A song that was made for a game where the M.C. goes against the Organization he stood for because it turned its back on him, An AMV made for a character who's creators turned their backs on his potential, _"Cast out and Now I'm on My own"_ A line that really hits the tragedy that be fell him
@@randomone1879 No, it doesn't, Adam didn't die for fan service, and he won't be brought back for fan service. No one would be happy if Adam was brought back, neither the people who were happy he died or the people who were upset with his death, and the writers aren't so stupid as to not recognize that.
loved adam, he was interesting and badass, that said they sorta dragged him out. so killing him was a no brainer, still though, wished they at least gave him some better final words
imagine Adam being an actual morally grey character and not some creepy ex. I would've loved to see an Adam who considered Blake not his problem anymore. where during the scene in Beacon, he never calls her "my love", treats her like he was her former mentor (like Blake ACTUALLY SAID DURING VOLUME 2) and does everything he can not to harm her because he refuses to harm a fellow faunus but is willing to kill humans, then after beating Yang, he leaves Blake alone and rejoins his brothers to destroy Beacon god, he would've been so much better
I’m baffled as to why people keep bringing up Blake’s line about him being “only” a mentor. Putting aside the fact that Blake might just have been being cagey about the past, why couldn’t someone be both of those roles? Just think about how many anime have someone crushing on a “senpai.” The first time we meet Adam, literally before the show properly started, he’s trying to blow up a train full of innocent people. Volume two had him sending his soldiers on a kamikaze mission so that the citizens of Vale would be eaten in the streets by Grimm. That’s not a line that “anti-heroes” cross. Not Punisher, not Venom not Deadpool, not Red Hood. This all happened when Monty Oum was still alive, so I’m not sure what you’ve been projecting on.
@@jiado6893 Jacob Bielski or maybe you're just in denial with how blindly loyal you are to this show (ironic since we're talking about Adam) did it not cross your mind that: 1) He did not care about the passengers in the train because they're humans and he could care less about them. he fights for the Faunus, not for the filthy assholes that discriminated his race 2) The fact that he began caring less and less for his own kind and he starts becoming a creepy ex to Blake basically has the writers retcon it all. Black trailer never showed hints of them being in a relationship. Adam felt more in charge during the whole situation. he didn't even say anything when they both get blasted out of the door other than to have Blake buy him time. they retconned everything about him
@@Jaded_Jinx I'm not some loyal fanatic just because I enjoyed the current product. I actually couldn't stand the first volume of RWBY, and dropped it. A year later, I saw how polished volume 3 was, and just powered through the first to get to the better stuff. When Blake says "Goodbye," and Adam has his hand reached out in stunned silence, you really couldn't pull ANY romantic connotations from that? I fully agree that Adam seemed to be a leader of the White Fang, and giving Blake orders, but that doesn't preclude any kind of romantic intention. There's plenty of movies and anime about relationships between a team of soldiers, cops or superheroes. The fact that part of your arguments relies on the fact that he doesn't consider human beings to be full-on people worthy of life doesn't help the argument he's "morally grey," and not a violent broken man. As for how he treats the Faunus, both times he sets Grimm loose on the city of Vale, that was still going to kill a freaking ton of Faunus, don't you agree?
After I saw Eruption Fang's videos, I have a newfound appreciation for him. Before, I always saw him as wannabe Vergil with Sam's sword. But given what he was originally shown to be, yeah. That's what he should have stayed as. He could have been so much better than he was.
Wannabe Vergil? 😂😂 That’s a new one to me! But seriously, the most justice they did for Adam was the song Nevermore, which pointed out to the fans that his death wasn’t to be revelled in. His death was painful for Blake, hell even for Yang. Revenge isn’t nearly as easy as people think it is. It can sometimes fuck you up worse than what led to the need for revenge, as clearly shown by Blake’s immediate breakdown after Adam falls from the cliff. Adam was a broken Faunus who shattered more and more as the show progressed until we saw the shell of a Faunus that Yang and Blake fought in Argus. Adam Taurus deserves more backstory, and whilst I don’t fully blame Kerry and Miles for not wanting to tamper with Monty’s work, it led to an almost dry character. Sometimes, you need to say fuck it when dealing with an incomplete story, even if you risk offending the memory of that person. Miles and Kerry have been tiptoeing to the point of creating plot holes
This was nice, kinda sucks that whenever something remotely related to Adam appears, people appear to complain about how his character did a total 180 to just hurt Blake, as if nearly every other scene of him in the show has not been so.
I honestly think Adam was originally ment to be able to fight all of team rwby, he has history with both Blake and Wiess, his semblance is a lot like Yangs and he has the same colors and a rose crest like Ruby.
Am I the only one who thinks that Adam got nerfed. I mean sure yang and Blake could have gotten stronger but repeatedly throughout the show we were reminded that Adam was one of the strongest villains shown at the time and both Blake and yang together could not have hoped to defeat him. Sure time since beacon has passed but Adam literally beat both of them and crippled yang without even trying. There is no way they got strong enough to beat him this fast.
