Just wanted to say that your videos have gotten me to finally try and actually finish a rando.
The general tips video gave me enough knowledge to deal with the tougher parts of it, and after 3 days of on and off play i beat my first rando! (Glitchless but with tricks)

Yes, I love the Deku glitches. This one even includes the glitch that got me into playing this game again, and doing randomizers.
At some point for beginner tricks, you may want to explain ground jumps (you called it “forward jumps”
Although the Slingshot-less B1 skip (my favorite) has many setups. I personally don’t like the shield setup, and prefer (and honestly only learned) the no equipment. It’s similar, but includes a C-Up in there.
    setup.
An ESS one also existed, but that doesn’t belong for beginners.

Good to hear from you again. I used to use the C-up version of basement skip but my visual cues don't line up the same in the ship version. I had to learn this version just to make this video. Haha.

@@KTSpeedruns Oh yeah, that really confused me because I played it on N64 my first, but when I came back to OOT it was on Ship.
The part you’re meant to line up with is just the center of the screen, so it’s not that bad. But if you want, there is a “Glitch Line Up Assist” thing on Ship, that just shows where the left of the sword button originally was located (the center of the screen).

I used the button icons to line up on N64. I want to always do something universal with these tutorials.

@@KTSpeedruns That is true. I was just saying that most guides use the sword button, when in reality, you could just line up the center of the screen.
But I understand not having it be that easy.
