It's such a shame that this game was cancelled. So many good ideas going for it. It just lacked that final bit of polish and the Super Sonic boss. I hope Hez comes back to the project, but it's been years already.
The whole Layout Aesthetic breaths and screams passion and mood with the Arcade-ish Visual Effects and Character Animations, plus these Zone Tilesets and Enemy designs are Unique and Tone Fitting. Its like Sonic 2 Mixed with Knuckles Chaotix and Sonic CD made their own fancy land to chill out and live their moment, just come out vibin' with a blasting party as their public comes in searching for some action from them. I forgot to mention that the mechanics are pretty well made and, golly You have more Elemental Shields and being able to Mix them? a different Super Sonic Form? The Special Stages and Extra Stages are **chef kiss** varied and vibrant (almost except for the Extra Stage 1 that it needs some work, and Extra 2 Needs Music)
When I saw "Jupiter jungle" zone I thought it was going to have stronger gravity than normal just because it had the word "Jupiter" as it's first name. Turns out I was mistaken, it was actually called that just for alliteration.
I will say a curiosity. In Talus Tempest the color of the water was yellowish, people started laughing saying that it looked like urine and it was changed. Even with this change, there are still sprites from the previous version such as Sonic and Tails with yellowish tones and yellow water geysers. 1:06:40
