- Most of this trail is beginner friendly, as it's flat and non-technical. The EKG loop requires some intermediate skill, and definitely solid fitness! A fun trail, let me know what you think in the comments!
Bike: Specialized Camber Comp 29
Filmed on a GoPro Hero 4 Silver & Samsung Galaxy S6 with an EVO SS wearable gimbal and Lanparte handheld gimbal
Where in River Legacy does this start? I can't find anything there besides the road bike trail they normally have.

Nice video! 🤙🏾 I’m going in the AM and was trying to remember what to expect. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for showing another one I might try,. Waiting for my knee to heal right now.
Are fat tire ebikes allowed that's all I've got I live in Arlington
What are some good beginner trails
Love how smooth this trail is!!
If this was real time, you only rode about a 6th of the trail. You should go back and enjoy its full splender, w/ a water pack. Sexy bike btw
No, I cut the boring parts out. I rode the whole loop plus EKG. Something like 10 miles. Aside from EKG, I found it pretty boring, and not worth a 45 minute drive for me unless it's the only trail open!
I have 3 videos on river legacy, yall should watch
Anyone know the length of these trails? They look very fun.
I ride here all the time on my gravel bike. It gets really fun when you go really fast
I'm a beginner and this is pretty near me. I'm hoping to ride it soon
I ride here all the time! We should collab!
This was my one and only trip out there, but I'd like to go back some time!
Matt Hunt where do you usually ride? I am trying to ride all if the dallas stuff i just started not too long ago...
When did you start? I just started in March of this year myself, so about 5 months. I typically ride Northshore and Erwin Park. I've been to several others, as well. Check out my video I just uploaded from Bentonville, AR. Another couple videos coming from up there. It's about 5.5 hours from DFW, really fun trails!
Nice video man, you gained a sub from me! I just uploaded a video from River Legacy myself. Check it out.
Trevor Zimmerman thanks man! I appreciate it! What other trails do you ride?
Hey Matt, what type of bike rack are you using? I have a cheap one from amazon but it has scratched my car all over.
I don't recommend the one in this video. It scratched the top tube of my bike. Now I'm using the 1Up USA rack. Absolutely recommend that one!
Heard allot of great things about this trail. Smooth ride! Thank you for sharing
EKG is the best part!
If your still out here man I really need a riding buddy haha
I moved to Idaho. Join the DORBA group on Facebook and post up when you're gonna ride and if anyone wants to join. I'm sure you'll find some new riding buddies! I like riding alone, haha!
do you think that a marin sanquentin or a marin bobcat trail 5 is good enough for these dallas trails?
I know nothing about those bikes, sorry! But I imagine they would be!
I will comment on your question; yes. Those bikes are very capable.
@@wheezer36 would something like the kona firemountain be better since it has more options for upgrades? currently looking at the Marin bobcat trail, kona fire mountain and the haro doublepeak
Damn it looks fun, I feel dizzy...lol
Haha oh my, this is probably one of my worst videos, lol
What camera are you using?
See the description :)
Someone died on this trail somehow not that long ago, 63 year old man. I don't know the whole story but it was a tragic accident, they say he crashed into a tree and then got impaled on a branch or log on the ground. May he RIP and may God's peace be with his family.

Yeah I heard about that. Very sad. Had also heard that he was not impaled, that his chest hit a tree, he thought he was okay and continued riding, then passed out. So possibly some other blunt trauma/internal bleeding. Either way, very sad.
I actually fell on my chest really hard on Sister Grove, still not exactly sure how it happened but I think I hit my front brake too hard going into a turn. I didn't realize how injured I actually was until the next day, it's been a month and I'm just barely able to ride my bike again now. Chest injuries are bad.
