@@judewakefield7213 Depends if they go with male only succession, or male preferred succession, it's never made clear to my knowledge which way they do it, and even during the war of the Roses (the peroid of history that this is loosely based on) opinion was divided on the matter.
If they were both female or male, Jon has the better claim. As Jon is a male and Rheagars son he definitely has the better claim. If Dany were male and Jon were female, opinion would be divided on the matter to whom the crown belonged to.
So in 3/4 scenarios Jon clearly has the better claim, and the other 1/4 it would be a split decision.
Hence my original statement.

If it were male only then Boy Dany would be heir, if it were male preferred then girl Jon would be heir.
It is never made clear in Got, or even indeed during the war of the roses what is law.
Hense why it''s entirely about him being Rheagars child, and little to do with him being male.
@@mymic208 It is made clear in Fire and Blood, there must be no male heir in order for a female to inherit the throne. Thus the first son, his sons, his next oldest brother, his brother's sons in that order would inherit. Only if none of these could inherit (infirm, nights watch, maester etc) could the oldest daughter of the ruler inherit.
Ultimately it's whoever gets the backing of the lords that gets the throne. Birthright laws don't matter much at that point. Birthrights are only tools used for getting the support of the noble houses and the people. But if you have the noble houses support then you don't really need Birthright. Being Rhegar's son only gives him so much clout because 1-2 generations have past from the last Targaryan rein and it didn't end with the people liking Targaryans. So it's actually the combination of being Rhegar's son AND being male that makes him a good candidate because as Tyrion said in the last episode, the lords would prefer being led by a male.

I think the quality was just bad cause everyone was watching it at the same time. Like I use HBONOW and my friends and I started the episode about 30-40 minutes after it started airing and I had absolutely 0 problems seeing anything🤷🏼♀️
Rachel from "Blade Runner" is tied with Audrey Hepburn as the my hottest girls in movies but Harrison Ford killed the love scenes. Also Ridley Scott is an idiot, the unicorn represents Deckard thinking about Rachel because she is the only replicant in the world like that.

John Snow is first in line to the throne because he is the firstborn child (surviving) of the firstborn child of the last King/Queen. It's called absolute primogeniture.
Though one could argue that the Targaryens practiced agnatic succession, which would mean females and their descendants only inherit if there are no males through the male line. In the case of the Targaryens (who seem to be the only family to have this type of succession), it is unclear if female-line males take precedence over male-line females. (If female-line males take precedence, the Baratheons had a better claim than Danny). But most importantly John would be first in line regardless of his gender here too.
The only succession systems where Danny would have a better claim than John would be ultimogeniture (the youngest sibling inherits) or agnatic seniority (siblings of the King before his children -> which is what Saudi-Arabia does "male only")
and both of these don't seem to be practiced at all in Planetos.
It's not unclear, it's spelled out in Fire and Blood that females can only inherit if there are no male successors. (Not including Dorne).

8:30 is my dating life. Earlier this year guy wanted to insist on meeting at my place and going right into some heavy kink stuff. Another guy suddenly after a month of knowing me (but only responding maybe once a week in short messages via text and going out for coffee once and dinner once mind you) just started saying I was his girlfriend and wanted me to take time off to go on a road trip. But I don't know you, you barely maintain a conversation and you clearly have hit desperate mode which doesn't pump me up any. And honestly a guy had caught me in a mood last year, we were looking at a direct hookup, but he bailed. So even the crappy shallow DTF stuff doesn't work. It just slaps sense back into me that this whole thing is shit.

Because she gets a lot of flack for her terrible ideas about GOT so she stopped. Her opinions of how the show has deteriorated are fine because it certainly has.But her ideas as to WHY the show has deteriorated and what would make it better are generally laughably bad. She even said once that Sansa's character would make more sense if in the middle of Kings Landing she found a knife and slit someone's throat. That is the opposite of Sansa's character and would make zero sense whatsoever for her. Her skills are manipulation and methodical thinking- not warrior princess. Ideas like that get people on her ass for their stupidity.

Episode 3 definitely destroyed the series. It's unwatchable now. And it has no rewatchability value whatsoever since the millenarian antagonists were never explained, nor expanded upon, nor rightfully defeated.
It was an abysmal deus ex machina, wich killed an already in decline series ever since George left those incompetent writers handling it.
It breaks my heart to see such a downfall of a series that should've been excellence.
