    Very nice video.I would be very pissed of if the PH shoots my Buffalo especially when it runs away.If it is charging and our lives are in danger it's a different situation.But if you shoot my Buffalo while it's running away or not charging,you can some pay for it aswell .

    When I see video clips like this - they are all basically the same - I am glad I did my big game hunting myself, without a PH to back me up, in the Zambezi Valley. That was several decades ago when one had the freedom and privilege to hunt alone. That Africa has largely, or even entirely, gone.

      Agreed. Number 5: the client hit the off foreleg, and then the PH put in that 3rd shot into the neck vertebrae which dropped the buff in full flight. Btw I don't consider Mark S safe enough PH to guide novice clients - his methods being too "gung-ho". He's the PH who has faced more charges than any other - either he's naturally unlucky, or, (more likely) doing something wrong!! In comparison, my PH (with 40yrs of DG experience) has only ever had 3 risky situations in total.

    • @navcop031
      @navcop031 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@tim7052 He’s neither one. If you watch him enough he purposely puts himself into the situations to force a charge. And then shoots all his clients buffs for them. Or hippo. Or whatever. It’s just senseless. And dangerous. And stupid. And dangerous.

      @@AfricanSafariFilms I've seen clips of Mark S goading DG to charge - very unprofessional IMHO - especially when with novice hunter clients! Frankly, he's too risky a PH, as buff can absorb a lot of lead (the late PH Ian Gibson being gored after a buff had taken 22 heavy calibre rounds!!). For this reason I consider Mark S "a gung-ho hero" and an idiot.

It would make their video footage more entertaining than just a record of an out of shape guy huffing and panting along!! One guy found the hunt very tough going - lucky for him the buff obliged in permitting themselves to get shot!!

    I used to be a hunter. I appreciate hunting videos in which the hunter waits, lures or looks for his prey, walking stealthily and shooting at close range. Approaching is the "chance" given to the animal to sense the human and run away. This would be a hunt where the best would win. As we have seen, with the guidance of professionals, shooting with a scope and at a great distance, just proves that the hunter did not deserve this hunt. This modality is anything but sports.

I said yes. I happened to get a clean double lung shot, then my gun jammed, at my fault i will admit, so my PH took a gut shot on him to slow him down. Ani al went down. Then PH told me to take a spinal shot to be safe . It was a aggressive bull the land owners were happy i shot and gave me a discount .

      Thanks for the comment, we use Panasonic 4K cameras and have custom made shoulder braces for steady shots. If you are interested in a fantastic well priced Buff hunt I can hook you up and we can film your hunt as well. Let me know if we can assist you in any way, buff hunting is the ultimate if you go with the right people
