Wow… thank you so much… this was extremely helpful! Our dog has a heart tumour and we have just totally changed his diet in the last two weeks. He used to just have cooked chicken plus dry food (kibble). I ditched the kibble and he now has meat + vegies + several supplements, including CBD, fish oil, prebiotics and Turkey tail medicinal mushrooms. I will add turmeric very soon. I also make him a bone broth. He has always had stomach issues and also had his spleen removed two years ago due to a benign tumour. Not sure if he can safely have raw food without a spleen?? I’m currently making all his meals in the slow cooker (crockpot).
