Moga chan is the only actual content creator(whale) I know that genuinely doesn't care much about how strong a char is or is like crazy about min maxing. He's just plain having fun, enjoying, and playing the game. Feels nice.
Yep, I like Moga as a whale and Bwaap as a f2p. Both are nice individuals and play the game for fun unlike some Man-childs in this genshin youtube community.

Honestly, the electro oceanid isn't that hard at all in terms of dodging and stuff. The annoying thing is that it teleports around 1 million times a second

Her ER turns into electro dmg after ascending to 60/70, thats why you can get away with an atk goblet since she'll already have a lot of electro dmg in her kit :)

@@Rokit360 It can be good, but its not really necessary since she has it built in her kit, her electro dmg scales of her ER so to speak (im bad at explaining sry). So if you're running an ER sands with an electro dmg goblet and think you atk is too low, try an atk goblet :)

The reason some prefer attack goblet is because:
-Emblem set gives Elemental Burst DMG Bonus
-Electro DMG Bonus and Elemental Burst DMG Bonus are additive
By 300 ER, she gets 75% Elemental DMG Bonus (max from emblem set) and 80 Electro DMG Bonus (passive). This leads to low on Attack (or rather gain more if atk goblet) since her sands is using ER and already has 155 DMG Bonus on burst.
Tho for plebs who are not using engulfing lightning, normal build (atk electro and crit with "the catch" /ER weapon) is recommended
To simply explain is:
5 x 5 = 25
6 x 4 = 24
And you can think DMG Bonus is the first number, and Attack is the second.
If it's too much, rather give it to second num and balance it, total output will be higher
I am using engulfing lightening,, is atk/electro/crit wrong in that case? My assumption was that the spear would make up for atk% lost on an electro goblet, and ER is no issue since she has 265% at 80 with a level 80 weapon.

My Raiden is staying at 60 for now lol. She has been a pain to raise and I wasn't even expecting to get her. I'm happy don't get me wrong but she doesn't even have artifacts 😅

same I got yoimiya so I wasn't expecting to win the 5050 for baal but I did and here I am with no talent book nor weapon or artifacts farmed XD but I went on a farming journey today and got her to lv 70 unascended but her talents can only be 144 rn since I missed her book day
Usually take 2 weeks for me to upgrade a character to 80 and usable talents. Not including artifacts
I saved all my fragile and transient resins for Ei and immediately got her to 80. She is so fun to play with.

Raiden's normal attacks don't affect her burst attacks, since those are counted as burst dmg. Also, sadly beidou's q doesn't proc while raiden's in her sword form, since they only work with normal attacks, not burst attacks

she’s so fun to play! I got her c1 at 5 pity and decided to go all the way to 90 rather then the 80 I was going to go to first. she hit my first 105k too, I’m really glad I decided to roll for her!

I've tested Electro Goblet vs ATK Goblet with the same team and full stack chackra , the damage output from ATK Goblet with ER sands is higher then ER sands with Electro Goblet. My weapon of choice is R2 Deathmatch and full set Emblem
if you have her weapon then er, electro is better

@@johnnylofman isn’t the higher er the better? u get a ton of electro dmg with like an er of 300%, someone did a c0 ei 300% er with atk cup and it was incredibly strong, so the er sands and atk cup might be the best, with er being as high as possible for maximum dmg
@@johnnylofman You need 200+ ER for Raiden. So even if you have her weapon, you still need to have a load of ER.

Without bogging you down with a math lesson, if built correctly her 2nd passive will innately grant her well over 60-70%+ electro damage already, however, she has no way to boost her raw attack so using an atk% goblet will be a much larger boost in her damage than more electro% based on how damage is calculated in this game.

I've lost every 50/50 since last year when I first started. I hate this game, I literally have c3 diluc as f2p
Don't lose hope if you want to get something. Never. I lost the 50/50 to Diluc (C1 which is bruh moment) But I got enough primos to get back to 55 pity. Probably will need a guranteed. But it doesn't matter. Good luck and have fun with whatever you do. Do what you wish to. Have a good day.