I actually think Adam's death was super unfair. If you think about it, he was treated like a bigger threat than *Cinder*. But he was killed that easily? If I got to write a final battle for him, I'd; 1. Have it so *only* Blake killed him. (Yes, he cut Yang's arm off, but that's all he did to her. Blake genuinely deserved the glory for herself.) 2. It would've been either later in the series, or during a more important battle. Adam deserved to die like the warrior he was. 3. It would've been a lot harder to kill him. Like, it would require a much better strategy than "Hit him with a bike and use the power of love."
"all he did to her?" It took her out of the story for an entire volume, hacked a chunk of her off, and gave her PTSD. What show did you watch? Blake was incapable of fighting Adam on her own. She was to scared of him. She didn't have the experience or skill to fight him and win on her own, add all those together and he would have killed her. Adam needed to get out of the way. He's been in the series long enough, he played his purpose. He was there as a stepping stone for Blake *AND* Yang to overcome. That's the whole point of them fighting him together, to show Yang's improved as a person and a fighter, and Blake can do this with her friends if she stops running. Adam was seriously screwed in the head. Completely unhinged and that showed throughout the entire fight. He wasn't even a shadow of the guy we saw in Beacon. That, plus seeing a partnership he no longer had with Blake reflected back at him made him reckless.
@@ANite-vx1vk I agree as Blake said, he followed her across Emina (is that right?) He completely ignored his main task as A.) the leader of the White Fang, and B.) Helping Salem control the world. I believe he got what deserved but at the same time they could have buried him. At some point he was a person, and a true to all, no that doesnt justify his actions, but he still deserves to be buried instead of just falling off a cliff banging his shin on the way down and just *plop*
I recall thinking that Yang's final strategy against Adam was actually pretty good. She fights much more defensively than usual, neither leaving herself open like she did at Beacon nor allowing Adam to charge up his semblance very much. When he does keep using it in lower-powered bursts, she's ready and blocks it with her gauntlets, charging up her own semblance without taking too much damage. And she doesn't unleash her semblance until she's caught his sword, both robbing him of his main attack (and defense) and setting it up so she cannot miss. She's clearly put a lot of thought into how to defeat him, while he's barely even thought about her, and it shows.
This... this is my version of the figth. I find a way to keep him alive and bring Ruby and Weiss to the figth. Here’s the thing: The after Blake fly away to the cliff and almost fall and when Yang had to figth Adam by her self, she tough she can handel Adam by her own, but her PTSD started to to crazy, she can vearlly stand against him or even move, untill Adam hits Yang (Not a Slap, a simple hit like shot his katana) and her scroll flys away to Blake, Blake grabs Yang’s scroll and call for help to Ruby. Ruby answers her scroll: Ruby: Yang!! What’s going on?!! Where’s Blake?!!! Blake: Ruby!! It’s me Blake!!! Ruby: Blake!!! What happend?!! You were suppose to shot down the tower!! What’s going on?!! And where’s Yang?!!! Blake: ... It’s Adam!!! Adam Taurus is here! Weiss: Wait! Adam?!!! Your old partner of the White Fang!!! Blake: Yes! Weiss: What is he doing here?!! Blake: He is after me! Yang is figthing against him but she I don’t know how much she an handle him!! Ruby: hang in there we’re coming!! Blake: What?! No!! He is... Ruby ends the call* Blake: something you can’t handle Ruby: I’m sorry guys but... Jaune: No! I understand, go and help your team! We can win this figth! Ruby: Thanks... Weiss brings her gigant ghost Grimm Wasp and Ruby and Weiss go to help Blake and Yang. Meanwhile Blake manage to climb the cliff only to see Yang getting beat up and get K.O. Adam: Stay down! I’ll deal with you later Adam approachs to Blake and he strikes Blake with his sword. Adam: Now... you are all alone Blake! No one will come to rescue you! Adam is about to make the final hit to Blake but Ruby and Weiss arrives just in time to call his attention. Ruby: HEY!! STAY AWAY FROM HER!!! Adam turns half of his head (not showing his scar) to see Ruby and Weiis Adam: Oh, Ajajaja!! What is this Blake? A couple of kids come to your rescue? You become more patetic since you left me. Weiss: Don’t you dare ti hurt her!!! Ruby: Weiss wait!!! Adam was about to stab Blake until he hear that name, he realize he was standing behind a Schnee. Weiss: We can’t let him do this!! Ruby: But... Adam: WAIT!!! WEISS?!!! WEISS SCHNEE?!!! Adam turns completely to see Weiss face to face, and when Weiss saw the scar on Adam’s face she couldn’t believe it. Adam: THIS! Is what your family have been doing for years!!! And you still are surprise?!! Adam knocks out Blake. Adam: Stay down!! I’m going to end some old deals I have!!! What’s next is a figth between Ruby and Weiss against Adam. Meanwhile Jaune realize who Adam is and he calls for help to Cordovin. Yang finally wake up only to realize her sister is figthing the man who cut off her arm. Yang: Stay away from my SISTER!!! Then Yang joins the figth and eventually Blake to. With the four members of team RWBY figth Adam they got more possibilities to defeat Adam, but he is still to strong, but then Cordovin arrives to stop Adam, Adam refuses to stop and Cordovin shot him with the cannon, they thought it was over, but in reality he used the attack to charge up and destroy the cannon. Team RWBY was decided to stop him once for all, Adam was really tire