The way I see the hack done is after you have blended the tip with the file, you go around the nail with the acetone as a sealer, not in the way you used it. The idea is that it will seal it and make it harder for them to lift and that would be your last step before going in to polish. I would love if you could redo the method in the way it is actually done and do a wear test as well. The polishes are beautiful!
That's exactly how I do it😊 I have used primer as well on the regular Halloween press ons I used for the first time this year to keep them from looking so press onie😅
That is the way she did it. Just because she did it before she filed, so what. It's basically the same thing. It's not such a big deal she needs to redo it or anything
I really appreciate that you are not flat-out dismissing this "hack", and are making room for people who choose to us this technique. Very pleasant and positive critique!
i've been using the sculpting thick gel for 3d nail art, for months now, and my only "but" is that you have to put a top coat on top of it because it's almost imposible to take out the dirt in the crevices, i've tried brushes, using tools, and it's just stuck (yes, i wash my hands very often but you still get dirt stuck, or food when you're cooking) and i think that to avoid that issue applying a thin layer of top coat is perfect, everything else i love it, it's so versatile and it comes in variety of colors, i haven't tried to put pigments on it but maybe i'll try haha
I love ❤your videos !!! Can e discuss the apex and where to place it on different lengths of nails ? I’m still unsure as to where to place it and how thick it should be
I have to write another comment (because why watch 'till the end and THEN comment...?!😅). You sound like a kid from the 80s or 90s😂 Everything transparent was such a thing back then. I have a vivid memory... Just to mention that, beside being fantastic at your job, you are such a lovely person. It's a pleasure watching you do what you love. I would wish that to everyone. Life is so much better and easier when you can live/support yourself by doing the thing you love. That's what I would call a blessing. Thank you for all your amazing work, help and being an overall a wonderful human being. Greetings from Croatia 💙
I’ve been following you for years and I noticed that you communication skills are excellent. I’m a teacher that watches a lot of tutorials. It’s a huge turn off when people do not use good grammar. No matter how good they may be at doing hair and nails, they just sound unintelligible and it’s not enjoyable to listen to them. I remember when you used to search for words while speaking and am proud that you’ve come so far.😊
Wow, thank you! I’m so happy to hear that because I know that I make grammar mistakes every now and then , but still study everyday and try my best to improve my skills 😊
@@Nailcou Thanks for responding! We don’t have Russian manicures as services at the shop, but they still have my nails looking perfect and they haven’t lifted over the past two months!! Keep up the studying. This is my retirement year of teaching and my Spanish 2 students in Milwaukee are learning the value of learning several world languages. Take Care
The gummy bear killed me! So cute!! I know that you're not a fan of the green shade but I can imagine it as the background of a floral design, welp maybe a green gummy bear for some pastel nails. Now knowing that you can sculpt gummy bears, I would be making my own army of bears hahahaha. Lovely set and product demonstration.
It might but it'll take a lot of acetone and it may melt a hole on the nail. I've done it before. Though this seems to be meant to smooth out and seal the edge after filling to blend.
So many pretty colors! Question: can I apply dehydrator and prime close to my cuticles? Or do I have to be worry of allergic reactions like the normal gel?
I keep reading that it’s important to use a lamp that is the same make as the the gel polish. I’d love to know your opinion on this and also would love it if you would do a video about nail alergies and why they happen
Hi! Licensed nail tech here and I just came across your comment 😊 as long as the lamp is a good wattage and is the proper type of light for the gel your using it shouldn't be an issue. If you have an led gel you need an led lamp. Uv gel you need a uv lamp. I typically use combo lamps so I don't have to worry about it. I believe we're seeing alot more allergies lately due to a spike in people doing their own nails and accidently undercuring gel. Sometimes it seems cured on top, but it's not all the way through. This constant exposure to uncured gel can cause problems as our nails are porous and will absorb the wet gel to an extent.
@@loganmaarberg1162 Yes i think you are right, sometimes i think it’s just a marketing thing, i mean seriously, are people really going to buy a different brand lamp everytime you use different gels? Half of the lamps are probably made in them same factory with just a different brand sticker on them.
@@Nailcou ok. I ordered some apres 00’s so fingers crossed 🤞 they’re wide enough. 🙏 I saw you cut two a bit over half and stuck them together. Not sure I’d be able to do that on myself with only one hand free if that makes sense. Beautiful jelly colors 💅👀❤️. Their cat eyes were very pretty too from one of you recent uploads sponsored by them.
I don't know whom or where to ask anymore...I have quite wide thumbnails. They are not those you've covered in one of your videos (I think they are called "clubbed thumbs" or maybe I've just made that name up 😂). I'd appreciate any advice, just have in mind that I'm from Croatia...and it usually turns out that we're the b*tthole of the world, when you realise how much is the shipping... 😅 Thank you in advance. P.S. Let me just add that the width of my thumbs is 16 or 17mm. In inches it's 0,66.
This doesn’t work for me. I have tried so many times, and my nails still manage to pop off. And no the nails are not too small. I make sure that they cover sidewalk to sidewall and sometimes it’s a little too big where I just file off the excess.
I will not be using acetone to blend the tip with my nail or any hack with acetone. As you know acetone breaks down the product and it could causing lifting, even a very tiny bit and we all know what happens after you get any lifting! Why would you risk that? No thanks.