I have her guaranteed but (as a fellow f2p player) I have officially ran out of primogems so, as per tradition, I will give up and start saving for the next banner characters! So I will try my best at Kokomi’s banner! Good luck to everyone else trying to pull Baal/Ei/Raiden though!
Its recommended to go ATK% goblet if you go ER% sands because the electro% goblet would be based on your attack, and your attack would be very low so you'd get more off of going atk%
@Kael quite sure anytime you use ER sands you'd be better off with an ATK% goblet, even with homa. Though Homa might make it better for you to have an ATK% sands then electro % goblet, but the dmg will end up being quite comparable both ways

@@anjalinair3241 electro goblet will be better with Homa. Atk goblet was only like 4% better than electro goblet on engulfing lightning which gave like 80% ER. Without that ER on the weapon the electro goblet will pull ahead or at worse be even. I would say whichever has better subs.
You have to try her with Eula, the two are perfect together. Constant superconduct, boosts Eula's insane ult, and helps with Eula's ER issues. I rolled her literally just for my Eula.
Electro Dmg Goblet is okay as long as you run Atk% sands especially since you have Engulfing Lightning. It’s ideal to run at least one atk% in either the sands or the goblet.
My artifacts are limited but I have an Atk% sands and an Electro goblet, and my circlet is atk% because I didn’t get very many good artifacts that have energy recharge so I had to improvise

I can bring myself to watch people do hard work, yet not do hard work myself. My Raiden is at level 40 and I'm still in the middle of the quest.

For the initial showcase, going with level 80, 6/6/6 talents and a 4-star weapon at level 80 is a good measure on what F2P players can achieve easily. For the godmode video you can go all out to showcase whale power.

It’s not that too much electro damage is bad. It’s just better to get more atk% once your electro dmg bonus is high enough because the dmg multiplier is multiplicative. An easy way to explain this is like 5x5=25 is better than 9x2=18. At least thats how I understand it. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

Your right for general play, but if you run an attack buffer like Bennett or Sara with Raiden. It’s better to have an electro goblet because your getting a 600-900 attack boost on a good / decently built Bennett or Sara.
TDLR: run a combination of ER (or attack) sands and Attack goblet for general use. Or use ER (attack) sands with an electro goblet if you plan to use an attack buffer.
@@avishaikeshet6935 Because of how much electro damage she gets in her kit while stacking high energy recharge, adding more electro damage gives diminishing returns. Meaning the multiplier is smaller the more she already has. This is why attack % goblet is recommended, as the attack bonus will allow her to do more electro damage due to the attack multiplier being more effective in this case.
@@saberflame2095 That's actually wrong. Stats in this game have no diminishing returns except enemy resist reduction below 0%.
It's "Diminishing returns" in the sense that because you're building so much Electro dmg, there's an opportunity cost in terms of the potential dmg you can get via building other stats instead, aka ATK, Crit etc.
However, if you're using Bennett, Sara, Yoimiya or some other char with Noblesse Oblige, who can buff up your ATK, then since Electro dmg>ATK, and you're already getting more ATK from other sources, Electro dmg goblet is thus better. This has alrdy been debunked in Raiden mains.
@@kyvan_unheist8584 I think a good albeit oversimplified way to explain it (Since there's other values at play too) is to assume that final dmg output is: ATK x Electro DMG%
Something like 20 x 60 would equal 1200 while something like 40 x 40 would equal 1600. The sum of both stats adds up to 80 but the more even spread produces a higher overall result.
Goin too hard into electro dmg% while neglecting atk a bit too much would be similar to picking 20 x 60 over 40 x 40 in this case.
This is also why like you said having a benny around can really help even the playing field cuz it helps a ton with making the ratio nicer.
*Challenge to you(day 3)* : Use only characters who apply mark namely Childe, hu Tao, qiqi, yoimiya and fight world bosses as well abyss.
All marks should be applied constantly on enemies.

She is super fun. I only have 107% crit dmg on her and she does almost 60k on her initial burst slash witb 3 4 4 talents. She is fun with hutao and xingqiu as well. So many pretty numbers

I remember when I found out me and moga started genshin on the same day. When I joined, my best character was razor and I watched him get Keqing. I used to pronounce it as ke king just like him. Crazy to see how he’s an endgame player and I still only have the first island unlocked for inazuma.
Do not build beidou to pair her with raiden, that is because Raiden’s ult doesnt allow beidou’s ult to proc in her own ultimate duration. This is the result of either a glitch, or an unnanounced nerf, since raiden worked with beidou in the beta.
Well i would say it is because now raiden ult is just a fully ult skill and not infusing the basic attack, so thats why it doesnt triggers the beidou ult
trigger's fischl's c6 and xingqiu's ult, though... so it is likely it's a bug...
@@MTEllipsis Mihoyo has confirmed this is the intended interaction and not a bug. Fischl c6 and XingQiu procs on PERFORMING a normal attack, while Beido works on HITTING a normal attack. Raiden performs normal/charge attacks, but does a hit of elemental burst damage, which is why Fish and XQ works but not Beido. That being said I do hope they change it so it does work, it feels really unintuitive. Anyway hope this helps explain it.