but still on foot, until finally Ruby and Yang destroys Adam’s sword and broke his aura, he was on the grounds and Blake was standing in front of him with her sword. Adam: just do it... kill me... I don’t have anything or anyone to lose anyway Adam on the ground is ready to face his final destiny, and leaving a couple of tears fall of his eyes, Blake was about to do it, but she don’t, throws away her sword Blake: No! I’m not ending this that way! This is not the solution! She finally brakes the cicle and end this in a non violent way. Finally Adam is under arrest, with no help, no one to help him, and with no goal, but before he is taken away to go to prison: Weiss: Wait! I have something to say. She stands in front of Adam but he don’t have the brave to see her face to face. Weiss: In the mane all the Schnee family I want to say... I’m sorry... Adam: Uh?... Weiss: Now I realize what my father did to you... to all the Faunus... and I want to apologize for that. And I promise, I will stop this. Adam just stay in silence without saying a word, Weiss starts to walk away from him but: Adam: Why?... Weiss: Uh? Adam: my people and I had been killing people from Atlas and your employees for years, stealing supplies from you and causing terror all around the world... but you still show some empathy for me?... Why? Weiss: Because until today, I didn’t realize how my father treat the Faunus. Blake: But together, we can end this. Adam is taken to a military truck to be taken to a prison. Adam:... pherphas... I was really wrong, and you were right Blake...
this is the first time i every seen Adam from RWBY since i don't watch and i got attached to him so fast and almost cried when he died in the most stupid way
oddly enough this makes me feel better just had a crushing blow because a girl i liked likes my friend and played around with me..just watching this video of adam kicking ass and such along with the music..it makes me feel better...ADAM TAURUS ROCKS even if he was a villain he is my favorite character in the rwby series
RIP Adam Taurus, may you be forever known to the stars, and your hatred ever boil. Brilliant, btw, slower than usual, but I'm amazed you got so much of him, some of those scenes I don't even remember.
I don't understand why people are saying they treated his character any different than when Monty was still alive and part of the show. The difference to me is just that by volume 3, he finally got time to actually have a conversation with someone. Before then, and just stood around he looked cool.
He was originally intended to be someone with a noble goal who was misguided in his attempts to achieve it. I admit, they did not use him that much in previous volumes. The thing is, they shifted the misguided trait to Illia and just turned him into an angry ex. Anyway, I’m not here to dig too deep into this, so let’s just keep our own opinions and enjoy the editing of this video.
If only RoosterTeeth went and did that Avatar the last air bender Katara blood bending vibe... something along the lines like Adam saying "You hated me because i'm a murderer, you are one now." before he died but instead we got "oh"
@@JDVN7 That's because Hama was taken alive, and Adam was stabbed in the lung. If he had started giving a dying speech, it would have been tiresome and cliche.
@@magiefish6368 They didn't even manage to shift the misguided trait to Ilia fully since all the elements of her 'redemption' is surrounding her wanting to tap that bella booty. "I'm fine with slaughtering a bunch of people, as long as they're not the ones I care about"
Every single one of these you make are amazing. They tie in so well with the series most of the time. As you’ve heard time and time again and your going to keep hearing this at the rate your going. Keep up the good work. This is amazing.
They had to give into the bmblb idiots somehow, god knows poor Ayrnn was getting tired of their harassment. I still don't see how those two are gay and in a relationship even after the latest episode.
This song fits Adam so well. I still say Adam should've gotten a much different story arc... Instead of a villain, have him start as a dark antihero... Still one of the bad guys, just not necessarily truly a villain. Then, you morph him into a lighter antihero over the course of the story, starting to actually fight for the right thing again after realizing just how far he strayed from his original ideals, but still not exactly pure good guy... Still probably crossing some lines he really shouldn't. Imagine Adam, the shining poster child of the White Fang, turning on the brotherhood because he finally realized what they've become. Imagine an episode where he ends up saving some innocent lives, but totally wrecking his former White Fang comrades to do so, because I mean... Violence and bloodshed, that's practically all he knows at this point. You could then even theoretically have him slowly transform into a proper hero, eventually genuinely redeeming himself, using one or more of the other main characters as a catalyst for that change. There's a lot of options in that regard, but I'm honestly leaning towards Weiss or Yang as the most interesting possibilities storywise (if written correctly, at least). I mean, when it comes a character like Adam, the possibilities really were endless. Oh well, thats the could've would've should've of writing, I suppose.
When I saw the title I actually started singing that part from the Assassins Creed mashup, but wen't "nah it couldn't be" well it was lol Well done as always. I don't know Im happy he won't bother Blake again but also want more backstory of maybe Adam in the SDC mines and getting that brand.

THAT'S how he should go out. Fighting. And possibly even regain the respect of the White Fang or at least Blake.
