    Knitting colorwork inside out so that the floats are on the outside helps with tensioning tremendously, especially on small circumferences like hats, mittens, and sleeves. You can find a ton of videos that explain it I'm sure. It sounds complicated, but it's not. Total game changer for me.

    Loved your video! So many projects. I'm a mono knitter and just started "The Classic" sweater actually inspired by the Marseille striped sweater but wanted a mock turtleneck instead. Will see how it goes just finished the short rows around the neck!! Really like the Mille sweater you will knit your husband - the collar is great. Was thinking of the Timberline sweater for my significant other but too taunting for me. Now the Mille looks doable.

    So happy I found your channel! I cast on my second sock of a pair that I'm working on while traveling to the PNW this week. It's interesting to hear the yardage issues with the Book Club Cardigan. I'm currently working on it, but with yarn that I stashed for a different project that required more yardage so I'm hoping I should be ok since it was purchased over a year ago and there would be no way to get my hands on the same dye lot. Eeek!

      @@morganunraveled Thank you. I’ve got the basic idea from „fromcarlyb“ and chanced it a bit: I use cotton embroidery thread and twill tape. If the knit is bigger I also add stamp on washing information. This is super useful for my sewing makes as well. Sometimes I use the handwriting from my husband (carbon paper for transfer). 🥰

      hahah I’m always knitting so many things 😂 yes! I have 3 US library cards - we’ve moved a lot in the past 8 years ahaha my husband was US military! but a lot of the time the audiobooks have a long waitlist and I don’t always finish them in time! I waited 10 or so weeks on the Well of Ascension audiobook, but I often also watch knitting podcasts or shows while knitting so I don’t usually finish the entire audiobook in the 14 days before it goes to the next person!

    Hi Morgan. I absolutely loved every part of your video. The Bookclub Cardigan is definitely on my To-Knit-List, I've made an Arctic Light Sweater in off-white and think about knitting another one in dark navy/ midnight blue. On my needles right now is a Teddybear Coat by Klompelompe for my 6yo.
    Concerning books there is only one thing to say really: Everything coming from Brandon Sandersons mind is pure gold! The Mistborn Series is amazing and it is (imho) not even his best series. I'm currently rereading The wheel of time Series, which he completed and The Lord of the Rings, because you can never have enough high fantasy in your life. The Shepherd King Series sounds fun, I'm bookmarking that for after I finish my current books.
    Thanks again for your video, it was a lot of fun.

      It's the Stormlight Archives. It's still a work in progress though and the waiting in between books seems infinitely long....
      There are 4 main books at the moment and a couple of novellas.
      As a standalone book I'd recommend "Elantris".
      The fun thing about his books is, that everything is kinda connected. So you'll find some characters popping up all over the place. Never out of place though. 😊

      @morganunraveled  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      thank you! that sounds very helpful, I will definitely look into that! at the beginning of this pattern I didn’t know how to really read the work of the colorwork pattern in the rows below yet, so I was just following the chart & counting my stitches as I went, 3 sts white then 1 lilac, etc. I think on the row I messed up my count somewhere along the way and just didn’t know the difference because I wasn’t referencing the colorwork below. by the end of the beanie I was able to work the chart repeats based around the row below rather than counting as much! very much a good colorwork practice knit :)

      I think so!! just take it one section at a time & anytime you don’t know how to do a stitch, look up a tutorial!! I also highly suggest doing the Salty Days KAL along with me, which I just announced in my video today. its sections of chart knitting but not as intimidating because it feels like one new thing per section rather than a bunch of sections to navigate at the start! plus Kika has an entire video tutorial on that knit so that can help to hold your hand through the process!!
