found Klee's event book to be real nice on her at least until I get my Solar Pearl to rank 5. I run her mainly as a charged attacker though with a 4 piece Wanderer's Troupe. I might try the new Shimenawa's Reminiscence if I get some good pieces. Always love your vids. :D

If you can get her constellations it would help a lot. I have mine at C3 currently and she does so much damage with widsith, gladiator/archaic petra artifacts, and talents at 6-6-4

I raised so many possible dps characters but I always end up going back to Ningguang. I'm just comfortable with her play style and she's a beast especially when partnered with Zhongli
First character I tripled crowned. Gacha blessed me with a Skyward Atlas (my only 5-star weapon) as my first 5-star pull on standard banner. Will finally get her C6 hopefully next month ❤️

But her burst give big damage so 2 pc shimenawa and 2 pc archaic petra is better for main dps

When using Ninguang with Zhongli you have to remember to face away from Zhongli’s pillar when placing her Jade Screen (so that the jade screen doesn’t get destroyed). Also it’s preferred if you use your burst when your jade screen is up because it gives you more damage 😼✨
This is possibly the best time to raise this random character since you have so many resources to spare
For those interested in Ningguang: when using regular attack, do 1-2 and then charge attack; when using the Skill, do your best for it to not collide with something that would destroy it (her Skill thankfully doesn't auto-aim), her Jade Screen is very important for her damage and Burst; when possible, always have the Skill up before using the Burst as it will give you extra damage, more so if you can pass through the screen right before.

Wow, loved seeing your Ningguang come out to play. Also I've found Klee's event book to be real nice on her at least until I get my Solar Pearl to rank 5. I run her mainly as a charged attacker though with a 4 piece Wanderer's Troupe. I might try the new Shimenawa's Reminiscence if I get some good pieces. Always love your vids. :D

If you can get her constellations it would help a lot. I have mine at C3 currently and she does so much damage with widsith, gladiator/archaic petra artifacts, and talents at 6-6-4
