    I just love how you make things so plain and simple ❤ Also, today I am proud of myself. I speak French to my coworker from Cameroon at work whose first language is French and usually I make mistakes and stutter but I’m able to get my point across….well, today I took a deep breath and got out of my head and I spoke fluent French to her with no errors to the point where she was shocked at how well I spoke to her in French compared to a few weeks ago. I’m no where near perfect and I still have so much to learn but I’m done being scared to speak. It felt so good to see the look on her face as she was amazed at how fluently I was speaking. And it’s all thanks to you! ❤

      @@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane You are my teacher, my mentor, my guide and honestly, my French would not be at the level it is today if it weren’t for you. Yes, I am putting in the work but I’m capable of speaking French because you have given me the tools I need and continue to do so. So, thank you! 🤩

    Bonjour Dylane! You are a treasure trove for French learners, as you provide so much valuable content in such lucid manner. In my journey, I was overwhelmed in the beginning but the way you have taught, I am becoming confident that I can learn this beautiful language too. Thanks a heap for your lessons❤.
    Also, I have a little request. As I'm progressing through the course, I'm bit perplexed that how should I approach. I have completed the pronunciation course curated by you on your channel and continously learning new vocabulary. Moreover, I have bought your book on French Short stories, I must say it's meticulously crafted and is helping me a lot.
    But what is bothering me is, what should the effective Roadmap for a learner?
    Should one start with grammar, pronunciation or conjugation? And then what should come next.
    I appreciate that you answer all the queries and I'm looking forward to you for my answer cz I reckon that it is problem faced by majority of learners.
    Plz , help me out .

    When you got to “tant pis”, I understood the example of it meaning “too bad”. But I’d like an example of using it to mean “never mind”. Merci

    Question; can this two expressions be use sarcastically or not?

  • @od5699
    @od5699 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Learning a new language? Obviously, the best way is to immerse yourself with people who speak the language you are learning but many have successfully learnt from tutorials like yours. However, the one arena that seems lacking in this learning is sport commentary, whether it's football, rugby, athletics, gymnastics, swimming, fishing, boxing......
    There are many times we listen to sport commentary in other languages and have little idea what is being said. It would be great, as far as I am concerned, to have french tutorials that follow the conversation being broadcasted by the sport commentators and decipher their meanings.

      You can watch French speaking sport channels :)

    • @od5699
      @od5699 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Yes you can but you need to pause constantly to listen and assosiate the subtitles. However, if a lesson was created to analyse the comments of individual sport commentary and the the various slang used, it would be easier than the process I described.

    I'm guessing tant mieux is less likely to be said sarcastically than in English, especially "good for you". If I hear it in English, it's pretty much by default taken sarcastically.

      I wondered about this too, especially as the example in the clip did sound like the girl was being somewhat sarcastic (although maybe I read it wrong)

    When I look at this video with my phone the lingopie window is so small that it is impossible to read the texts. The lingopie sound quality needs to improve. When they speak their face often is not towards the camera so I can not read their lips. Finally their speech speed is too fast for me