It doesn't make any Sense you're telling me Yang's basic training with her dad and Blake's adventuring with Sun Automatically makes them catch up with Adam skill level really ? And the writers are telling me that's all it took to defeat Adam pathetic.. I like the amv btw
That's exactly what I said on a video. Yang's training with her dad shouldn't have allowed her to match Adam's fighting experience and level of skill. Blake is Adam's former partner so I can't really say anything about her cuz I don't know what he taught her, but Yang matching Adam was crap.
Except we never actually saw Yang FIGHT him. We saw her rush in recklessly after what could have been hours of fighting Grimm. I get what you're saying, but don't forget Yang most definitely had a weakened Aura and less stamina than she would have at full power.
Yang never fought Adam directly before V6. She rushed in without thinking, and didnt know how strong he was. Blake was scared and was more focused on getting away from him rather than fighting back. She only fought him because she felt obligated to since he was hurting people. In V6 they were both able to keep their heads and work together, motivating each other. It was 1v2 and Adam was angry and arrogant. He thought he could easily defeat them. He underestimated them and lost. Not to mention he relied on his weapon and semblance rather than tactics. Blake and Yang relied on actual battle strategy and teamwork, for example Yang lured him away from Blake when her aura broke, distracting him with his own anger. Yang also dodged most of his hits rather than use her semblance (a tip her dad gave her) If Adam had been calm and focused he probably would have kicked their butts, but Im not surprised he lost. It makes sense when you put it in perspective, and also has a nice piece of advice in there. Their time training and adventuring aren’t what made them able to defeat him, it was their character growth and his loss of control
@@TotalNoobAtEverythin He was in the state of a psychotic breakdown, more focused on hurting Blake and killing her than anything else. He had already been foiled time and time again and lost any and all social power he had, the one thing that kept him feeling high and mighty.
In my humble opinion, Adam got killed in the heat of the moment. Yang didn't care where he was dead or not, though the choice seems clear... Blake probably didn't want to kill him, as her tears were probably both emotional release and some mourning of who he used to be most likely. I think Adam just got killed by the same fog of war when people don't really think clearly. (I don't mind he's dead though) I wonder if later on Blake might regret killing him.. Edit: Also just remembered Gambleshroud's gun part(of sorts) was what Adam might of been going for. A fair point.
I totally agree! I think the girls did it out of defense and survival because he left them no choice. There was lots of adrenaline going through all of them and only at the end, at the calm of the storm, it comes crashing down. I do hope we would be able to hear mentions of Adam in the next volume.
I've gotta disagree with you. Those two are trained combat "specialist" and should have received training in how to defuse or non-lethally take out a dangerous opponent I.E. Torchwick and the LT with a chain sword. I understand that emotional stress is one hell of a drug, trust me I do, but since they broke his aura and got rid of his blade he became defenseless. And a good right hook from Yang would have knocked him out. Even if he was still attempting to fight both girls have the advantage.
I disagree with trained combatants theory... RWBY is still a group of teens, Qrow however might have kept his emotions in check due to age and experience. It's a great point, but fog of war blinds all sides
@@sniper0625 However, Adam was aiming for the rest of Gambol Shroud and Blake realized that. If Blake didn't make a move it most likely would've ended up with Adam stabbing Blake, pushing Blake off the cliff, Yang coming from behind stabbing Adam, and the only one left alive and standing being Yang. It was a life or death situation.
Y'know what's seriously sad? I could have accepted Adam's downfall to a darker more evil side if it made sense over being a pander for the Wasps-Bumblebee. How cool would that be if the Fang lost their ground and they were forced in to submission to be less radical and only Adam held on to his views and kept fighting alone.
Yeah plus Adam is the only faunus that is shown to have actual abuse by atlas you know, 'Faunus Opression' he was marked meanwhile, blake didn't get any sort of abuse so she shouldn't try to change Adam for what they've done and the comic supports it and Kerry said the comics are canon also the line "If you could see the light from here your concious would not be so clear fit's Adam because he was branded not Blake which made his goals to liberate the faunus made him better until he changed somewhere in between volume 4-6 but he was still a good character and this AMV did him justice
@@azuko2372 Exactly! Blake had to deal with snobby Weiss or "Oh no, mean Faunus words" Adam is an adult who has experienced actual abuse and racism in his time.

Totally stealing this comment, but...Adam's treatment by RT themselves has proven faunus discrimination more than anything they've tried to sell me in the show. His death was the final nail in the head that made me drop the show. RIP Adam, at least those sorry excuses for writers can't misuse you anymore.
I love JT Music and I love Adam, this turned out really well. I still say he's not dead. If he had died, he would have turned to dust, like Phyrra had. Never happened.
Adam's character short means nothing. He went from a character fighting for a good cause to an angry emo ex boyfriend. Adam is a perfect example of a villain with wasted potential. He could've been a villain being evil for goods sake. Imagine a villain in RWBY fighting for a good cause in the wrong way. Nope. He was an uninteresting yandere. Adam deserved so much more than that.