to explain element % bonus the easy way is that it scales with your ATT% so in a sense it would be better to just run ATT%. YOU STILL CAN RUN ELECTRO % but if you want more damage go att% this is mostly valid for anyone with high energy recharge / running wep with energy recharge

also, im not quite sure about talent priority, but you might want you normal atk higher than your E, since it can only hit every 0.5 seconds
But if you are running her as a battery suport, skill has priority over normal!

about the electro goblet i think what those people mean is that if you already have sufficient electro dmg bonus, you should go atk for more consistent dmg (especially if you're going ER sands or if you're building her sub dps) but just choose the one with better substats. that statement is relevant for mostly mid maxers and 80% of the player base. also since you got the signature weapon which has a lot of atk, an electro dmg bonus goblet would do just fine. just make sure electro dmg bonus doesn't go over 100%
Moga, just in case, when leveling up a character, you can hold the plus button to add books faster

I just realised, if you weapons to attributes, the polearm can manually disappear, like it had a pose to get it away
since you have engulfing lightning, your ideal artifact main stats will be energy recharge, electro, crit. an atk goblet only applies if you dont have alot of atk on her and you’re purely stacking energy recharge to make use of her passive and emblem. in the long run electro dmg bonus goblet will increase her dmg if you can get atk from other places like bennett, sara, and her weapon
The reason why u want to run ATK% Goblet when running ER sands is because Raiden will lack ATK if she doesn't
Also, Raiden's Burst doesn't work with Beidou's Burst
im not gonna lie but baal literally stood up to all the hype that was going on about her. like she proved that yes SHE IS WORTH ALL THE HYPE. but sara???? DUDE idk why but i felt kinda disappointed using her, i was expecting more from her
I didn't even want to have her but playing Sara in free trial really felt underwhelming. Guess she's just supposed to be buff support.
trust me dude she does not fulfill the hype, only a couple more days and people will be complaining like how they did with Zhongli. now don't think I hate Raiden because I don't, she's currently tied with Hu Tao for my favorite character in the game but it's just the truth that she's not that good

Yo Mogawty. Some time ago I saw a graph where all of her Weapons were presented and damage scenarios with different artifact mainstats. For Engulfing Lightining use ATK% Sands and Electro Goblet for biggest dmg output. May your Raiden be blessed
The idea behind the Atk% Goblet is that you don't want to stack too much Damage% into one pot. Basically all damage modifiers(Electro damage%, burst damage mods from her ult stacks and Emblem, etc) are calc'd in a different pot from Atk%, so when you stack a ton of one and not the other, your returns diminish.
The common example is 5x5=25, but 6x4=24, and 7x3=21, and so on and so on. She gets an Electro Goblet's worth of damage% for free from her passive if you stack enough Energy Recharge, but she's missing Atk% elsewhere from her build, so an Atk% goblet balances that out for more damage.

As a free to play I feel sooo lucky I got her^____^ It just so happened that I lost the 50/50 on Ayaka's banner and skipped Yoimiya's banner so I saved up the primogems and got my guaranteed Ei on this banner ^_____^ Shes currently level 40 and I want to raise her, but I want to get "the catch" first so I can raise them both at the same time. I'm also going with electro damage goblet and attack % sand. If both the weapon and the artifact set give her ER I don't think ER sand is necessary especially if her ER is that high from just leveling her up. Plus I'll make sure there are ER sub stats on her artifacts. raising her will take so much time and resin :DDD

I rolled and got her currently running Eula, Shogun (Ei), Rosaria, and Bennett shogun is running ER sands and Atk Gob and is running my lvl 90 Deathmatch and is genuinely the best character to put into that comp cause using her E then using the bursts of all other characters gets her to like the last 1/6 of her charge then if u have good ER on your supports you cast them again and then go to town with Shogun’s burst

Hey. We have the same attack stat. Her ultimate is out of this world BTW. Best support with any proper damage dealer, and a decent damage dealer herself. People, pull for her if you can. If you get decent artifacts and a proper weapon for her, you can one shot hordes of Nobushi's pretty easily.
Shes an amazing support/sub dps. A lot of potential for sure

i’ve seen ppl say beidou + raiden nerfs her, but i think you should raise beidou ! i main her, and shes a very good dps, or even just electro dmg !! i’m rlly looking forward to seeing you hopefully raise her :)
People were talking about using atk% for goblet since she would lack atk from using energy recharge in the sands. However, since you have her weapon which buffs her atk, if you use her in a team with 2pyro, or bennett or kujou sara buff, or other characters with 4 pc noblesse (basically something that already buffs your team's atk) I don't think it's a problem to go with electro goblet. if you use kazuha with her tho I'd go with the atk thing. since you have her weapon thats really good for her, you can choose and try to balance her multipliers
To put it simply diminishing return, if u stack to much atk% instead of crit dmg for ex you would get a diminishing returns, and the other way around too. So getting more elcetro would start to give you diminishing returns

