I sat and watched all parts with great attention as Craig was extremely thorough in laying the detailed history of how and what came to be FORBIDDEN. Couldn't stop watching and cracked a cold one at midnight. This was so entertaining
In 1989 I was in 9th grade, had been playing guitar for 2 years and had a metal band w friends from school called Wraith. I remember having band practice right after school, we'd watch Cliff Em All and Ultimate Revenge II on VHS and then go downstairs and thrash away. We actually played a couple local shows at Blondies (the 'CBGBs' of Detroit) at the time, which was pretty cool for a 14 year old. Great memories.
Craig besides a great guitarist, he's extremely cool. Now as a guitarist, he's freaking awesome. His ways of structuring and the ambiance of his sounds are fantastic.
Zetro, Craig, you guys were lucky to be in the Bay Area in the 80's and have this community of people. Count your blessings. I was a teenaged metalhead in the non-metal 90's in Delaware - just not the name. Great interview, I'm really looking forward to part two. Also amazed at no matter the genre of music, The Beatles touch everyone. Me too.

Been listening to Omega Wave a lot recently. Great album. Crazy that it's been 11 years since it came out. Time flies. It's a shame Forbidden haven't put out another album since.

I saw Craig & Forbidden live in Morecambe the U.K. supporting Sacred Reich, it was an awesome show & I have great memories from it!! I do remember Russ being a huge guy!! Great frontman!! Craig locicero is the fucking man. He certainly had influence and power over the structure of my guitar playing in highschool. So fun to have grown up in the era of thrash metal revival. Nothing compares to the 80s id imagine but for this type of music 2010 - 2018ish was probably the next best thing
And these fellas including pretty much the entire bay area scene will remain relevant forever now since here's no grunge part 2 or reliance on mainstream media or air play to keep the content going. The internet has worked wonders. Don't listen to the downers. Thrash lives in the Heart forever