Are you saying Yandere's can't be good villains? Because I strongly disagree with that notion. Plus I don't think Adam is really a Yandere, he isn't doing any of this because he wants Blake all to himself, he's only doing it out of ego fueled spite.
The Adam short made me excited because it actually showed an implication some actual depth to Adam aside from just being 'evil cunt' whose there to make Blake look good without any tension. The look of shame when Ghira scolds him for the accidental murder, his complete dorky surprise when he's praised by everyone else, the way you see his fighting style visually change after his blood lust was encouraged instead of tempered (A small implication that Sienna kind of groomed him to be her attack dog), ect. Then Volume 6 just makes you wonder why he wasn't killed off in Volume 5.
Kanassa completely agree his charater would have been better if they didn't change it to a stupid turn they gave us and now that he is dead they have just wasted the best charater growth in my opinion

Fantastic song choice for Adam! Murderous jerk that he is, he will always see himself as the hero and the victim. Plus, there's an argument that some of the Assassin's are kind of bonkers or obsessed with revenge as well.
The only difference was the Brotherhood had a creed to keep their blades from shedding the blood of the innocent. Adam didnt care who he killed. But yes/ they do look similar.
@@xxvorlandxx52 correct me if I am wrong but only time we see him going after innocents is when he was forced into it by cinder and even than breech wasn't that much of big deal if was just supposed to be a distraction. As for Blake she was planting thorns in his side from very beginning.
I feel like everyone hates adam only because they see him as a revengful ex. And I can understand why people find that cringe, but I wish they wouldn't focus on that because he's a pretty good villain. (In all honesty, it actually makes me mad that the creators actually used him as a way to get yang and blake together, when he could've been used for so much more.)I bet if they had made him only focused on hating humans and getting revenge on them for what they put his people through, he wouldn't get as much hate.
The writers are to blame for Adam's path , he was in the right even if he went about it the wrong way, he was a gray character when we first met him , and then comes heroes and monsters where the writers fuck him up beyond repair. The only thing that can make me happy now in rwby is to see yang and blake drown in a pool of lament
Honestly as sad as it is for Adam, I actually like him, not for the story but for the style, and his story is not all bad, I really like this and believe it or not, I’ve been watching a lot of your music videos, for 6 months, I know it’s not as long as others but I usually don’t constantly watch the Same youtuber videos, 1000/10
We're 6 seasons in, he's been a villain since 2, and as a narrative "Pissy ex who can't take no for an answer and is now just out to murder/rape/both a main character" is boring. He wan't even the leader of the white fang any more, he lost everything he had, and there was never any indication that he would do anything else with his life as violence was literally his entire life story to the audience's knowledge.
Take note of how I said "wasted potential". I mean, if only they ''didnt'' go down that lame ex-boyfriend route they couldve proven how much of a threat he really was and kept up with his pre-Volume 4 self. Now hes just turned into a joke. Im just saying they couldve really tried to make him stay as menacing if they really wanted to.
Right?! Heck he could’ve set his sights on Whice and her family due to their company’s logo stamped on his face. Or Vol. 7 could’ve turned into an episode of Future Diary, Blake could’ve not run from her problems anymore and they would travel together in Atlas all the while Blake is trying to get Adam to stop instead of hightailing it like last time.
Even as a bumblebee fan, I wish more could've been done with Adam..maybe give him 1 or 2 more volumes to become a real threat that required all of team RWBY to take down... His 'ultimate' cut through (i assume) an Atlas Mech ...yet Yang's arm blocked it (Aura i guess?)
@@terraglade actually me and my friends were talking about that the other day. (The mech thing). We concluded that that cut from the Black trailer was more of a High end outlier. Adam and Yang had nearly identical semblances save for 1 key difference. Adam took all the damage to his weapon while Yang took it to her body. The result would always be a damage buff equal or greater to the damage absorbed.....but Yang would actually feel the pain from the attack while Adam would not. During the Black Trailer, Adam blocked the Atlas Mech's super laser. Now while we never get an actual example of how much damage an unblocked shot whould cause, its safe to assume that it could probably level a small or medium sized building giving how it supercharged Adam's semblance. The resulting counter strike being powerful enough to not only dissentigrate the mech but also damage trees in the background. That being said.....he never really showed anything like that again....because he never got that much charge again. Every fight he showed up in after that had him blocking small arms fire or melee strikes. There is also a difference in attack style between his fights with Yang. The first fight he had already built up a small charge from fighting in the city and channeled it into a precision strike meant to dismember rather than kill. Yang had charged in blind against an enemy she knew nothing about and Adam was level headed with the intent of making Blake suffer by killing her friends slowly. The last fight was the flip side of this. Adam was practically frothing at the mouth due to his clouded emotional torment while Yang went in calm...or at least cautious. She took a more tactical approach aftet learning of his power and avoided hitting his sword as much as possible meaning that he couldn't keep a charge while she was building her's up with every hit she took. Every time he fired his semblance it was in a wide, long range, wave/blast, and due to his frustration/anger he kept firing it off the second it got charge. Simply put, the attack just didn't have enough stored power behind it to slice through Yang's robo arm while she kept stacking her damage buff, only discharging it when she had a guaranteed hit. (The winter soldier moment with her catching the sword blade) ...... Like I said, that's what me and my friends figured. Feel free to play with the idea as you see fit.

