I found your video after buying new yarn to start a project based on another video tutorial but she went so quickly and used such thin yarn and such a tiny hook, I couldn't see what she was doing. I've been crocheting for over 30 years, so it's not like I'm new to this. I was so frustrated, I was almost ready to set my new yarn on fire. LOL
I appreciate that you demonstrate every step at a slow enough pace to follow, and even multiple times. I've just made a sample but I'll now be starting a larger basket weave piece. Thank you very much!
You are very welcome I am glad that I could be of help :)
Love this stitch....definitely makes it looks SO do-able even for beginners! Thanks!
Hi Bella, My name is Alice. I am using my husband you tube, I don't have a google acct. So I am the one who subscribed to your channel. And I am so happy to find you. I was able to do this stitch with no trouble at all. I will be using this stitch for the cover for a crochet hook wallet. I can wait till It's finish. You where very good in telling us how to do this stitch. I am in the USA. Thank-You again Alice
Love this video!!!! You were good at explaining it in a non-complicated fashion!!! Can't wait to try this... It is a beautiful pattern!
Im very new to the crochet world, I like your video because you take your time, you speak clearly and you use a bright colored yarn for your tutorial so I can see clearly what you are doing. Thank you for the video.
You're very welcome just remember crochet takes patience and practice but the end results are worth it 🙂
Thank you Bella for this basket weave tutorial, I learned to just crochet yearrs ago :-), but I'm fairly new in the manner of learning new stitches and the name of them. I've followed many of your tutorials and have made and finished lot's of projects from them, thank you for your easy to follow tutorials :-D
You are a natural teacher! I've tried basketweave with others but they made it too complicated. I was skeptical at first but you were able to sort me out! Kudos to you!🎉❤
I'm glad it was helpful :)
Thank you. Very clear instructions, gave the math and count, left everything else to our interpretation. I got it first try. Unusual for me. 👍
ii,
I have a brain injury and its hard for me to learn. I like how slowly this is. awesome.
I used this stitch to make a cowl as a present for my Mum-in-law, and it turned out really well. Your tutorials are very easy to follow, and soothing to watch :-)
Thank you :)
thank you!! this was the first stitch my Grandma taught me. she has long since passed away😢 and I haven't crocheted in a very long time,, so thank you for an easy to understand lesson!!😊
What a lovely comment ❤️

Love this one! I’m new to crochet, having only been at it for just over a month. I’m trying to stay within my knowledge base, but also trying to push myself to try new stitches. I can’t wait to try this one!
Love this stitch and I've had a go at a sample. Would love a pattern using this stitch for a men's cowl. Hoping to give as gifts for Christmas using Debbie bliss chunky. Thank you
Such a great, easy-to-follow video that's great for any beginner or someone who just wants a fun pattern. I'm having a lot of fun crocheting with it.
I thought it would be so much more complicated, but it's easy and you make it easy to follow; thank you!

It's my 4th basket stitch tutorial video and you're absolutely the best. Your video is clear and detailed. Some of them don't even show properly their sample. Thank you so much and the subtitles are great! Loves from Turkey. :)
You're very welcome :)
This is honestly way more easier than the other videos that I've seen. Now I can get started and make a gift for my father! 😊
I learned how to do a granny square when I was about 8 or 10 but I never did anything with it. Recently I wanted to learn how to do more. I was going to take a class but then I found you! You are a great teacher! I am crocheting! ! Thank you sooooo much!
Hi, thanks a lot love this new chrochet stitch will work it on a blanket this year.
You’re very welcome 😊
Love this pattern and tutorial. Currently making a nice winter blanket and it’s so thick and warm. I’m very beginner and haven’t crochet in 20 years when I learned from my grandmother
Good luck with your project :)
I am a beginner and I find your tutorials very helpful and easy to follow. Thank you for your time and effort making these tutorials. I'm going to attempt my first blanket and I think this might be a nice stitch for it.
Ive learned a lot from you, Bella coco. I send people to your channel. You are very good at explaining things.

I am LOVING this pattern! I'm using a Charisma bulky 5 yarn and a 9.0mm hook, and it feels so great to work with? Both this yarn and the pattern just work so nicely together!! Thank you for this video!
You are very welcome :)

I love this stitch and the instructions were very easy to follow. This stitch looks very much the same as the basket weve stitch that I knitted my grand son's baby blanket.
I really like this video! I was able to follow along pretty easily :)! Thank you for posting this video!!! It was a great follow along.
You're very welcome :)
Made a baby afghan with this stitch and it looks fab. Also made smaller sample squares for a patchwork blanket of various square patches of your different tutorials and it is looking super. Loving being back with my crochet hooks again. Xxxxx

I have just started my project and really like this stich. Thank you for the instructions about how to make a blanket (x8) +7. I am making a dual colour King blanket.
Is there a printable pattern for the basket weave crocheted afghan?
Pat Waller revelry.com has loads of patterns that use basket weave
I love this video. Truly I do when I want to make a cloth/potholder I use your pattern a super big hug and thank you.
You are very welcome :)
Thank you so much for your videos! You make things so clear. When I want to learn a new stitch, I know exactly where to go!!
I tried this with nothing in mind but to just try it. I wish I had a size in mind because the price I have is just over a yard wide and it is the warmest thing. I used some super chunky yarn, it needed a 10 hook, that I just love. I think I will keep going with it and try to connect a second panel of this and hope for the best. Thank you so much, it's beautiful.
Thank you I managed to make a beautiful baby blanket using this pattern, very well explained and easy to follow
Me too! Wish we could share our finished projects. Love her patterns.
Your instructions are clear and easy to follow. One of my favorite patterns.
Glad you like it :)
Thank you once again! Your videos taught me how to crochet a year ago and I have learned all of my new stitches and patterns from you. This is my first time trying this one and once again, it was easy to learn thanks to you! xx

I just blindly follow the video and when I take a good look at it, I already made a basket weave pattern and Im like "Wait...what?" Loving it!!!
Love this video. Super easy peasy...just follow the instructions (don't fast-forward the video) and it looks awesome. Used this for a baby afghan. THANKS!!!

My mom's friend taught me how to crochet. Now I'm making all sorts of things. My mom taught me how to knit. She's too busy to ever finish anything but I went and found out how to read patterns and new stitches on my own. I love both.
This is freakin’ brilliant and THANK GOODNESS it’s such a clear and simple tutorial. I admire this.
From one teacher (English) to another (A Most Excellent Crochet Teacher), thank you!!! Your patient and calm delivery cannot be exceeded by any other! 👍
