I saw "fully" because after the episode he had, he lasted another 5 months and during the last 2, he couldn't move or speak, but we knew he was cognizant from his facial expressions and the fact that he could open his eyes. My mother would sing this to him because she knew it was his favorite song and tears would flow down his cheeks. Not to mention cringing when he didn't get his pain medicine (that is another story completely on it's own about how nurses and medical staff routinely abuse their patients in convalescent hospitals. Even though his quality of life was shit, we knew he could feel and see and eventually died from his treatment at this "hospital.") The song, to us, was so ironic because of the lyrics and how we felt he was "inside looking out." It had so much meaning to my mother that I played it at her funeral last year. Not a dry eye in the entire house because everyone knew what the meaning of the song meant to us. Just thought I'd share...

May I say I'm getting more familiar with Stone Sour and Yes Cory has an amazing voice. He is absolutely talented. I like how he totally absorbs himself in all he sings. I'm very impressed and Love what music I find him in. Little confused at first by the way he completely changes his appearance in some of his videos. I think that's what makes him so good. Judging from the "Hollowood" sign in the video, the song is basically showing a deeper meaning into the life of celebrities, who are just fake and not real. What a powerfully thought out video. I hear the pain in your words. When I made my comment I was trying to summarize a lifetime of feelings into one sentence, and that's what I came up with. I know it's a little hollow and not at all what I meant to express. Loneliness can be experienced at different depths, and some are much more profound than others. Some people think boredom is the same as being lonely, which of course is nonsense. True loneliness stems from 2 things: literally being on our own in this world without another living soul, and/or believing no one else understands what we've been through or the things we carry inside. True loneliness is brutal & cold. I have known it, and there are many more out there. Please take care, I really mean that.