Could be a good way to introduce younger incarnations of characters. Like say....in a later season of STRQ they would be closer to the main start of RWBY and have a young Adam (pre mask) and explore his character more that way.

In a recent RWBYRW it was confirmed that Adam died from this ...for anyone speculating since we didn't get a body
“If you could see the light from here, your conscience would not be so clear.”
That line somehow fits Adam so well...

An AMV made for a character who's creators turned their backs on his potential,

He's dead, bringing him back serves absolutely no purpose.
@@electricityandstuff4819 it serves the purpose of fan service just like they did by killing him

He did what he thought was right and felt betrayed by the one person he cared for
imagine Adam being an actual morally grey character and not some creepy ex. I would've loved to see an Adam who considered Blake not his problem anymore. where during the scene in Beacon, he never calls her "my love", treats her like he was her former mentor (like Blake ACTUALLY SAID DURING VOLUME 2) and does everything he can not to harm her because he refuses to harm a fellow faunus but is willing to kill humans, then after beating Yang, he leaves Blake alone and rejoins his brothers to destroy Beacon
god, he would've been so much better
Agreed
I agree completely...his future and potential was taken and twisted into something it Should never had been...
I’m baffled as to why people keep bringing up Blake’s line about him being “only” a mentor. Putting aside the fact that Blake might just have been being cagey about the past, why couldn’t someone be both of those roles? Just think about how many anime have someone crushing on a “senpai.”
The first time we meet Adam, literally before the show properly started, he’s trying to blow up a train full of innocent people.
@@jiado6893 Jacob Bielski or maybe you're just in denial with how blindly loyal you are to this show (ironic since we're talking about Adam)
did it not cross your mind that:
1) He did not care about the passengers in the train because they're humans and he could care less about them. he fights for the Faunus, not for the filthy assholes that discriminated his race
2) The fact that he began caring less and less for his own kind and he starts becoming a creepy ex to Blake basically has the writers retcon it all.
Adam is a good representation of when you let your inner devil's control you
Freaking true. Aaaand now I'm dead...
Because of that I mean
This song fits with Adam's character really well. Great job on the AMV!
Probably the best use I have seen of this song. As always, it is magnificent to see your amvs.

I may not like where Adam’s character went, but even I can admit, this was extremely well edited, and shows what he could have been.
This is my favourite RWBY amv full stop. I can’t stop watching it!
Anime cliche: Whenever someone dies nearby a cliff or water, they walk towards it before they die so they fall in
Kind of like what Shay did in ac rouge
Funny how I’m playing Assassin’s Creed Rogue right now and saw this lmao
Am I the only one who thinks that Adam got nerfed. I mean sure yang and Blake could have gotten stronger but repeatedly throughout the show we were reminded that Adam was one of the strongest villains shown at the time and both Blake and yang together could not have hoped to defeat him. Sure time since beacon has passed but Adam literally beat both of them and crippled yang without even trying. There is no way they got strong enough to beat him this fast.
How the hell did you combine assassin’s creed:Rouge and RWBY perfectly???
Damn son!
Haha ! Because Shay and Adam are very close in their story ! ^^
Like I said in the premiere. Absolute master class in editing
3:25 that's a perfect line for Adam talking down to Blake
Rip best boy. Nah but seriously this made me sad for a week . . . Rest in peace Adam you were my favorite character.
Man I felt that
You're an human. HOW CAN YOU RESPECT ME?
Ah, whatever. All Humans are trash.
Maybe
I actually think Adam's death was super unfair. If you think about it, he was treated like a bigger threat than *Cinder*. But he was killed that easily? If I got to write a final battle for him, I'd;
1. Have it so *only* Blake killed him. (Yes, he cut Yang's arm off, but that's all he did to her. Blake genuinely deserved the glory for herself.)
@@michaelramon2411 Wow, I’ve never seen someone breakdown that fight so fucking perfectly. Kudos, man.
This... this is my version of the figth.
I find a way to keep him alive and bring Ruby and Weiss to the figth.
Here’s the thing:
The after Blake fly away to the cliff and almost fall and when Yang had to figth Adam by her self, she tough she can handel Adam by her own, but her PTSD started to to crazy, she can vearlly stand against him or even move, untill Adam hits Yang (Not a Slap, a simple hit like shot his katana) and her scroll flys away to Blake, Blake grabs Yang’s scroll and call for help to Ruby.
Ruby answers her scroll:
Ruby: Yang!! What’s going on?!! Where’s Blake?!!!
Blake: Ruby!! It’s me Blake!!!
Ruby: Blake!!! What happend?!! You were suppose to shot down the tower!! What’s going on?!! And where’s Yang?!!!
Blake: ... It’s Adam!!! Adam Taurus is here!