This gummy bear was so much fun ! Thank you for this new video Anastasia !
That pink is so bright I need to wear my sunglasses! 😎😎😎
Love the gelly polishes and the gummy bear 🐻 super cute
Lol, I have that same lamp, it's great and makes me smile whenever I see it.
That little Gummy Bear turned out perfect, so adorable!

I've been using the builder gel or adhesive after filing the bottom down to make sure it is sealed
That pink! It’s my dream jelly 😍

Beautiful!!💜💖💜
Btw there are moulds available to make the bears! Aliexpress is where I bought a set!
Yes, me too I have...But with such talent she doesn't need one . Great artist
Awesome! Thank you!
Oh, I love the gel skittle mani with the gummy bear! That is so bright and fun! 😊❤️
I use acetone to etch the inside of the nail that's not pre etched before applying. It has worked great so far. Just use a brush you don't care for.
Love this video!! Cute bear!!!

I looooove those colors😍😍😍

I like the jelly magenta and the pink one
Such a beautiful set and I definitely want to try the gummy 🐻. So cute! 🥰
So nice💅❤️
Can you PLEASE DO A VIDEO on how much hard gel you put in a dual form 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great video. Beautiful products. ❤
Thanks so much!
Love these! So cute! I’m sure it’s a lot harder than it looks making that gummy bear! Great job as always! Beautiful work❤❤
They're so bright and just perfect for a hot summer day Anastasia (your gummy bear is 😍)... thank you for sharing xo 💜💅💜
Thank you so much!
why is my skin under my nails drying out and breaking open . does acrylic solution causing this?

Aww your gummy bear is so cute! 🐻 I never really thought about how easy one of these would be to make! 🩷💛💙💚🧡
Dang it. I was hoping that it would work, i hate blending the base of the tips. Oh well, we have to do what we have to do ❤

I really want to try soft gel tips... but I get heat spikes even with gel polish 😢. Any advice?

Beautiful I'm really gonna try it I'm from South Africa can you please let me know where i can get the Jello Jello peel off base coat and crazy top
Amei as cores dos esmaltes .Lindos e cheio de vida!🎉
So did you use a smaller size on your thumb or your normal size? In my experience when there’s extras there are extra smaller ones not larger.
I used the biggest one they have - 0 , other sizes were too small for me 😅

maybe with no lines, a product to solve the lines visible after filing old product
Is reinforcement gel the same as rubber base?
No, it's not as thick but can be used for similar purpose, but you need to apply base coat first underneath
Can you use the non sticky hard gel to adhere the nail to finger?
Not sure, I usually use special gels only
Yes, you can 😊 I do it all the time!!
You can though I find that even with prep it doesn't stick to my nails very well.
Are these products HEMA FREE?

I can't help but notice the necklace looks a lot like a minimalist/discreet collar....
Totally off subject; is that an Eternity C???
What’s that ?

First
It’s not a hack. It’s a bandaid for improper application. Their nails lift because they didn’t push the cuticles🤷🏽♀️
