Thank you for this quick and simple pattern. It's beautiful! I used about 220 yards of a super bulky thread by Yarn Bee with an 8mm hook (US) and it hangs to mid thigh (for someone 5'10" in height) - everyone is raving over it. I plan on making more of this one.
I purchased the materials needed for this project, I can't wait to begin! This will be my first project using a bulky weight yarn. I just love the name & the finished product!
Jennifer, Thank you so much for this lovely pattern. I used Wool Ease Thick and Quick - Grey Marble. Repeat rows 2, 3, 4 and 5 until you get the length you want. Row 1 - 2:54 Row 2 - 5:39 Row 3 - 8:31 Row 4 - 11:18 Row 5 - 14:00
Hi Jennifer - I'm actually on my 2nd Sugar Cookie Scarf; I described my first one (made for myself) to my mom and she wants one, too! She Lives on the East and I live on the West Coast. It's a beautiful pattern and whenever I put it on when I'm on my recliner - I fall asleep very quickly! Thank you! Good job instructing. Best, Nancy
Thank you for the Sugar Cookie scarf pattern, It looks so beautiful like you bought it at a popular retail store like Bloomingdale's. May God bless you.
Love this, have made several with starlight red heart hygge worsted weight yarn and 5 mm hook, including a few table runners with this stitch. ❤️ very pretty with the glitter in the starlight yarn.
I'm making my 1st scarf using Red Heart Super Saver in color Latte Stripe. The transition of the colors are breath taking. You are a great instructor & explain everything so very well. This pattern would make a lovely shawl but on a bigger scale. It is definitely on my to do list. Happy hooking.
I am going to use this for a scarf for my Mother. She picked out a bulky yarn today that is really pretty. She wanted a warm scarf but not a tight stitch so I think this will be peferct. It looks like it will be good and flexible too.
Hello I'm a beginner in crocheting I'm so excited to learn new projects to try on my family. But this one will be for me. Thanks I believe it will be beautiful in any color.
I Love all your scarves 🧣 I want to make them all 😂 my favourite things to make are chunky throws and scarves 💖 thank you for all your wonderful tutorials 💞 xx
For those of us novices that need to go back for the "extras" on the ends of rows 2-5, until we get the hang... It'd be GREAT if those were timestamped for easy remviewing! ✌🧡
beautiful scarf ! i don't crochet very much, but i think i can do this pattern. can it be made on a thinner yarn with the appropriate hook? i have a variegated noro yarn that might look good in this pattern. i think it would have to be wider though.
Greate your explain is very simple I learnt crochet just now and I love it so much . I Wonder if you can help me about how can I be a professional in it I want to make a jacket or sweater. I will waite your respond and thank you
anyone tried this as a striped scarf? like variating between two colors for this pattern? if anyone has, would you suggest trying it? I kinda wanna see how this would look two toned, but wondered if anyone tried it.
I'm wanting to crochet some gifts for Christmas, can you recommend somewhere to buy high quality yarn? The only craft stores we have around here have very coarse yarn and I'm looking for something that is softer and smoother.
I bought a lot of lion brand yarns on amazon. com for super cheap compared to stores. for black Friday I bought 16 skeins of hometown USA lion brand for $1.88 each and $5 of for spending over $30. if you're not near any good stores I highly suggest amazon, if you are brand familiar. bernatt brand yarns run cheap too.
I found some on this website hope its what your looking for www.jimmybeanswool.com/knitting/yarn/LanternMoon/RosewoodCrochetHooks.asp?specPCVID=14822&advSourceID=9&gclid=CjwKCAjw2NvLBRAjEiwAF98GMXaYiVKOl4-2oiP4vF-nWSNplVzu75x6ytPkgk7oZM5lrkt5ZrwgjhoCCnEQAvD_BwE
hey jennifer! where do you get those beautiful white flower buttons that you often show on your scarf/cowl tutorials? i luv them and would like to purchase some for a couple of scarves i've completed from your videos!
Hi Jenniffer I have a problem keeping my tension loose so i want to make a foundation of sc and i want to start with 17 instead of 21 So how many scs to start with!! I made 14 and 15 didn't work either way Plz help me
Hi Jennifer -- LOVE your videos. What metal tapestry needle do you use for the chunkier yarn? I can never find a metal one that's wide enough. Also, is yours sold by the knitting/crochet supplies, or with the sewing notions? Thanks so much!
Once again, my scarf is narrower: almost 9 inches wide, certainly not 9.5. I know why; she holds her hook looser. I wrap the yarn twice in my left hand while she only has it around once.
I'm a beginner at crochet and I appreciate how easy it is to follow your tutorials. I feel like a pro now. Thank you!
I really like the way you show us the things we are going to make in detail and the names you chose are adorable .

Janet Christian It looks like the pavement infinity scarf.
anyone tried this as a striped scarf? like variating between two colors for this pattern? if anyone has, would you suggest trying it? I kinda wanna see how this would look two toned, but wondered if anyone tried it.
I love how you crochet and I wish my pattern turned out like yours. I'm too tight
use a larger hook...
hi.. I have a yarn which says 9mm yarn but i don't have 9mm hook so can I use 8 mm or 10 mm crochet hook . Thanks
yes you can. It will be a little looser with 10mm or tighter with 8mm. I'd go with the 10mm

Hi Jennifer, getting ready to crochet this scarf. I was wondering how did you add the 2nd skein of yarn?
It's the same as changing colour
I love the Crochet Hook. Where can I find one?

This is a pretty scarf, but the color choice of the white with the white background makes it difficult to see.
Very nice! !

I am currently making this scarf using a 6mm hook and Yarn Bee Soft Delights and it is turning out beautifully!
Hi Jenniffer