Weiss: Wait! Adam?!!! Your old partner of the White Fang!!!
Blake: Yes!
Weiss: What is he doing here?!!
Blake: He is after me! Yang is figthing against him but she I don’t know how much she an handle him!!
Ruby: hang in there we’re coming!!
Blake: What?! No!! He is...
Ruby ends the call*
Blake: something you can’t handle
Ruby: I’m sorry guys but...
I’ll deal with you later
Adam approachs to Blake and he strikes Blake with his sword.
Adam: Now... you are all alone Blake! No one will come to rescue you!
Adam is about to make the final hit to Blake but Ruby and Weiss arrives just in time to call his attention.
Ruby: HEY!! STAY AWAY FROM HER!!!
Adam turns half of his head (not showing his scar) to see Ruby and Weiis
Adam: Oh, Ajajaja!!
Adam: just do it... kill me... I don’t have anything or anyone to lose anyway
Adam on the ground is ready to face his final destiny, and leaving a couple of tears fall of his eyes, Blake was about to do it, but she don’t, throws away her sword
Blake: No! I’m not ending this that way! This is not the solution!
She finally brakes the cicle and end this in a non violent way.
Finally Adam is under arrest, with no help, no one to help him, and with no goal, but before he is taken away to go to prison:
Weiss: Wait!
Adam just stay in silence without saying a word, Weiss starts to walk away from him but:
Adam: Why?...

AC Rogue is my favorite game in the series. Criminally underrated. Great video, BTW.
This is a great song, it fits him well.
You did great editing work.
If you ask me, Adam’s death was a mercy kill considering how they had treated his character.

Still a better end than Torchwick. Imagine if that fight had ended with some random grimm falling off the cliff and squishing Adam under its ass.
I'm still waiting for a death certificate
Why does this song fit Adam almost perfectly?
RIP Adam. Your wasted potential will be mourned.

@@jorienwachukwu466 And Yang was just tanking his hits and was even fast enough to dodge his hits
Somehow shes got a power boost
Yang also dodged most of his hits rather than use her semblance (a tip her dad gave her)
If Adam had been calm and focused he probably would have kicked their butts, but Im not surprised he lost.

A fitting tribute to one of my favorite villains, ranking among Darth Vader in my opinion. Rest In Peace, Adam.
I felt that there was more to this character to show than what RWBY did with him in the last season.
Personally I liked Adam although I'm glad he's gone but I'm kind of sad that they wasted his potential for the future if he's actually dead
Why does slot of it music's song go so well with this anime I might start watching it now
In my humble opinion, Adam got killed in the heat of the moment.
Yang didn't care where he was dead or not, though the choice seems clear...
Blake probably didn't want to kill him, as her tears were probably both emotional release and some mourning of who he used to be most likely.
I think Adam just got killed by the same fog of war when people don't really think clearly. (I don't mind he's dead though)
I wonder if later on Blake might regret killing him..
They told Adam to leave two times, but he didn't
I disagree with trained combatants theory... RWBY is still a group of teens, Qrow however might have kept his emotions in check due to age and experience.
It's a great point, but fog of war blinds all sides
@@sniper0625 However, Adam was aiming for the rest of Gambol Shroud and Blake realized that. If Blake didn't make a move it most likely would've ended up with Adam stabbing Blake, pushing Blake off the cliff, Yang coming from behind stabbing Adam, and the only one left alive and standing being Yang. It was a life or death situation.
The song's vibe is so perfect for the visuals
Plus the ending matches PERFECTLY in my opinion excellent song-choice and visuals
I mean this song just screams awesome plot line Adam could've gone down, like a rouge instead of an ex, would've been epic.

I agree those writers can go eat shit and die for ruining my boy who could've been one of the best characters and for giving in to damn fan service
@@WizardkingAlpha1 And for a ship that makes no logical sense
@@IggyBitz yep that too
@@WizardkingAlpha1 For fucking fan service
I second that, Adam's death and shit writing made me drop RWBY as the show. Some fan fics are actually damn good though, real talent there.
I love JT Music and I love Adam, this turned out really well.
I still say he's not dead. If he had died, he would have turned to dust, like Phyrra had. Never happened.
Kerry confirmed his death on RWBY Rewind...
@@DanDaMan23 Well Miles and Kerry are pretty ass writers.
I honestly think Adam should've gotten to blakes weapon before she did because we've seen him blitz people in the past with no issue
@Nicholas Barbee You right
JT should see this. It's awesome paired with his music.
My headcanon is that Adam survived his supposed death and will come back in a later Vol.
There is actually no way he survived...unless some outside force moved in to save him.
@@noox13 I actually have a theory that he'll be rescued by a family of humans, and their sympathy would change his outlook on everything
@@pyron5277
Hmm, maybe in his injured state so he can't mess it up by trying to kill them lol.
But yeah, I see what your saying.
