    Have a 2013 FZ1 bought new, still in its original royal blue. 8,900 original miles, goes like hell - easily the finest bike I've ever owned. Last August took it out on the interstate, little traffic, and did an easy 150 mph for about 30 sec (don't need to get arrested!). Smooth as silk, 9,500 rpm and coolant temp rock-steady at 189F on a 95F day. Wonderful machine - truly a 'Musical Instrument!

    Mine is a 2006 2nd gen with 55,000 miles, runs flawlessly. Love this machine, plenty of people see 100k miles on these bikes.

Down to north Carolina tail of the dragon and much more.young man what you have stumbled into old man joke that bike is a true jack of all trades. I've tacked it tour it and just road around locally. And I've just maintained it. That bike will do what ever you need it to. And put a smile on your face dvey time.b3st best over all bike I've ever owned. It never broke down in any way ever!!. I was going to get a different bike at one point now I want to see how far it will go lol. Good luck with your bike. Be safe.

      Currently have a SV650 and really want a FZ1. I live in NJ and commute to NYC all the time so I need a bike that's easy to ride around the street but I also want long range comfort on the interstate for weekend excursions, feels like oxymoronic traits but somehow FZ1 feels like a bike that's able to comfortably handle both scenarios?

      @DavidClay1206 listen it's not a real tourer. But good strap on bags. Your suspension is the key.i know guys in New York city who ride like you. Look up WCW Washington nj 07882. For 75 bucks he will, weigh you and just your suspension on that bike when you get . That's key that bike will go and do what ever you want.and be really good at it. Best alrounder I've ever owned. Now you can get a good one cheap.

    2006 FZ1 bought new 18 years ago. 94,000 miles. Yes, I replaced the stater and rotor. I’m pretty attached to the bike, it’s been great. Well maintained, Not abused. I’m 70. I know of a woman that has 200,000 miles on her 2005 model. There was a story of it in the newspaper.

    Buy FZ1 REGULATOR STATOR ROTOR GASKET KIT and change it ASAP.
    The factory installed will break off and jam in the engine. It is a common problem with second gen.
    I bought the kit from a Canadian company on Amazon for around $150 as good as OEM which was around $500

    I have an 07 I left sitting for a bit and when I turn the key on the lights don’t come on. I can’t remember if they came on after I started the engine or just when I turned the key. Can you help me out and let me know which one it is? Thanks.

      @juanp1504 The front turn signal running lights come on with the ignition, however, the headlight doesn’t come on until after the engine starts running.

    How would you compare this bike to your SV? (That you might’ve sold)

    • @predictionpain2632
      @predictionpain2632  หลายเดือนก่อน

      For me the FZ is better in every way. The SV had a charm to it, simplicity, reliability and decent styling. The FZ is more comfortable, way faster, stops and handles better. I have more confidence when riding the FZ for sure. I had both for a couple years and always opted to take to FZ out.
