I have never seen a cape buffalo this big. He is built like a tank and looks like a hybrid between a cape buffalo and an Indian wild gaur. He can take down a train if he wanted to. Great footage.
Those are called the bachelor clan they mate and leave and they fight to see who is the strongest And there are a small group probably 5 or 6 large buffaloes

Beautiful noble beast who's probably been the pathfinder of his herd, leading it for years. Probably fought off many a lion pride and saved more then a few of his mates. I have more respect for the Cape then the idiotic remarks about "O it would look good on my wall or in my freezer as hamburger". Well if your so tough to do that then walk up to him with your bare hands and see how well that goes. I'll never understand how people can't admire a majestic creature in prime condition without resorting to making ignorant remarks.

Lions usually live for 15 years. Cape buffalos can live for 40. He’s probably known, fought, and outlived many lion prides.
