i mean teams have different goals for worlds. A wildcard region team will be very happy if they make play-in playoffs or even potentially groups as it reinforces their seeding for the future. EU and NA should be pretty happy if they get semi's, getting to finals seems a bit unrealistic target-wise with the LPL and LCK being so strong this year.
Superficial Serpent 100T is not good at all, but any team that underestimates them will lose or barely win. That’s how they’ve come far in the first place
even NA fans aren't happy with 100T going to worlds for NA. 100T hasnt looked strong in NA LCS and if you aren't strong there you can pretty much forget it at worlds if you don't improve. I feel the same for Vitality, they didn't really look strong in EU LCS so I wouldn't give them a high chance regardless of the group.

Not underestimation, it's just that 100T is worse than RNG, and FNC scrimmed a lot against 100T, so they know them. FW or Buffalo are unknown teams (I don't think they scrimmed a lot), and GEN or RNG are obviously better teams...

Btw dont forget that to group of death B will qualife G2 too, if they win play in. So it will be G2/VITALITY/GEN.G AND RNG. But fnatic has really good group and if they will do their best i am sure they will qualife to knock out stage.

there are 2 teams could make a surprise gmb from russia(same group with grex) and supermassive for Turkey (no vietnamese at wildcard xp) , sup can beat grex(or gambit) , these 2 will get group d automatically , which is good for fnatic also