Since rwbys back i decided to come back to one of my fav amvs for the show. Still hits 5 years later
@@anthonyrodriguez5108 really I had to kill some one like him in real life the guy attacked my girlfriend so I killed him I told him we could talk it out and he said she's mine I'm going to kill than I'm getting her to my self. What I said is like Adam but he is filled by bloodlust when it takes over you there no way to stop the person who goes into blood lust but killing em if they had let him live he would of retriever his sword and killed every one.
@@ainzooalgownoverlord8913 understandable but the thing about Adam is we have seen his character develop in poor ways he's the type of person who will never back down no matter what I hate and respect that about him but what the writers did to him was not a good choice of making a character Adam was the most interesting to me I'm a little upset that they decided to kill him there mainly because I knew he had nothing else to lose that's why I think your argument is a little invalid because for one he no longer has the support of the faunus due to Blake and he has already sworn Against All Humans but with no support from anyone he is nothing to do so I guess chasing Blake to get revenge was the only thing he could do and even if they just left him alive I agree with you yes you would have retrieved his sword and then just returned later to kill them I would expect that from him because he has nothing else to lose. But unfortunately he is now gone so his character Point can no longer be explored it's not that Adam was bad or good it's just that they killed a character who had yet to Even Shine to his full potential which makes me mad I don't like heroes or villians I like good character plots.
Fantastic song choice for Adam! Murderous jerk that he is, he will always see himself as the hero and the victim. Plus, there's an argument that some of the Assassin's are kind of bonkers or obsessed with revenge as well.
It's true !
Well he _is_ a victim..... Of Miles and Kerry god awful writing and double standards
anyone else notice the white fang's uniforms almost look like the assassins or is it just me?
This song really does fit Adam good job Adam is my favorite villian in the series so sad and mad to see him go
Rest, my prince. You were too good for this world.
Wow!!! It's really beautiful!!! It's spontaneous!!! I love it and Thank you so much for this video. Continue this awesome work!!!!! 💙💙💙
I loved Adam.... RIP to one of the strongest
Well this fits adam so well, it was like this was almost made for him
U finally did this song I'm happy 👍
I'm happy I can finally edit him ! I got all the footage I wanted :3
Bootyful amv!
I wished that Adam somewhere still lived
...C'est parfait! J'éprouve même de la sympathie pour Adam maintenant xD Toujours aussi cool!
Oooooooh I can’t wait!
This song fits Adam so well 😃
Ow adam one of the best characters, if only you weren't sacrificed to make a baseless ship happen
I’m so ready for this amv...I need to feel better after the upcoming episode. I got spoiled.
this song fits Adam so perfectly, it’s shocking (edit: what if Adams brand glows red when he activates his semblance?)
Miles and Kerry: Finally make Adam badass as seen in V6 and his character short.
Also Miles and Kerry: Fucking kill Adam
Unfortunatelly I've always seen this character short as a death flag :S
Ever since I learned about frostbite Adam has become one of my favorite characters.
Awesome video Apotheosis!
Such a perfect song for him!!
Just started assassin's creed rogue and the editing was amazing 👌
I see Adam as wasted potential tbh. They killed him off too early imo
You say 5 Seasons in is too soon to Kill off a what is now a minor villain?
Take note of how I said "wasted potential". I mean, if only they ''didnt'' go down that lame ex-boyfriend route they couldve proven how much of a threat he really was and kept up with his pre-Volume 4 self. Now hes just turned into a joke. Im just saying they couldve really tried to make him stay as menacing if they really wanted to.
@@theresivy If only they completely changed everything about him he could have been interesting?
Yay! I love it! It's fantastic! Keep up the amazing work!
R.I.P Adam Taurus (2013-2016)
Poor wasted Adam. He deserves better than just a number in cat harem
This song was a pretty good fit for Adam. He is my favorite villain in RWBY besides Salem, but I almost couldn’t stand how he was in Volume 6.
I love this so much! Sadly this is the only AMV ive ever seen that was made for adam
I love how this song fits Adams further descant into insanity
Ah yes, wasted potential, refined into it's purest form
You never disappoint
Those five dislikes are the Bumblebee fans that don't understand that Adam was more than the obstacle for their romance.
(The winter soldier moment with her catching the sword blade)
......
Like I said, that's what me and my friends figured. Feel free to play with the idea as you see fit.
@@briandurio6479 Kind of remind me of Meliodas's Full Counter from SDS... The power sent back relies on the power absorbed... Either way i wish we could've seen more of Adam's backstory yknow? Maybe the tipping point of slave to rebellion, maybe him getting his blade, etc (if anyone of importance sees this ...good comic/manga idea ;P) But overall, good fight
@@terraglade oh trust me. The more I think about it the more I do see wasted potential. I'm still in the camp that is content with how things went down but I do see where people are coming from.
I actually was thinking the other day how a prequel series would be kinda neet. Maybe focusing on team STRQ and their adventures when they were young. Could be a good way to introduce younger incarnations of characters. Like say....in a later season of STRQ they would be closer to the main start of RWBY and have a young Adam (pre mask) and explore his character more that way.
@@briandurio6479 Maybe a few years from now after RWBY's story is done we can get a backstory Series of various characters ...or hell, maybe even make a movie on team STRQ