For those who is interested in Ei’s artifact optimization: i suggest
Using a Atk or Crit base weapon: ER sands and Electro Goblet
Using ER base wep: Atk sands and Eletro goblet
Using Engulfing Lightning: ER sands and Atk goblet
I think the best part of her burst dmg increase and cooldown reduction is that she will also support really any future characters.
If you have around 200% ER you will get 50% electro dmg bonus, (not to mention ele burst dmg bonus from ele skill and 4 set severed fate) that’s why you don’t really need electro dmg bonus since burst dmg bonus and electro dmg bonus are additive and you will be lacking attack stat
adding the energy recharge artifacts are most important
im still debating whether or not to pull for her more, im at 61 pity and it’d be a 50/50, and im trying to save for albedo but man, she’s so cool and i love her lore and shes so pretty aaaah

As f2p the attack goblet helps because without her weapon it's kinda hard to reach a decent amount of attack , it's easier to get really high energy recharge and then by her passive getting a decent amount of electro dmg . But all depends in the artifact rolls

So, about ATK% goblet
She has so many Bonus% increases(which all stack additively), that a ATK chalice scales better. She has:
- Emblem conversion to Burst%
- Talent conversion of ER to Electro%
- Burst% (If using the catch)
You don't have much option for ATK% if you use a ER sand(Which you should, to boost the emblem, the engulfing lightning(if you have it) and her ER to Electro%), so you "sacrifice" the goblet to have more even distribution between raw attack and damage boosts(think like Crit, you need to have a good division between them to maximize output)
Appreciate that Moga loves characters despite they are not meta
Tested electro vs atk % goblet and electro goblet did 4k more dmg on ult and the atk % had higher crit/crit dmg. tested both staff of homa and engulfing lightning on her.
If you need anything to respawn fast such as bosses just interact with anything such as find hili to beat or samurai to beat the go back to the boss you were waiting for it to respawn then boom has respawn so it doesn't matter even if u killed the hili in 5 sec.. will make boss to respawn ASP.
But if you are on someone's world it means applies to the owner of the world but for the co-opt has to leave the area while the owner of the world interact with hili killing or samurai killing doesn't matter for the boss to respawn
Full set of Emblem of Severed Fate and focus on energy recharge ONLY and prioritize her burst! Her sword mode auto-attack still counts as burst
After getting baal I'm telling you, using her with hu tao and xingqui is so god damn satisfying with all the numbers popped off and insane burst uptime.

You start getting DR on elemental dmg bonus around 100%. So with her grass cutter you want ER sands and attack% goblet. But substats is king so go with the one you have the best subs for.
Also moga just incase wanted to tell you since baals burst counts as ult damage and not normals she can't proc beidous burst which basically means she has a negative synergy with beidou
her burst is a good pair with Yoimiya's burst too for aoe overloaded
I have a favonius lance on her and it works pretty well!

I was somehow lucky enough to not only to get her on my FIRST ROLL on her banner, but I got 2 of her! Now I’m just saving for her Naginata.
Actually you can just go for the electro dmg goblet if you want since you have her weapon which like her talent, converts ER but to atk%, fixing your lack of atk% issue.
For showcases, 80/90 seems best. You often get a boost from ascending (crit, elemental, etc etc). All my characters get pushed to 80/90, any additional leveling is from organically accrued exp. (only 1 lvl81 right now)
I like the lvl 70 showcase bc that's usually where I get characters unless I'm really going to end up maining with them.
You have her weapon that's why it synergizes with the ER/ATK/Crit build since it uses your ER stat to add up to your attack.
Also, Raiden utilizes her ER on her whole kit (her electro DMG, her battery ability, 90-cost burst) that's why you need to go overboard with ER.
Electro DMG has diminishing returns above 100% like ATK% and afaik, that only adds up to the 4pc Emblem set bonus so using a electro cup has lesser value.
Also 4pc Emblem refers to your ER as well so in summary: ER/ATK/Crit is the way to go.
There are people saying that you can also run ATK/ATK/Crit but personally, I'd like to use her burst more often so I opted with her suggested build above.
