We take a look back to where it all began - from its origins in south east Asia, to its acceleration across Europe and the US. As the infection rate increased and countries went into lockdown, people began to find imaginative and inspiring ways of coping with our new reality

When my non-Chinese friends were partying, due to media downplaying the virus in January. All my Chinese friends who read Chinese media were stocking up and locking themselves up...
I remember my company was back in February only worried that we can't get some products from China for a big festival in June. China delivered in time but guess who is not going to need this things anymore.

I come back to this video occasionally during this pandemic to see what it was like in the early days. It is so beautifully edited and captures the tone of those first three months so beautifully
Ever since this coronavrius hit people have been very rude to others and to myself I normally don't express myself with what I feel at times but people have taken it to a whole other level. Please be kind to others and keep your distance we are all being affected by this virus , humble yourself and nice to others. Being rude and nasty does not help the situation it creates hostility and anger what we don't need. So please remember my words. Thank you and stay safe.
People tend to show their true color when in situation like this, sad isn't it?

I spent weeks at home feeling bored, ticked off that people are still gathering, food and essentials are being bought off due to mass panic... *Sigh*

They didn't cover how bad it's going down in Ecuador. People's bodies are being laid out on the streets there. It’s a great video and well edited overall.

It's a nightmare. I want this pandemic to end immediately. And those who hid this or misinformed about it should be tried as war criminals.

烏龜 it’s the National Health Service in the UK: it provides ‘free’ health care to an extent- i dont know too much about it, personally, but the Tory party (Conservative) are on a mission to privatise the NHS- make it very similar to the healthcare system in the US which I think is absurd. We already pay high enough taxes, National insurance, so why should we have to pay additional to access something everyone SHOULD have access to for free? Sorry I went on a rant, but I hope you understand why us Brits are fuming, at least those who aren’t in favour of the Tori’s.

Despite all the devastation there are some silver linings in this crisis that I hope we don’t take for granted.
1. For the most part, this virus is showing the best in humanity. The compassion and unity people are showing is inspiring.
2. The planet has been given a short hiatus from our destructive habits, and look at the amazing recovery it’s made in such a short time. I hope we remember this before rushing to “get back to normal”

! India human rights violations cruelty in Kashmir just before coronavirus started ! Maybe it is a part of punishment for whole humanity ! Those people were begging for their rights and freedom but they were qurantined in their homes and Indian police brutalized and jailed anyone who tried to raise his voice ! They were forced to isolate in homes and suffer ! The WHOLE WORLD was aware ! UNITED NATIONS was asked for help so many times coz they promised to give kashmiri people their rights but NO ONE LISTENED ! US , UK , all big nations turned blind eye coz they didn’t want to hurt their friendship with India ! And the poor powerless victims in Kashmir kept suffering EVEN NOW !!
and soon after coronavirus began ! And whole world became exactly like Kashmir ! Isolated , dying and no one to care , shortage of food , grief stricken and in fear of their lives and suffering in isolation due to the cruel force that they are not able to fight !
Maybe just a coincidence but maybe it’s also a wake up call to CARE FOR HUMANITY ABOVE FINANCIAL AND POWER GREED AND INJUSTICE WHEN IT IS INFRONT OF OUR EYES

I think best Clap would be that GOVT should make sure that all the Heath care staffs/ key workers who lost their lives to save others lives must not be forgotten and their families must be well looked after ,,,,! and ensure all frontline staff are well protected

0:46 -- I do not understand why the US was not doing this kind of thermal screening when hordes of people were returning from abroad in early March. We saw lots of footage of Chinese transportation hubs using thermal imaging to locate sick people but I don't recall seeing this technology used in US airports or rail stations at all. I do remember seeing returning US citizens being interviewed for the evening news telling journalists that there was zero screening. While it would not have prevented the spread into the US -- that we now know came as much or more from Europe as from Asia -- it might have helped a lot if we had been on the ball and used the tech available to us. We could have isolated sick people and alerted and tracked those on the same flights, family, friends, etc... Instead, nothing. We obviously have completely ignorant and incompetent leaders. We must do better in November.

Interesting how the world looks with only essential workers. I feel like my work in the tinned sausage factory isn't as important as doctors and nurses :(
Here in Ireland we are constantly saluting not only the health care , but cleaners , retail workers and factory work, and post people, transport people and I myself am minding kids of nurses as creches closed we are all doing our part. Even those staying at home are saving lives. And be proud of yourself, we don't always need to seek recognition for our kindness n goodness. All the best to u and u are important. But we have to remember the difference between us and the nurses n doctors is we may expose ourselves , we may be in contact with someone who has the virus while working but the nurses n doctors are for sure working with those who have the virus. Lets not forget that 🥰✌

For example, when people go shopping in a store without wearing a mask but keep talking, he may have droplets spreading and falling on to the goods on racks. If this man is asymptomatic patient, he may have spread coronaviruses there. The virus can survive more than 24~48 hours so it may transmit itself to another people when someone touch the surface. You may say that people go back home may first wash their hands. Oh, I am telling you another gap. When people came home, his may touch elevator buttons, touch their door handles and door keys before washing hands. and the goods he bought is still have virus on the surface that he or his family will touch again within a couple of day.
Wearing a mask can help blocking droplets while talking, and to minimize the virus contamination.

Especially heart warming is the appreciation and thanks given by the population in various countries, including China, which was not shown here, to the health workers who work 24/7 risking their own lives. Everywhere there should be public health insurance scheme and services for all and much more of it. USA is now leading in the death rate because so many people don't have health insurance or money to go to the hospital. Shame!
