    Edd still restores cars, he is now busy restoring an old Range Rover from 1986, you can see that on his TH-cam channel simply called Edd China.

      Some youtuber should do the best and worst Wheeler Dealers episodes.

    When the show was good , edd is such a nice guy, how brewer still manages to get on television I have no clue !!!!

      Because he's a good presenter and knows his stuff....? I don't understand the obsession with disliking Mike Brewer.

    Ed is a mechanical genius sorely missed

    The profit figures never include Edd’s time to repair the car?!?

    • @richardburns5925
      @richardburns5925 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a TV show. When they announce the profit made, if you took in the time, effort and resources, sourcing parts, doing the job, renting the workshop, paying utility bills, buying tools and actually two guys making a personal living, it doesn't add up. It's a TV show and I enjoy it 👍

    • @64bakes

      Lots of people always say this and they're missing the point. It's an entertainment show for people that might want to try some DIY repairs themselves, but on the show they obviously move the car on at the end.

    "Edd China attaches a brand new wing to the Toyota MRII ready for MARK to flip."
    MARK? The fact they can't even get Mike's name right in the description really shows who the star of the show was!

    Note how all the recent videos titles start with "Edd China.....". Trying to take advantage of people looking for his own now nearly million sub channel?

    • @calibrazxr750
      @calibrazxr750 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Or perhaps they are simply giving an accurate description of the video content. Was Edd China the mechanic that was featured or not?

    • @me282uk
      @me282uk 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@calibrazxr750 The other mechanics haven't had their names in the title in the last 5 months. Even if it's just a new way of titling, you'll see all the recent episodes with Edds name, but just 2 days ago a different mechanic didn't get the same treatment. In the last 11 videos, Edd gets used in the title 9 times out of 9, and the other mechanics 0 times out of 2...

      @@me282uk That is largely irrelevant and simply a small point that you are focusing on to support your own personal point of view. Maybe there is an element of validity to it, but it is purely speculation and assumption, neither of which I place any kind of value on. The rights to the videos are held by the production company, as far as i am aware, so they are free to do what they like with them. Edd has his own channel, Wheeler dealers is still going strong, so there should be no discord from anyone. Never lose sight of the fact that Edd was the one who quit. not without just cause, I might add, but he was still the one that walked out. Personally, I find the most recent episodes of WD far more entertaining and interesting than Edd's current offerings. But that is just my view.

    I sincerely don't respect this channel. First, they fire Edd. Then, use his material as if it was new in order to make money off of his work. #norespect

    • @calibrazxr750
      @calibrazxr750 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Well, I sincerely don't respect your knowledge. Edd wasn't fired, he quit and it is not his material, it belongs to the company that produced the show, Edd was simply an employee. It would be like your company continuing to use your image on advertising leaflets, if the pictures were taken with your consent, whilst you were under contract. #youareanidiot, #dosomeresearch.

      It was Edds decision to leave, and who says this was new material?
